You know that unpleasantly stuffed feeling you get after a huge meal?

What does it mean when you wake up feeling that way, and still feel that way 3 hours later despite having eaten nothing.

by Anonymousreply 4112/30/2012

You're pregnant, Rose.

by Anonymousreply 112/29/2012

That the bottoming you did last night should have stopped at one load per dick.

by Anonymousreply 212/29/2012

No bottoming...not last night not ever. That can't be it.

by Anonymousreply 312/29/2012

I did make a pudding with whole flax seeds, once I eat that it should shove out anything unless it is viral.

by Anonymousreply 412/29/2012

It means you may be an eldergay as digestion slows down as one ages. It is not apparent day-to=day but after a festal indulgence it may take 24 hrs to process the full intake.

Eg., I rarely eat red meat because I now take longer to process it. If I do, it's for dinner on Friday or Saturday and possibly for lunch during the week. Anticipate and adjust.

by Anonymousreply 512/29/2012

I am not a scientist nor a nutritionist, but I think it means you probably ate too much.

by Anonymousreply 612/29/2012

...ah but I didn't eat too much. Last night's meal was a small salad and some vegetable soup.

No red meat, no bread, light and simple.

Not yet 40, but getting close.

I went to bed feeling fine and woke up feeling like I ate the world. I took a gas thing in case it was air....

The pudding is almost done. Let's see if the flax seed does anything.

by Anonymousreply 712/29/2012

The big "C", OP.

by Anonymousreply 812/29/2012

You need to shit OP.

by Anonymousreply 912/29/2012

Try an enema...they work WONDERS!

by Anonymousreply 1012/29/2012

R9 and 10 that happened naturally thanks...

Still feel it, I am thinking virus.

by Anonymousreply 1112/29/2012

Golly, Miss Python, maybe one tapir was enough.

by Anonymousreply 1212/29/2012

Thinking food poisoning.

by Anonymousreply 1312/29/2012

Food poisoning certainly does not make you feel bloated. Quite the opposite.

by Anonymousreply 1412/29/2012

OP can't get his/her/its story straight. The post title says HUGE MEAL but then says he only had a SMALL salad and soup.

by Anonymousreply 1512/29/2012

R15 what is so hard to understand The FEELING you get after a large meal.

I never said I had a large meal I had the FEELING.

Get it now?

by Anonymousreply 1612/29/2012

by Anonymousreply 1712/29/2012

lol r12

by Anonymousreply 1812/29/2012

OP. you have gas. Take some simethicone.

by Anonymousreply 1912/29/2012

Hang on. You got the feeling of having eaten a large meal when you didn't?

It's either cancer or you've got an Alien baby inside of you, Rose.

by Anonymousreply 2012/29/2012

It means you have a tumor

by Anonymousreply 2112/29/2012

I know what you mean. I have eaten hardly anything at all.

by Anonymousreply 2212/29/2012

R14 the "stuffed" feeling is often the calm before the storm.

by Anonymousreply 2312/29/2012

R19 I have taken it a couple of change. I really am thinking a viral thing.

by Anonymousreply 2412/29/2012

Can you describe your symptoms in a bit more detail, OP?

Is your stomach bloated?

Are you belching?

Do you feel queasy?

What else have you eaten in the past 24 hours? It might be that you haven't eaten enough.

by Anonymousreply 2512/29/2012

Bloated? Did you eat any breads? Any dairy?

Your salad & soup was a good meal, but what kind of soup? What was in the salad? What kind of dressing? It's possible you got something from the salad greens not being properly washed? Maybe something was spoiled?

How much water are you drinking, OP? Are you eating a lot of sweets?

by Anonymousreply 2612/29/2012

Forgot to ask if you are exercising or are you sedentary too much?

by Anonymousreply 2712/29/2012

My stomach is not bloated.

I am not belching.

I do not feel queasy.

I woke up feeling this way but did not have bread or dairy yesterday though I do have it sometimes.

Cabbage soup with vegetables.

Dressing was a touch of olive oil and vinegar. Salad greens were washed.

I drink a good amount of water.

I never eat sweets, I actually dislike sugar.

by Anonymousreply 2812/29/2012

I've felt like that before and it ended up being the very first symptom of a stomach bug. Be prepared just in case, OP.

by Anonymousreply 2912/29/2012

I think you may be right R29. I will wait and see but stay hydrated just in case.

by Anonymousreply 3012/29/2012

Gastroparesis, OP. A/K/A delayed gastric emptying. I've had it for almost 20 years, along with GERD and pyloric stenosis. It is bad beyond description. Get yourself checked out.

by Anonymousreply 3112/29/2012

It could be hiatal hernia. About 60% of Americans have that. It can be managed without surgery, but it should not be just ignored.

by Anonymousreply 3212/29/2012

R31 I doubt it...but thanks.

by Anonymousreply 3312/29/2012

Oh, gosh. I wasn't thinking. It's cancer. A mass is starting to impede peristalsis, and soon you'll be writhing in agony as it all starts to back up through your esophagus? Sort of like eating crap backwards. I'm very sorry for you, OP. Maybe the inevitable colostomy will save your life. We hope so.

by Anonymousreply 3412/29/2012

[quote] Cabbage soup with vegetables...vinegar...Salad greens

Those things are fairly harsh on a stomach. It sounds to me as if you haven't eaten enough and enough 'normal' food.

You still haven't described your symptoms.

by Anonymousreply 3512/29/2012

[quote]I never eat sweets, I actually dislike sugar.

Truthfully, you sound a bit "stuffy" in general.

So maybe nature is about to take a change in course?

by Anonymousreply 3612/29/2012

R29 I think is right. I remember that feeling when I had the Norovirus. Not only did I feel full but stomach felt warm as well. Then the shits and vomiting started. I was not hungry ad couldn't eat for four days.

by Anonymousreply 3712/29/2012

R35 one symptom. I feel like I ate an enormous meal, I feel stuffed.

As far as not enough food, that is a normal dinner for me.

Breakfast like a king, lunch a prince, dinner a pauper. I tend not to eat meat at night.

I did have breakfast and no change in the feeling.

I do think it is viral now, nothing else makes sense.

by Anonymousreply 3812/29/2012

And I think that stuffed feeling is swollen enflammed stomach.

by Anonymousreply 3912/29/2012

Whatever it was it is gone today.

I could not abide the idea of much dinner so I had a touch of fish and greens, went to bed early and today woke up feeling normal.

by Anonymousreply 4012/30/2012

you need to have another nice, long bm...
