Ron Jeremy On Measure B: It's The 'Final Nail In The Coffin' For Suffering Porn Industry

Adult film actor Ron Jeremy trashed Los Angeles' new condom law for porn films, claiming that the voter-approved measure was the "final nail in the coffin" for the county's struggling porn industry.

Ron Jeremy is a sleazy pig!

by Anonymousreply 112/12/2012

Um, are all porn films filmed in LA? Go film in Hawaii.

by Anonymousreply 212/12/2012

R1. Ron Jeremy's swine affectation is not the point of the thread.

The topic is being porn performers being forced to wear condoms. They're suffering, goddammit. Ain't ya got no sympathy?

by Anonymousreply 312/12/2012

R2 almost all porns are filmed in the San Fernando Valley. Northridge, Chatsworth, Reseda. Hell, I know of a couple of upscale homes in Studio City that are rented out primarily for porn shoots.

And many porn companies are thinking of pulling up stakes and moving to Vegas. MUCH better tax situation there, plenty of available talent, etc.

LA's porn industry is a good chunk of tax money for the city. And we're idiots for passing Measure B and risking losing it.

by Anonymousreply 412/12/2012

R4,they film a lot of porn in Florida as well. The was enacted truing to stop the AIDS virus from spreading. Why did they even bother enacting this law if these losers don't care about getting infected? Let them be complete fools kill each other off over sex. What low life trash who would rather lose their lives than wear protection. I mentioned on another thread that sleaze ball James Deen dose not wear a condom when he dose his sexual routines, and he is furious over this law because he said he refuses to be forced to wear a condom.

Aside from this subject, supposedly James Deen is bisexual as well.

by Anonymousreply 512/12/2012

You are wrong, R6. Marc Wallace infected a few on-set partners with HIV around 2003 or 2004. So did a performer known as Darren James (I think that was his name).

by Anonymousreply 712/12/2012

R6, Exchanging bodily fluids between two people in the same post as the lack of deaths as CHEERLEADING! is beyond ludicrous!

There was once a guy on DL who worked in the porn industry who answered questions about the porn industry just as a long we didn't guess who he was ,and he wanted to remain anonymous. He said many, many people in the porn industry are infected with AIDS,and many are psychologically screwed up. In fact he said he had AIDS but at that time he decided to work as an escort.

by Anonymousreply 812/12/2012

Yeah, R5, he might even be forced to get an actual job. The horror....

by Anonymousreply 912/12/2012

Y'all know that bitch is ugly as hell. He always looks like he smells like dookey and cologne.

by Anonymousreply 1012/12/2012

Someone should've put the final nail in the coffin of Jeremy's porn career at least 20 years ago.

by Anonymousreply 1112/12/2012

It's not just about whether the performers get AIDS. It's about the message they send.

by Anonymousreply 1212/12/2012

No R7, regarding Marc Wallace you are wrong. His HIV announcement occurred in 1998.

by Anonymousreply 1312/12/2012

Great to see the warthog taking a stand

by Anonymousreply 1412/12/2012

Yeah well at least that nail will have a condom on it, to protect against AIDS and tetanus.

by Anonymousreply 1512/12/2012

r14, if you're going to call names, he's the hedgehog, not the warthog.

by Anonymousreply 1612/12/2012

He's a fat pig with an ugly dick.

And "James Deen" is a joke just by virtue of making a nonporn film with that Lohan bitch.

by Anonymousreply 1712/12/2012

I don't understand how a supposedly Liberal state like California thinks it's okay to impose condom usage on people's sex lives. It is up to them whether or not they want to use them. It infringes their privacy and freedom of expression.

by Anonymousreply 1812/12/2012

I hear some of the industry is coming to NY. No laws here.

by Anonymousreply 1912/12/2012

How enforceable is the law? Isn't it just a ballot measure that the public voted on? Is it enforceable?

by Anonymousreply 2012/12/2012

I voted NO on Measure B. To be honest, I don't give a fuck about whether someone wants to fuck with or without condoms, as long as you're a consenting adult. But how will this ever be enforced? Are they going to station a policeman at every porn shoot to monitor the fucking? Set up a task force to rent every single DVD and video stream that is released and check for condoms? It's beyond absurd and is nothing more than "feel good" legislation.

by Anonymousreply 2112/12/2012

" I know of a couple of upscale homes in Studio City that are rented out primarily for porn shoots. "

A COUPLE? Try 25%, dear.

by Anonymousreply 2212/12/2012

[quote]Why did they even bother enacting this law if these losers don't care about getting infected? Let them be complete fools kill each other off over sex. What low life trash who would rather lose their lives than wear protection

It's the customers who don't want them to wear protection

by Anonymousreply 2312/12/2012

R18 It's not a California law, it's an L.A. County law.

by Anonymousreply 2412/12/2012

Seriously, isn't there enough porn in the world to keep everyone masturbating happily for the next several thousand years? We need more?

by Anonymousreply 2512/12/2012

Someone posted a link a few days ago to a porn video with Diesel Washington and some White guy. Diesel gets blown raw and then before he fucks the guy he puts on a condom. Didn't ruin it for me at all. It was different. I'm not used to seeing that but it was still hot and I busted a nut.

Quit yer whining.

by Anonymousreply 2612/12/2012

Free internet porn is killing the industry. Nothing more, nothing less.

by Anonymousreply 2712/12/2012

So, tell me why the voters should support the porn industry.

by Anonymousreply 2812/12/2012

R18, it's the same "liberal" California which voted for Proposition 8.

by Anonymousreply 2912/12/2012

No r29, it is the same CA that has determined that brass house keys are hazardous to your health.

by Anonymousreply 3012/12/2012

Let it die, r27

by Anonymousreply 3112/12/2012

Seriously, let it die, they've already filmed enough porn for any reasonable person. Just collect all you want for free on the internet.

by Anonymousreply 3212/12/2012

[quote]And many porn companies are thinking of pulling up stakes and moving to Vegas. MUCH better tax situation there, plenty of available talent, etc.

Shooting in Vegas is illegal. New Hampshire is the only state besides California where shooting hard core pornography is legal.

[quote]I hear some of the industry is coming to NY. No laws here.

Yes there are, but they aren't enforced.

[quote]I don't understand how a supposedly Liberal state like California thinks it's okay to impose condom usage on people's sex lives. It is up to them whether or not they want to use them. It infringes their privacy and freedom of expression.

No it doesn't. Construction workers have to wear hard hats, stuntmen have to comply with OSHA regulations and have insurance as well as most other industries. The No On Measure B campaign was terribly run and the people who spoke on behalf of it were uninformed idiots (mostly porn industry people).

by Anonymousreply 3312/12/2012

The porn industry and prostitution work hand in hand, so if the L.A. sex industry is broken up over this, it's a big deal. It's probably more of a drain to California's economy to police it than it's worth. Besides, there's no reason in this day and age why porn production needs to be centralized.

by Anonymousreply 3412/12/2012

Ron Jeremy is a dirty man.
