Once and Again
I just started watching this on DVD and am only a few episodes in. I really like Sela Ward, and Billy Campbell's alright too. The plot is pretty slow so far, but I don't mind a character-driven story.
Any thoughts on this show (without too many spoilers please)?
Do they maintain the black and interview sequences for all three seasons?
Does it just become like a modern day serious version of The Brady Bunch?
Is it comparable to My So-Called Life?

And Evan Rachel Wood is great

It was pretty good. Wasn't it done by the same people who did Thirtysomething?
The last season dragged a bit. Campbell and Ward's characters could be a bit whiny...yes ERW was very good I agree.

I liked the series. The kids were great, especially ERW. I think her character had a lesbian relationship during the last season, or was that from the movie "Thirteen"? It's been so long since I watched the series that I don't remember it well.

I remember liking the show when it aired, but it wasn't until the second season that I really fell in love with it. The kids were all great and Susannah Thompson was amazing as well.

Julia Whelan is doing a Hallmark movie that airs in May. About time she fell back onto the face of the earth.

Suzanna Thompson should have won an Emmy for her work on that show.
Julia Whelan took time off to go to University.
Nice to see her back on the screen.
