WTF were they thinking? It's terrible. It looks like Superman got arrested for going to the wrong bar.
New "Man of Steel" poster!

If they really want people to see the film, it should be a poster of Cavill's ass not his front.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||12/03/2012|
Eh. It's not that bad.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||12/03/2012|
Is this from that new "Superman Visists The Mole Men" movie?
|by Anonymous||reply 3||12/03/2012|
I agree with R2; not that bad. Cavill is hot.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||12/03/2012|
I'm still waiting for a big screen Krypto movie.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||12/03/2012|
It looks like it's from a storyline going on halfway through.
This is a relaunch, no?
|by Anonymous||reply 6||12/03/2012|
How exactly does one "arrest" Superman, who could break free of cuffs and fly away in the blink of an eye? I suppose the shackles could incorporate green Kryptonite.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||12/03/2012|
Not iconic but Henry does look hot.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||12/03/2012|
What? The Superman suit now has built in ab muscles like the Bat suit?
|by Anonymous||reply 9||12/04/2012|
R9, perhaps those are Cavill's abs?
|by Anonymous||reply 10||12/04/2012|
Look at the poster, r10. Do those look like human abs?
|by Anonymous||reply 11||12/04/2012|
No, R11, but we're discussing Henry Cavill not a mere human.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||12/04/2012|
What's so terrible about it, OP?
|by Anonymous||reply 13||12/04/2012|
I believe, in the history of the comics, Superman has allowed himself to be arrested and subjected to the criminal justice system out of a sense of justice and a belief in human society, even though he could obviously break free at any point. It is part of Superman's faith in human society and his attempt to serve as a steward, rather than savior, of it.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||12/04/2012|
Are they ever going to release this piece of shit? It was shot two years ago and don't give the CGI takes time excuse.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||12/04/2012|
It's probably a trick of Mr. Mxyzptlk.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||12/04/2012|
Well, if Superman is getting arrested in this movie, I hope there's the opportunity for Viola or Octavia or Whoopi or Alfre to play the part of the sassy black female judge!
"Counsel, approach the bench!"
|by Anonymous||reply 17||12/04/2012|
Is this going to be the fourteenth Superman origin story, or are they going to try to do something interesting with it?
|by Anonymous||reply 18||12/04/2012|
There was only one Superman origin movie, you idiot. Are you thinking of Batman or Spider-Man?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||12/05/2012|
No Brandon Routh, no Superman Move for me. Sorry.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||12/05/2012|
"Don't you be using that X-ray Vision to look beneath my robe!"
|by Anonymous||reply 21||12/05/2012|
"Well, after seeing how he's dressed in MY courtroom, I'll tell you one thing, counselor--you're 'Super' man ain't black." ***Bangs gavel.*** "Court is recessed until noon tomorrow!"
|by Anonymous||reply 22||12/05/2012|
They filmed that thing over a year ago in my hometown. Don't know why it's taking so damn long to release.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||12/05/2012|
"Don't know why it's taking so damn long to release."
I know! It's just some tiny little indie film! It's not like they need to add special effects or an original orchestral score or anything!
|by Anonymous||reply 24||12/05/2012|
For two years, R24?
|by Anonymous||reply 25||12/05/2012|
It was originally supposed to be released this month but it was pushed back to Summer.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||12/05/2012|
When the hell are we gonna get Bizarro Superman and a visit to the bottle city of Kandor?? I mean, really.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||12/05/2012|
Remember, it's from the man who brought you "Watchmen" and "Sucker Punch".
