Yum. When you look in the dictionary, that is the picture that you see next to 'Blow Jobs'.

by Anonymousreply 212/03/2012

Is Ashton going to channel Steve's slight lisp of certain words?

by Anonymousreply 312/03/2012

I think he looks great. I'd sniff those gold toe socks for sure!

I find him attractive, very attractive, but then I remember he used to eat 50 year old pussy and I can't get it out of my mind. I wouldn't touch him period.

by Anonymousreply 612/03/2012

He looks fat in the face.

by Anonymousreply 712/03/2012

Well, Ashton is a cunt, and so was Steve, so this will work out nicely for both of them.

by Anonymousreply 812/03/2012

I only want to see this because the guy who voices Finn on Adventure Time is in it.

by Anonymousreply 912/04/2012

He actually does favor the late Steve Jobs to a fair degree.

Isn't there to be another film which is more nerd-centric? I thought I read that somewhere.

by Anonymousreply 1012/04/2012

Has he ever thought about cutting that mop into something more grown up and stylish?

I tried watching a movie (Valentine's Day) with him in it yesterday and turned it off after 30 minutes. He just doesn't look like a man to me much less a leading man. Of course the whole movie and cast blew chunks.

by Anonymousreply 1112/04/2012

Lucille Ball was going to go after that role, but Gary talked her out of it.

by Anonymousreply 1212/04/2012

Same level of narcissism. Smart casting.

Um, R11? He grew his "mop" merely for the role. Before it he had his hair nicely trim and parted, with no bangs.

Makes me think of Lindsay in Liz and Dick. A train wreck of an autobio.

...except it's good enough to have been selected for a Sundance premiere, not a low-budget TV movie for Lifetime.

by Anonymousreply 1612/04/2012

How doesn't he look like a man, R11?

by Anonymousreply 1712/04/2012

He really does resemble Jobs closely.

Too bad he can't act.

by Anonymousreply 1812/04/2012

He looks like a little boy to me R17. It's that ridiculous mop of hair.

by Anonymousreply 1912/04/2012

Thank you, R19/R11.

by Anonymousreply 2012/04/2012

Why do they hate Steve Jobs so much?

by Anonymousreply 2112/04/2012

Steve may have been a horrible human being, but he was a visionary. It's so wrong the he should be played by a hapless moron like Ashton. They've should've picked an unknown actor who could've made Steve his own.

by Anonymousreply 2212/04/2012

I saw this film at Sundance last week. Ashton was actually great in it. I think the film will do really well. I think Steve Jobs had a Narcissistic Personality Disorder or Borderline. Definitely off.

by Anonymousreply 2302/01/2013

I saw it yesterday, and it's a lot better than I expected. Ashton is really good as Steve.

There was a screening in SF for a bunch of old Apple people who are portrayed in the movie, and everyone thought Ashton really captured Steve's walk and talk, and intensity.

Ashton showed up at the screening. He was at MacWorld earlier in the day. He was humble and gracious, and happy to talk to everyone.
