Shun Israel. It doesn't want peace. It only wants to perpetuate trouble in the world.

Israel Ambassador Recall Considered By UK, France Over Israeli Settlements

Germany urged Israel to refrain from expanding settlements and Russia said it viewed plans to put more new homes in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem with serious concern.

Israel has tried. Israel went through the Oslo Accords and turned over control of some parts of the West Bank to the Palestinian Authority and shared control of other parts of the West Bank. In return Arafat refused to finalize the agreement and instead launched the second Intifada with a wave of bombings in buses and restaurants in Israel. Israel withdrew form Gaza and was rewarded with increased rocket fire. The PA demanded a halt to new construction within settlements before resuming negotiations. Israel agreed and in return Abbas would not negotiate. Olmert made a generous settlement offer to Abbas and Abbas could not be bothered to respond. And now Abbas has sought and won recognition of a Palestinian state outside negotiations with Israel, which is a violation of the Oslo Accords. The Palestinians demanded recognition of their state, but still refuse to recognize the Jewish state of Israel.

And you claim Israel doesn't want peace? It's the Palestinian leaders who don't want peace.
