History of the fake Christian religion?

There was a thread last year that charted the development of this fake religion. It explained how the Xtians adopted their pagan ceremonies from pagans that had come before them. Can anyone post some links? TIA!

That started in and around 330 AD, about 300 years after the real Christian religion started.

What's the point in discussing the "origins" of one of the Three Great Abrahamic Sand Religions without going into it about the other two?

I'll sum-Big Mama Judaism spawned two bastards. The three of them together have been the source of every misery man and his natural world have endured for the last several thousand years. Thanks to the shenanigans of their various adherants, we find ourselves at the precipice. Another World War to finish us off once and for all.

The End. No crickets chirping.

I know I'm being of no help at all. Sorry.

I believe it was Nietzsche who said "your spiritual self, your unnatural self". or something like that. Right on, Fred.

Their is nothing "fake" about Judaism or Islam. They are both founded on the spiritual insights of prophets. They both regard God as an undefinable, mystical power, by definition unknown to man. Whether you buy the stories or not, they are relatively straightforward.

Christianity was designed by committee with the goal of appealing to pagans. The original Christians did not think of Jesus as a God. It was the pagans who needed a God to worship that pushed the church into the contortions of the Trinity.

The Jews never sought to convert anyone. The Muslims used old-fashioned conquest. Christianity was the first religion that was market-driven and responded to consumer demand. In the US, it still is a big business enterprise in which individual evangelist pastors market themselves and their views of Jesus. The Catholic and Mainline Protestant churches generally avoid this unseemly commercialism.

R4 the fact that prophets (mentally ill) people created them makes them fake to a lot of us.

Actually Peter said Jesus was God in the new testament.
