I refuse to read the "Made a fool of myself over a go-go boy last night" thread.

Could someone summarize for me? TIA.

by Anonymousreply 3612/30/2012

Dude goes gaga over a hot GoGo boy at some NYC club, gets bilked out of $400 in one night by said GoGo boy, goes home that night thinking he'd just found the Man-'O-His-Dreams, but gets a reality check when GoGo boy doesn't respond to his late-night text. Later, GoGo boy finally responds, saying he really liked him and wanted to see him again at a club. Dude gets excited, goes back to club only to be stood up--GoGo boy doesn't show.

by Anonymousreply 112/30/2012

Someone spent $400 on a go-go boy. Consensus was that he should have just hired an escort for $200. Next...

by Anonymousreply 212/30/2012

amazing some people boast about being a total dumbass!

by Anonymousreply 312/30/2012

my review? it was an Extremely Stirring Tale.

by Anonymousreply 412/30/2012

Thanks. What's going on in the "10 Most Bitter Oscar Reactions" thread? I read a few posts yesterday, now I come back and see it's up to almost 200! Is it all fanboi posts now?

by Anonymousreply 512/30/2012

Most of these "Go-Go" dancers are straight, you are wasting your time and money.

by Anonymousreply 612/30/2012

"Made A Fool Of Myself Over A Go-Go Boy Last Night" is 100% brilliant. It's going to win a boatload of Oscars and be a TITANIC-sized hit. The young man who plays the Go-Go Boy should start clearing a space on his mantle now. This is going to be HUGE.

Questions, bitches?

by Anonymousreply 712/30/2012

Thanks, r1

It started out being about bitter Oscar loss reactions, but then it became a back-and-forth about how big a legend Lauren Bacall is--or isn't.

[quote]amazing some people boast about being a total dumbass!

Wow! Some people aren't allowed to make stupid mistakes?

by Anonymousreply 1012/30/2012

The Go-Go Boy's name was John Foster Dulles.

Thanks R9. I'll probably pass... unless there's some good snark about her Highpoint coffee ads.

by Anonymousreply 1212/30/2012

The Streep Turd has taken over and ruined another interesting thread with his obssesive fangul asshole remarks in the Oscar Reaction Thread.

by Anonymousreply 1312/30/2012

I loved the thread, but i saw some of those straight "go-go boys" and am shocked that the 45 y/o OP was blinded with lust by one of those thugs, as well as ripped off to the tune of $400.

Regardless of who he is, i would never pay a straight guy to bump and grind against me, especially when i've had sex with and/or dated men far more attractive.

As the saying goes, a fool and his money are soon parted.

by Anonymousreply 1412/30/2012

Will John Foster get the best actor nomination?

by Anonymousreply 1512/30/2012

The go-go in question

by Anonymousreply 1612/30/2012

The guy is hot, but I'm guessing he's str8.

by Anonymousreply 1712/30/2012

I no him and he is not nice. Reichen made love on him.

by Anonymousreply 1812/30/2012

R18, let me guess: English is not your native tongue...

by Anonymousreply 1912/30/2012

[quote]I no him and he is not nice. Reichen made love on him.

Reichen will do anybody.

by Anonymousreply 2012/30/2012

R19 Nor do you seem to know pop culture.

by Anonymousreply 2112/30/2012

R16, are you sure that the guy pictured via the link that you posted is not Vinnie?

OP specifically said his lust boy was not Vinnie.

The guy pictured is very attractive as far as looks are concerned, but he's too "over-built" for my tastes. Too bad we can't see his other assets.

By the way, do you know if he's straight?

As best i know, the strip club mentioned did not exist when i visited NYC in 1997. I was disgusted to go out in NYC and not see any naked dancers.

TIA

by Anonymousreply 2312/30/2012

No "my guy" is not Vinnie, though he is extremely good looking. It's impossible to get a dance with him, though I've tried. I'm proud to say that I and some of the other regular patrons have formed a tight-knit little group. We discuss Vinnie a lot and the consensus is that he's straight. Supposably he won't even do private sessions.

by Anonymousreply 2412/30/2012

OK, OP from original thread...WHO IS YOUR GUY????

by Anonymousreply 2512/30/2012

Summary: We all make mistakes, but the guy was still too hard on himself. Surprisingly, not everyone went all cunty on him.

by Anonymousreply 2612/30/2012

The nipples on the guy in r16's post remind me of Andy Cohen's eyes.

by Anonymousreply 2712/30/2012

Please post the guy that you're in love with, OP.

by Anonymousreply 2812/30/2012

I speculated that it's this guy (Karl) based on OP's description of him as a Guido juicehead. OP neither confirmed nor denied.

by Anonymousreply 2912/30/2012

Let's hope not, R29. That guy is repulsive.

by Anonymousreply 3012/30/2012

Here's another guess: Big Frank.

by Anonymousreply 3112/30/2012

OP is being purposely evasive because he wants the guy to be his and his only. OP, newsflash: He's not yours and we don't want him! Now show us a damn picture!

by Anonymousreply 3212/30/2012

This is one of the oldest tricks in the sex industry. Whores and exotic dancers employed by sleazy nightclubs pretend to be personally interested in their customers in order to get them to stay and waste their money on overpriced liquor and other add-on services.

by Anonymousreply 3312/30/2012

Glad that you guys generally agree... i wouldn't spend a damn dime on either of the goofballs pictured here.

R16's earlier man looked good enough, though.

Have gay escorts been thoroughly discussed on DL?

by Anonymousreply 3412/30/2012

Yes, R33, 99 percent of us know that.

by Anonymousreply 3512/30/2012

News flash! That's what they get paid for, to please their customers.
