Sean Hayes to star in father-daughter sitcom

No word yet on which role he will play.

I fucking love Sean Hayes.

For some reason I read this as Sean Maher first and got really excited...but good for Hayes.

by Anonymousreply 212/19/2012

R1 = Sean Hayes.

by Anonymousreply 312/19/2012

Sounds good. Who'll be playing the father?

by Anonymousreply 412/19/2012

Will the dad be gay?

by Anonymousreply 512/19/2012

he's unwatchable in ANYTHING he does and I cringe every time he's on UP ALL NIGHT

by Anonymousreply 612/19/2012

So it is just him as the father?

I remember this being mentioned a while back and it was to be about a gay couple raising a 12y.o son.

by Anonymousreply 712/19/2012

This is a completely different project, r7, the other on wasn't picked up to pilot.

by Anonymousreply 812/19/2012

B glad when hes back on tv

by Anonymousreply 912/19/2012

He's got a lot of talent, and he's been wasting it on shit like THE THREE STOOGES.

by Anonymousreply 1012/19/2012

He was actually pretty good in Damn Yankees

by Anonymousreply 1112/19/2012

I think someone needs to cast him and Jon Cryer together as 2 gay brothers who dislike each other who were left a ton of money by their wealthy mother (played by Debbie Reynolds?) and the only way they could inherit it is to live in her mansion for a year together. Laffs maybe? Has no producer or director seen that these two need to be together?

by Anonymousreply 1212/19/2012

This guy has his shit together. He produces Grimm and Hot in Cleveland. He was cute when he popped up in bit parts on Parks and Recreation & Portlandia.

by Anonymousreply 1312/19/2012

Sitcom gets a pilot order.

by Anonymousreply 1401/22/2013

Is he gay?

by Anonymousreply 1501/23/2013

I enjoyed his performance in 'Promises, Promises'.

Good comic instincts and an engaging personality on stage as well as screen. I hope it's a success - the 14 y.o. daughter character will make or break it.
