Porn Star Michael Lucas explores the world of the gay community in Israel in new documentary

Michael Lucas has taken his non-porn interests to a whole new level. The Russian auteur has announced that his latest project is a serious documentary that explores the world of the gay community in Israel. The film, Undressing Israel: Gay Men in the Promised Land, features interviews with a variety of local men, including a pair of dads raising their two kids, a gay member of Israel's parliament, a trainer who served openly in the army and a young Arab-Israeli journalist.

[quote] The Russian auteur

Don't you mean "The Russian asshole"?

by Anonymousreply 112/15/2012

Who the fuck cares what that mess is up to?

by Anonymousreply 212/15/2012

Please. This is just his excuse to get some hot Israeli cock. It's called "Undressing Israel" for a reason!

by Anonymousreply 312/15/2012

According to the Daily Beast, Tel Aviv is the hottest destination for gay men.

by Anonymousreply 401/24/2013

Here is a more direct link.

by Anonymousreply 501/24/2013

He Wound like fun!

by Anonymousreply 601/24/2013

Eliad Cohen is reason enough to visit Israel.

by Anonymousreply 701/25/2013

I feel dirty just reading his name.

by Anonymousreply 801/25/2013

Why won't he bottom? Is he ashamed to be homosexual?

by Anonymousreply 1001/25/2013

[quote]no matter how hot they are I could never be with an Israeli man. I couldn't get over what they are doing to the Palestinians.

That makes no sense, particularly since there are a great many leftist Israelis who strongly disagree with government policy and action in that regard (and many others).

Would you expect men from other countries to snub you because of unjust things America continues to do in all parts of the world? Or would you expect them to understand that you are not directly responsible for that, and do not support it?

by Anonymousreply 1101/25/2013

JEWS = HUGE Penises!!!!

by Anonymousreply 1201/25/2013

r11 good point, so many times it is easy to dismiss someone based on group affiliation and not looking at the individual. DL and all the hook-up sites offers plenty of examples.

by Anonymousreply 1301/25/2013

Damnit why won't he bottom? I will not be ignored on this. Tell me now bitches or I'll boil the rabbit.

by Anonymousreply 1401/25/2013

yumers!

by Anonymousreply 1501/25/2013

You don't think he bottoms in his personal life?

Bitch please.

by Anonymousreply 1601/25/2013

BUMP for HOT Israeli men.

by Anonymousreply 1702/21/2013

[quote]JEWS = HUGE Penises!!!!

Yeah, and so do the Chinese.

by Anonymousreply 1802/21/2013

This guy should be banned from discussion. What a revolting pos he is. 'Support Republicans because they're pro-Israel, and Israel doesn't hate homosexuals.' So Americans should vote for people who hate homosexuals just so your beloved country keeps getting its welfare check. The guy's a retard. His rankings about non-Jews in the Middle East and how we should basically kill them is disturbing. Who was that brainless bimbo who did porn and ran for governor of California? She's the female version of him.

by Anonymousreply 1902/21/2013

Don't go there if you're into uncut cocks. Although Lucas himself is an uncut Jew.

[quote]Perlmutter and his friends spent the entire 10-day trip in Tel Aviv, never leaving the city limits. They went to the gay beach, partied at gay bars and nightclubs, even stayed at a gay hotel,

Gee, how appealing.

[quote]“It was incredible,” says Perlmutter. “It was like Vegas on steroids.”

Cooooooooooooool!

(The guys's 44).

by Anonymousreply 2102/22/2013

[quote]And Perlmutter, the TV executive, says his experience in Tel Aviv made other cities pale in comparison. "It was like being in Montreal, Manhattan, and London all at once, but with more energy and style.

I've never heard such nonsense. That article is such a blatant commercial.

by Anonymousreply 2202/22/2013

R22, I am not a Jew and I have not seen the documentary, but I will say the existing city of Tel Aviv was essentially developed after World War 2 with the money from those Jews who left Europe (in particular Germany) before the Holocaust.

Consequently they built it in "European-style" but with smart post-war planning. Grand boulevards, art museums, fabulous hotels and parks are everywhere. Wealthy Jews like Helena Rubinstein built parks, Edward G. Robinson and others left the art museum impressionist paintings.

The beach is filled with very sexy men and women. The nightlife is absolutely electric.

You really need to go to see what I mean.

by Anonymousreply 2302/22/2013

[quote]I have not seen the documentary,

Well, I've seen a trailer and it's clearly financed by the tourist board.

& the quote, I quoted sounds ridiculous.

[quote]The beach is filled with very sexy men and women. The nightlife is absolutely electric. You really need to go to see what I mean.

More annoying superlatives.

Good for them targeting the gays. Why not? It's just the way it's being done grates with me.

[quote]Perlmutter and his friends spent the entire 10-day trip in Tel Aviv, never leaving the city limits. They went to the gay beach, partied at gay bars and nightclubs, even stayed at a gay hotel

Really? No desire to see any more of the country. Just gaying it out in Tel Aviv for the whole ten days? It all sounds way too ghetto gay to me. Maybe some people have read this and think it sounds terrific. I'm appalled.

by Anonymousreply 2402/22/2013

Lucas aside, it might be noteworthy to point out that there a LOT of gay men who don't take it up the ass.

So, there ya go.

by Anonymousreply 2502/22/2013

Why is r24 consistently attacking the documentary? I have no idea if it was "financed by the tourist board" but if it was SO WHAT?

One always hates to accuse someone of virulent anti-Semitism against the Democratic natiin of Israel, but what is otherwise going on here?

by Anonymousreply 2602/22/2013

Lucas is such a creep. I'll never understand his popularity.

by Anonymousreply 2702/22/2013

[post by racist shit-stain # 2 removed.]

by Anonymousreply 2802/22/2013

[quote]but what is otherwise going on here?

Nothing is 'otherwise' going on here. I've made my point very clearly.

This 'Gay Tel Aviv' stuff in the form of a 'documentary' is plain old infomercial, in disguise.

[quote]One always hates to accuse someone of virulent anti-Semitism against the Democratic natiin of Israel,

Doesn't sound like you hate it at all, you've done it at the drop of a hat and in this case it's completely inappropriate.

Just because I don't like some crappy infomerical for Gay Tel Aviv, presented by some 'porn star' does not make me a 'Jew hater'.

Save your anti-Semitism name calling in check, please and use it when it's called for.

by Anonymousreply 2902/22/2013

Here's the trailer. I think it looks great, but of course I'm a Jew.

My older brother lives in Haifa and I've visited and have spent quite a lot of time in Tel Aviv. It's a fantastic city and VERY accepting of gays and lesbians, perhaps more so than any other city I've ever been in. There is nowhere in the US that comes even remotely close.

by Anonymousreply 3002/22/2013

Ten days in Tel Aviv? Nice place, but four is all you need. As for the nightlife scene, I actually preferred Beirut, although I wouldn't spend ten days there either.

by Anonymousreply 3102/22/2013

BUMP for Israeli hotness.

by Anonymousreply 3203/05/2013

[quote]It's a fantastic city and VERY accepting of gays and lesbians, perhaps more so than any other city I've ever been in. There is nowhere in the US that comes even remotely close.

Except for...oh, any of the states with marriage equality. The US is far ahead of Israel in legal protections for gays.

by Anonymousreply 3303/05/2013

The trailer and topic are intriguing, but I wish he would completely rescore the music - sounds pretty terrible.

by Anonymousreply 3403/05/2013

Israel is known for their pink propaganda. They like to portray themselves as liberal, open and gay friendly while they treat the Palastine population like sh*t. It's disgusting. I'm currently boycotting Israeli goods, and I'm never traveling to that disgusting country.

by Anonymousreply 3503/05/2013

It freaks me out to hear Hebrew spoken in a gay context. I'm only used to Hebrew being spoken in a religious context (synagogue).

by Anonymousreply 3603/15/2013

Israeli men & women are super gorgeous.
