Diane Keaton

You know what I really love? I love the way she sings "Seems Like Old Times" in Annie Hall and "You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To" in Radio Days.

There is just a lovely sweetness about them.

Anyone else like non run-of-the-mill versions of a favorite song?

I love her, period.

I love her, ditto. Sweet, odd, lovely, original and a very good actress, at times a great one.

Here is one of my favourite unexpected songs. The brutal and vulnerable Tom Waits version of Somewhere, from West Side Story.

The performance of Moon River to guitar accompaniment in Almodovar's Bad Education.

I love her performance of "Seems Like Old Times." Woody Allen, for all his failings, knew how to bring out the best in her and Mia Farrow.
