The Meow song: hilarious!

This is seriously brilliant. I don't know who these boys are but they have great voices. How did they do this without cracking up constantly?

by Anonymousreply 4001/08/2013

If my balls were removed I wouldn't be cracking up about shit.

by Anonymousreply 101/06/2013

Unclench, r1. They have their balls, the balls just haven't dropped yet. Even the Roman Catholics stopped with the eunuchs more than a century ago.

by Anonymousreply 201/06/2013

R1, what a pathetic-ass response to a great clip. They are boys, probably 9 or 10 or 11 years old. No one has a deep voice at that age.

by Anonymousreply 301/06/2013

What a coincidence. In the morning, I'm bringing my cat Chongkino to the vet to be neutered.

by Anonymousreply 401/06/2013

How many rehearsals did it take before those boys could sing the song in its entirety without outright laughing? The one on the left who does the more comic meows smiles a tiny bit a couple of times but the blond is all business!

by Anonymousreply 501/06/2013

This is utterly fucking stupid...

by Anonymousreply 601/06/2013

The creepy French take on this at the link below. The top comment for this video is: "So beautiful and so gay that I cried tears of pure semen."

by Anonymousreply 701/06/2013

I cculdn't watch 30 seconds of that video, let alone either perform it or sit in an audience and watch it.

by Anonymousreply 801/06/2013

It's cute now but like cats, when they get older, they're just going to hiss.

by Anonymousreply 901/06/2013

R2, you need a little education, don't you? Balls that have or haven't dropped have nothing to do with prepubescent soprano voices. Are you a lesbian, or a one-nutter who is bitter for the loss?

by Anonymousreply 1001/06/2013

Great clip, Op. Thanks.

by Anonymousreply 1101/06/2013

Its called Duetto di Gatto and it was written my Rossini it was written for two sopranos

by Anonymousreply 1201/07/2013

The one on the right really gets it.

by Anonymousreply 1301/07/2013

Love the videos of older ladies singing it.

by Anonymousreply 1401/07/2013

Wait.... Is it the same kids in the French clip? Sure looks and sounds like it.

by Anonymousreply 1501/07/2013

Sexily, they're probably legal in Europe.

by Anonymousreply 1601/07/2013

I think this was a lot more funny to the choir director who probably got some kind of kinky charge out of it.

If I were a parent of one of the kids, I think I'd be irritated that my son was made to make cat sounds on stage. The boys didn't look like they were having any particular fun either.

Yeah I know, I know. I'm a prude on this. But come on.

by Anonymousreply 1701/07/2013

[quote]In the morning, I'm bringing my cat Chongkino to the vet to be neutered.

Good for you, R4, that's the responsible way. But you're taking him to the vet, not bringing him there (that's the grammatical way).

by Anonymousreply 1801/07/2013

You're welcome, R18. I swear, DL probably has the most on-the-ball grammar trolls in the whole internet.

By the way, does anyone else think the blond kid looks like a young Dan Quayle?

by Anonymousreply 1901/07/2013

Jesus R17, get a life. They're choir-boys, it's not a glee club.

by Anonymousreply 2001/07/2013

Some people have no sense of humor

by Anonymousreply 2101/07/2013

From the thread title, I was expecting this.

by Anonymousreply 2201/07/2013

Meow meow, the second boy almost cracked up, meow meow!

by Anonymousreply 2301/07/2013

The French version linked up thread is ultra creepy. You must watch the video until the end to see how creepy and homoeroticism it is. The last minute or so is the creepiest bit.

by Anonymousreply 2401/07/2013

Oops, I meant "homoerotic".

by Anonymousreply 2501/07/2013

"If I were a parent of one of the kids, "

and thank goodness you're not!

We've got enough entitled breeder fraus on here making the same smug deluded pronouncements.

by Anonymousreply 2601/07/2013

[quote]I cculdn't watch 30 seconds of that video, let alone either perform it or sit in an audience and watch it.

It's really quite good, give another look!

by Anonymousreply 2701/07/2013

I have watched about four times already, and sent it to a couple of people

by Anonymousreply 2801/07/2013

[quote]This is utterly fucking stupid...

It gets funnier toward the end, the blonde kid never cracks up once. He's very serious through the whole song.

by Anonymousreply 2901/07/2013

i think it's fabulous fun. The French clip, too.

by Anonymousreply 3001/07/2013

These kids have really good voices.

by Anonymousreply 3101/07/2013

I've heard this song many years ago. Who actually wrote it?

by Anonymousreply 3201/07/2013

Rossini, R32.

by Anonymousreply 3301/07/2013

Here's another version with the two guys and their piano player dude.

by Anonymousreply 3401/07/2013

OMG check out the end of the R34 link

by Anonymousreply 3501/07/2013

The video linked at R34 is the same one linked at R7.

by Anonymousreply 3601/07/2013

Oh sorry. Didn't see r7's link. Please excuse.

by Anonymousreply 3701/07/2013

My kitten went nuts when I played it!

by Anonymousreply 3801/08/2013

Is your kitty alright??

by Anonymousreply 3901/08/2013

Wow, that filmed version is creepy.
