Eastern Market in DC

Is there a way to get out of there without spending at least a couple hundred?

by Anonymousreply 1412/09/2012

Boy they must see you coming a mile off.

by Anonymousreply 112/08/2012

Just returned from there and spent just a little over a $100 + drinks.

by Anonymousreply 212/08/2012

Isn't E Market a farmers market -- where on earth did you get drinks?

by Anonymousreply 312/08/2012

What are you buying? Blowjobs in the Metro station restroom?

by Anonymousreply 412/08/2012

The meat, seafood and produce is really good. You'll drop at least one hundred fifty on food.

by Anonymousreply 512/08/2012

There's a lot of crime there, op. Be careful.

I was there many years ago and had really good Cajun food, but as I recall it was quite expensive even then (late 80s, early 90s ??), especially for a farmer's market. I liked the fact that it was close to the subway and didn't need a car. Does anyone know the history of Eastern Market?

by Anonymousreply 712/08/2012

No there is not r6. Troll.

by Anonymousreply 812/08/2012

I lost some rental car keys there about five years ago. Let mek now if they turn up, OK?

by Anonymousreply 912/08/2012

[R6] is wrong. There is not a lot of crime there. There's "a lot" of crime in, say, Trinidad.

by Anonymousreply 1012/08/2012

That area of Capitol Hill is crazy safe.

by Anonymousreply 1112/08/2012

Um, I represent those who get arrested in DC and there is a lot more crime in that area than I am comfortable living with. Don't get lulled into thinking you're not vulnerable.

by Anonymousreply 1212/08/2012

I think you need to be aware of your surroundings and don't think you're immune to crime, but Capitol Hill is a wonderful neighborhood and safe.

by Anonymousreply 1312/09/2012

r6 and r12 are trolls.
