Kiwi fruit sure is an effective laxative.

I have to limit myself to one kiwi a day. I ate three on Saturday and spent the day running to the john for a good couple of hours. I like Kiwi, but that's the first time I over indulged.

Just mention this for those who might like a little natural help sprucing up their hind-cootch before heading out for the weakend olympics.

Not likely the kiwi fruit unless you have a lack of fiber in your diet. If so, it is necessary for you to increase your consumption of fruits and vegetables

Apparently it causes diarrhea of the brain, too, OP.

Kiwi doesn't do that to me, but yuzu fruit in even small amounts sure does.

I tried using Kiwi as a laxative, but their shape and that scratchy skin made the insertion rather intense and unpleasant.

Oranges always do the trick for me. If I eat a couple of oranges they shoot right through me like Drano.

People respond differently. A friend mentioned apple juice as "liquid Ex-Lax" recently and was met with blank looks. It never had that effect on me.

Prune juice is the only juice that REALLY WORKS. Other fruits or juices might be a gastrointestinal irritant for some, but prune juice usually works for everybody.

Too much kiwi gives me some kind of 'cotton mouth' syndrome.

Same with pineapple

Kiwi is good for you. Keep eating....

Where I live they charge 75¢ for EACH kiwi fruit.

It'd be cheaper to fly to New Zealand and go to a gay bar.

by Anonymousreply 1211/27/2012

Kiwi has no impact on me.

by Anonymousreply 1311/27/2012

High amounts of vitamin c can cause a laxative effect.

by Anonymousreply 1411/27/2012

Three kiwi fruit has you running to the bathroom? Wow, you really do have a weak end.

by Anonymousreply 1511/27/2012

Anti-inflamatories constipate me and I hate industrial laxatives but, thank the Lord, kiwis do the trick.

by Anonymousreply 1609/22/2014

Live fast, die young, OP.

by Anonymousreply 1709/22/2014

I eat Kiwi and drink prune juice no obvious effects. Sound like you have issues OP.

by Anonymousreply 1809/22/2014

I have ulcerative colitis and kiwi helps me have normal bowel movements.

by Anonymousreply 1912/30/2014

Kiwi, huh? On my list. Apple CIDER as opposed to apple JUICE is a lovely "smoother-outer." Must be the fact that the former still has active enzymes, as opposed to the cooked juice. A small glass each day, plus plenty of water, and everything's fine.

Is 'weakened' Olympics a deliberate pun?

by Anonymousreply 2112/30/2014

What is the best thing to take so you can have one big bm in the morning and clean everything out?

by Anonymousreply 2312/30/2014

Kiwi has no impact on me, I can eat multiple with no issue.

by Anonymousreply 2412/30/2014

Prune juice has no impact either.

by Anonymousreply 2512/30/2014

"Weakend Olympics" is fucking hilarious.

It's an excellent anti-aging mask.

by Anonymousreply 2712/30/2014

Milk has that effect on me. Fruit and hole functions go well together, in my experience.

by Anonymousreply 2812/30/2014

R23, some lemon juice in a small glass of warm water works for me.

by Anonymousreply 2912/30/2014
