Famous Currently Living Italian-Americans
These people are either full-blooded Italians, or have some Italian in them (no sexually). Who's missing?

Why are we doing this, OP?
|by Anonymous||reply 2||12/04/2012|
I guess we can't even include the pope
|by Anonymous||reply 3||12/04/2012|
(I'm assuming, based on their faux surnames and their appearance.)
|by Anonymous||reply 5||12/04/2012|
OP managed to include pretty much all the ugly ones. I guess the pretty ones never get to be famous. They are just used for their bodies and tossed aside like spoiled produce!
|by Anonymous||reply 6||12/04/2012|
Paula Prentiss was half Sicilian.
Her actual last name was Ragusa and she changed it when she was discovered at Northwestern University by a talent scout who wanted new contract players. This same talent scout cast her in "Where The Boys Are."
Her stage name stems from the movie "Nora Prentiss."

Actually I was going to say no cares about wops, dagos or guineas but I thought that might be a tad rude.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||12/04/2012|
R7 I believe she still is, unless she passed away in the last 30 seconds.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||12/04/2012|

Prince (the musician) had an African-American father and an Italian-American mother.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||12/04/2012|
So he said, R26. That's come into doubt.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||12/04/2012|
Actually, that's not true, R26. He claimed that when he was trying to cross over to white audiences. He cast a black man and Greek woman as his parents in Purple Rain. However, his parents were both light-skinned blacks. He later embraced his "blackness" around the same time he became a Jehovah's Witness.
I'm a long-time follower of Prince and his lies and hypocrisy. I used to think he was the sexiest thing ever when he was younger, but he his is a horrid human being.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||12/04/2012|
At one point Prince claimed to be half Mexican. I always felt he had alot of self hate issues.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||12/04/2012|
Snooki is not Italian. She is of Chilean descent adopted by Italian Americans.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||12/04/2012|
It would be more interesting to have a thread naming some famous black Jews.

|by Anonymous||reply 45||12/04/2012|
R43 I think you missed the "currently living" part.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||12/04/2012|
Italian-Americans are much like Irish-Americans in that Italian-Americans - in the last 50 years or so at least - have been much more impressive than plain old Italians.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||12/04/2012|
