My partner works at a hotel

...and upon occasion I will fill in for the room service waiter in the early morning. Big money, easy gig, wheel the cart and tip included, most tip on top of it. I can pull in 500 on a good morning.

Anyway...shocking how man men answer the door naked, in a towel, or in undies, sometimes with the dick peeking out of the boxer gap.

They do not give a shit.

Many are out of shape straight guys on business, but there is an occasional hottie.

by Anonymousreply 4212/27/2012

Come on OP, let's hear a few stories. Do they walk around naked, signing the check, etc? We need details!

by Anonymousreply 212/26/2012

The naked ones...yea they walk because I am coming in with a cart.

They back up. I bring the cart in...'Where would you like it' I set up on the table or occasionally pull out the tray for bed service. They sign the check and usually add a tip. Some flop around, most are pretty small in a nest of hair.

Once a younger man still asleep answered naked and then tried to push back his wood with his hand.

He finally said 'aw fuck it' as I presented the check and he moved his hand to sign as his wood flopped forward, still hard as a rock. He was a hairy hotty.

Most of them just got out of bed and it is rare that I get hit on.

by Anonymousreply 312/26/2012

You lost me at "I can pull in 500 on a good morning."

by Anonymousreply 412/26/2012

We have an automatic delivery charge of 20 bucks plus a 20% gratuity.

My average is 30 bucks a room as a result. 10 rooms would equal 300 bucks.

You have no idea how much one can get in a good (expensive hotel) with 15 to 20 deliveries.

by Anonymousreply 512/26/2012

I've answered the door to hotel staff like that. They are servants so I somehow don't care how this comes across

Oddly, I'm normally a nice guy but in this one regards.

by Anonymousreply 612/26/2012

R6...and as a periodic servant I don't care either. As long as I get paid you can dingle your little man anywhere you like.

by Anonymousreply 712/26/2012

I don't believe that the waiter gets the whole delivery charge plus an automatic 20% tip. The hotel normally keeps most of that, plus the tip is divided among more staffers.

by Anonymousreply 912/26/2012

R6 sounds ridiculous.

by Anonymousreply 1012/26/2012

R9 you are incorrect.

It depends on the hotel.

In some there are additional staff who set up the trays, and carts and then the waiter just trudges back and forth.

When I take this late night early morning shift there is no extra staff. I am it, therefore I keep the whole tip.

While it gets busier later in the morning, because I am a solo act and keep all the $$ I am happy to take the occasional shift in a pinch. I then take a shower, go to my regular job and nap at lunch.

I don't get much sleep when I do it, but I am a sub, and don't get called often.

by Anonymousreply 1112/26/2012

Hot description, r3. I've always been turned on by naked dudes trying to hide their wood.

I think it traces to when I was in college in the '90s, I lived in a very old men's dormitory at a Catholic university, which had group shower rooms. So many hot memories, but there was one really beautiful guy in particular - athletic, muscular, dark haired. One semester he and I showered at the same time nearly every morning, and he came in almost every single day with his cock still at full attention. He would sort of cup his hand around it in a vain attempt to conceal the boner, but it was big and the head would always poke out. Especially at first, it took intense concentration on my part to keep my own cock down.

I never thought it was a gay thing on his part - I think he just rolled out of bed and right into the shower room; within a few minutes, his erection had subsided. There was usually a couple guys in the shower, but no one ever said anything. God I miss college.

by Anonymousreply 1212/26/2012

Thanks, OP. This is how a great Aaron Travis story starts.

by Anonymousreply 1312/26/2012

What R14 says.

by Anonymousreply 1512/26/2012

r12, I am 65 y/o but look many years younger.

I'd like to enroll in this college, since there is a dorm especially for me.

by Anonymousreply 1612/26/2012

OP, Stories are common of employees paying $10,000 to $100,000 up front for tip jobs in the better Vegas casinos. Room service pays more than managerial jobs, for the hours worked, when you include the tips. Even in the lesser hotels stories of $100 tips and requests to come back when off shift are normal. Clients aren't always modest when they open the door either. You don't get tip jobs unless you can prove that you are very discreet, and can handle all solicitations.

by Anonymousreply 1712/26/2012

This doesn't happen!

by Anonymousreply 1812/26/2012

Is this a gay hotel or something?

by Anonymousreply 1912/26/2012

How much of that $500 comes from getting them off OP?

by Anonymousreply 2012/26/2012

Not a dime R20. They don't want that.

I am making breakfast deliveries before 6 a.m.

Guys sleep naked, or in shorts. They use the pre-ordered breakfast delivery as their wake up call.

They stumble to the door in whatever state they are in.

An occasional early riser in a towel from the shower, some naked, some in undies, and a rare on in PJs.

by Anonymousreply 2112/26/2012

It's against the law in Georgia to answer the door nekkid!

by Anonymousreply 2212/26/2012

OP: These naked and half-naked men are trying to tempt you. They just seeing what they can get away with since very few would answer their door at home while they're naked.

Ever had sex with any of them?

by Anonymousreply 2312/26/2012

Have u fucked anyone then?

by Anonymousreply 2412/26/2012

R23, my ex worked at the post office delivering packages when he was in college. He used to complain about both people answering the door in their underwear or even naked.

What bothered him was that they didn't seem to be aware he existed. He always said being undressed when they answered the door wasn't sexual.

by Anonymousreply 2512/26/2012

Sorry for the bad edit. Please ignore "both."

by Anonymousreply 2612/26/2012

I've stayed at many top hotels and never seen anything close to a $20 delivery charge for room service. Completely ridiculous BS OP, as several prior posters have pointed out.

by Anonymousreply 2712/26/2012

R27 - I've seen delivery charges of $15 before. I remember staying in a 5 star in NYC and a boiled egg was $27 when all was done.

Just an egg - with salt and pepper of course.

by Anonymousreply 2812/26/2012

A simple web search showed hotels in NYC with charges ranging from 3.00 to 25.00, with some vitriolic complaints about the delivery charge and gratuity included.

by Anonymousreply 2912/26/2012

I used to work as a front desk manager at a hotel, and I used to tell my employees this:

"We work in the hotel industry, the most personal and invasive of customer service industries. Every weekend, we invite several hundred strangers to come into our business and eat, sleep, cry, poop, shower, have sex, watch TV, and anything else they want to do."

by Anonymousreply 3012/26/2012

And the ho tell everybody. Even the mayor.

by Anonymousreply 3112/26/2012

I just looked at 11 hotels in nyc and didnt see any charge of that type whatsoever. liar.

by Anonymousreply 3212/26/2012

Thanks fir the backup r32, I stand by my call of bs on this, if anyone can provide a link to prove this at any hotel, I'll admit I'm wrong and apologize, but all I've seen are claims and no proof.

by Anonymousreply 3312/26/2012

I love exposing it all!

by Anonymousreply 3412/27/2012

I answered the door naked in my hotel a couple of weeks ago, but with my penis retracting into my body, and my huge moobs, the server called me ma'am.

by Anonymousreply 3512/27/2012

I've told this story before, but I once delivered room service and had Ed Asner open the door wearing black socks, boxer shorts, and a sleeveless t-shirt.

by Anonymousreply 3612/27/2012

OP = Liar.

I work in hotels and there is no way in hell you would ever make $500 in a morning. And I used to work at the Four Seasons and I worked at the Peninsula, both top of the line hotels. And no one ever makes anywhere near that.

In the first place room service always has a sur charge so few people tip because the servers get that (some places a portion). $200 possibly $300 (if it was a wedding or special event) is possible, but that would be a rare thing.

by Anonymousreply 3712/27/2012

Besides, in upscale hotels such as the one OP describes, there is a FREE ROBE in the room which is to be worn when you answer the door to the service tradesmen.

by Anonymousreply 3812/27/2012

[quote]He always said being undressed when they answered the door wasn't sexual.

Would be for me!

by Anonymousreply 3912/27/2012

"Oddly, I'm normally a nice guy but in this one regards. "

English isn't your first language, is it, toots?

by Anonymousreply 4012/27/2012

[quote]OP, Stories are common of employees paying $10,000 to $100,000 up front for tip jobs in the better Vegas casinos.

R17 is the biggest bullshitter ever to hit DL. And that is saying a lot.

by Anonymousreply 4112/27/2012

This thread is so fucking dumb and boring. Who really cares, OP?
