Boy Culture's List of the Hottest Gays of TV

Good list. But #4 should be #1.

by Anonymousreply 3612/24/2012

That's a list of the 50 hottest actors. Did you link the wrong thing, or are you illiterate?

by Anonymousreply 112/04/2012

Whoops!!! Meant Guys. Not Gays. Guys.

by Anonymousreply 212/04/2012

Sorry, I had to stop reading at #8.

by Anonymousreply 312/04/2012

How on earth does a relatively young (fortysomething) guy know so much about TV stars from before he was even born?! (I'm his age btw)

by Anonymousreply 412/04/2012

It's his list. Everyone will have different opinions. One guy that was not on his list that I find very sexy is David Andrew Gregory. He was on General Hospital. I would include Luke Macfarlane as well. Colton Haynes and Matt Bomer would be in my top 10.

by Anonymousreply 512/04/2012

Might argue about omissions or ranking but damn good eclectic list. Enjoyed a lot.

by Anonymousreply 612/04/2012

Where are Michael Pitt, Charlie Hunnam and Wentworth Miller????

by Anonymousreply 712/04/2012

When you are doing these lists inevitably a lot of people will be left off, damn good list thought. It covered an impressive range and some good names, I'm happy.

by Anonymousreply 812/04/2012

I'm not happy that he threw some blacks in at the bottom to give more color to the list. And not main black characters either.

by Anonymousreply 912/04/2012

Damn, Van Williams WAS sex.

by Anonymousreply 1012/04/2012

The last minute attempt to add some diversity was pretty notable R9. Which is silly because there have been plenty of attractive men of color on television.

by Anonymousreply 1112/05/2012

R4, I'm his age too (39) and I knew most of the guys on the list. Reruns in the 80s and the Internet broadened my Hottie knowledge considerably.

by Anonymousreply 1212/05/2012

Who's the blonde guy on top? Those amazing thighs!

by Anonymousreply 1312/05/2012
Where are Michael Pitt, Charlie Hunnam and Wentworth Miller????

Absent due to their "soft" features and lack of chest hair, judging from the other actors selected.

by Anonymousreply 1412/05/2012

r13, that's model/actor Trevor Donovan from the 90210 remake who is #24.

by Anonymousreply 1512/05/2012

Idris Elba should be in the top ten.

Darren Criss? Uh, no.

Adrian Zmed? LOL.

No Denzel? C'mon.

by Anonymousreply 1612/05/2012

Denzel? Like a roach with two of its legs amputated. better John Amos, Taye Diggs, Jesse Martin....

by Anonymousreply 1712/05/2012
[R13], that's model/actor Trevor Donovan from the 90210 remake who is #24.

Thanks! Gotta start watching the 90210 remake on Netflix. ;)

by Anonymousreply 1812/05/2012

Is it me or does that pic of #32 Ryan Kwanten look like he's morphing into Ryan Reynolds?

by Anonymousreply 1912/06/2012

I had a thing for Tim Matheson and the Ricky Nelson bulge, oh my, would not have thought that. Gone too soon. What ever happened to his daughter, Tracy maybe?

by Anonymousreply 2012/06/2012

This list was created by very, very old Queens from the 1970s. Eeeew!

by Anonymousreply 2112/06/2012

Grow up, r21...seriously!

by Anonymousreply 2212/06/2012

I find the list makes more the point of being anti-After Elton or other lists where overzealous fans of current pop culture heartthrobs spend precious time to vote, vote, and vote even more for their male object of fan desire.

by Anonymousreply 2312/06/2012

Current Pop culture is garbage, but the guys sure look good.

The Guys they had 40 years ago, never looked good in the first place!!! I think most of them have died of old age by now.

by Anonymousreply 2412/06/2012

Oh, stop it.. r24.

by Anonymousreply 2512/06/2012
The Guys they had 40 years ago, never looked good in the first place!!! I think most of them have died of old age by now.

The guys looked good back in the days. Every hot guy from last decade (or century) and fashion trend looks dated and old when you see it through the eyes of what's hot and good looking [bold]now[/bold].

by Anonymousreply 2612/06/2012

I protest the exclusion of Patrick Duffy.

by Anonymousreply 2712/06/2012

Thanks for the link and the (non-ageist) positive and negative feedback.

On race: I didn't "throw" anyone in for diversity's sake; it's my personal list. If PEOPLE had a list with 15% men of color and you didn't think that was enough, more power to ya. But if one individual has a personal list of who turns him on and you don't think that 15% (or whatever % it turned out to be) is enough, what are you going to do—place his cock under citizen's arrest?

My #51 to #100 list is up now, linked in this post. Thank you again for the input. Appreciate it. (Patrick Duffy appears.)

PS Movie guys are next, which is where Denzel Washington, George Clooney, etc., will be. Please feel free to jog my memory with any you think I'd be a fool to leave out.

by Anonymousreply 2812/06/2012

The first man on TV I knew I was attracted to was Gil Gerard as Buck Rogers in the 21st Century.

Oh my, the chest hair - the chest itself! His arms and definitely his ass wrapped in a spandex space suit.

What was is about TV that at one time it seemed that so many actors had hairy chests on display? Lee Majors (as Heath or Steve)... Lee Horsely from some show on ABC shot I think in Vegas... of course Mr. Gerard... and Tom Selleck (the man proudly displayed a rug of hair - sweet!).

Here on DL at some point a pic of Gil was posted and he was obese, but ah, the memories of Buck Rogers.

by Anonymousreply 2912/06/2012
I protest the exclusion of Patrick Duffy.

You and me both. He SO could have gotten it back then.

by Anonymousreply 3012/06/2012
(Patrick Duffy appears.)

Thank you Mr. Matthew!

by Anonymousreply 3112/06/2012

Great list, Matthew (R28)! The best I've ever seen. (Even if I disagree with some - okay, many - selections and placements). This was a lot of work, but as work goes cataloging hot men ain't bad I guess.

by Anonymousreply 3212/16/2012

Great work Matthew. Thanks. But Bobby Conrad should be #1, if not just for those tight, tight pants.

by Anonymousreply 3312/16/2012

50-100 of his list

by Anonymousreply 3412/16/2012

Thanks, everyone. Here is the first part of the movies list.

by Anonymousreply 3512/24/2012

#49 should be a LOT higher!
