When do you go back to work?

Wednesday or January 7?

by Anonymousreply 1512/30/2012

We're going to Palm Springs 1/5 - 1/12, back to work on the 14th.

by Anonymousreply 112/30/2012

January 7th for me. Company re-opens on the 2nd, but I took the extra 3 days off.

by Anonymousreply 212/30/2012

January 2nd.

by Anonymousreply 312/30/2012

Monday, unfortunately.

Although they'll probably let us out half day.

by Anonymousreply 412/30/2012

R4, that is so lame that your employer makes you come in on Monday and then lets you go home after half day.

Is it a law firm?

Large law firms often do this, but they let you go home at 2:00 pm.

It really is a poor decision to make employees ruin a long weekend by coming in Monday.

by Anonymousreply 512/30/2012

Never. Some of us are fortunate enough to have retired.

You two must be elderly gays.

by Anonymousreply 912/30/2012

January 28. I'm a college professor.

by Anonymousreply 1012/30/2012

R9 I'm not even eligible for Medicare yet.

I work for the Feds and we get out 3 hours early on Monday.

by Anonymousreply 1212/30/2012

I decided to quit over the holidays.

by Anonymousreply 1312/30/2012

As a ER physician I am never off

by Anonymousreply 1412/30/2012

Well it's not a law firm, and not technically government.

I work for at a hydroelectric company, but it's the corporate side, and im just a paper pusher.

The dumbest part is that we have Tuesday off. So having to come in for a half-day after the weekend and before another day off, is just ridiculous.
