He's Teddy Roosevelt's great-great grandson, and he's really cute. Is he gay?
Kermit "Kim" Roosevelt, III: Is he a sistah?
|by Anonymous||reply 55||08/09/2015|
He wrote this opinion piece on same sex marriage last year:
|by Anonymous||reply 1||11/24/2012|
I found his FB page. He's holding a little girl in his profile pic, but he totally has gay face. He's also a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Also among his "liked" pages are New York Estate Jewelry and Real Housewives of Hinsdale. The rest of it looks like boring law stuff.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||11/24/2012|
I doubt he's gay. Look at his hair and baggy shirt.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||11/24/2012|
Know him; doubt it.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||11/24/2012|
R4, tell us more. How do you know him? I've found some other pics of him, and the gay face is unmistakable.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||11/24/2012|
His faculty page:
|by Anonymous||reply 6||11/24/2012|
I know two other great-grand-children, they speak highly of him.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||11/24/2012|
I think he may be straight too. It's funny how often you can have these sexual orientation 'bizarro' pairs, though - he's the straight Steve Kornacki (or Steve is the gay Kermit Roosevelt).
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/24/2012|
Who cares if he's got gay?
With a name like Kermit, he's probably just relieved not to have greenface.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/25/2012|
Erm, that was supposed to read "gayface". I wish there were a preview function!
|by Anonymous||reply 10||11/25/2012|
Would you guys say he has BDF?
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/25/2012|
since when could "sistah" refer to a 'mo instead of only a black woman?
|by Anonymous||reply 12||11/25/2012|
Since always, 'mo troll.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||11/25/2012|
What about FDR's descendants? Any known sistahs on that side of the Roosevelt tree?
|by Anonymous||reply 14||11/25/2012|
Still very funny ("LOL") r9!!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 15||11/25/2012|
[quote]he's really cute
And you're really blind.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||11/25/2012|
I found a YT video of him debating gay marriage. I'm detecting a lisp. Gay voice?
And R16, he's fucking adorable. Cuter than Nate Silver, who is also adorable.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/25/2012|
The guy in the pic at OP's link is NOT "adorable".
|by Anonymous||reply 18||11/25/2012|
Whatever. I certainly wouldn't kick him out of bed.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||11/25/2012|
He speaks 42 minutes into this long-ass roundtable about Justice John Paul Stevens. He appears to be wearing a wedding ring, but he still seems kinda fey.
I want to eat him up.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||11/25/2012|
Now that I've seen more of him, I'd say he's got definite BDF. And everyone knows Teddy carried a big stick.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/25/2012|
Oooh, he wrote a novel! It's called In the Shadow of the Law. I wonder if it's any good?
|by Anonymous||reply 22||11/25/2012|
Apparently he plays something called squash, which is a game vaguely resembling racquet ball. Wikipedia says it's been described as "jet-propelled chess."
He may or may not be gay, but I think at this point we can definitely classify him as a huge dork.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||11/25/2012|
Here's his Amazon author page. Another adorkable photo.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||11/25/2012|
Bump for more hot Kermit Roosevelt gossip.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||11/25/2012|
Definitely has the adorkability thing going.
I like this quote from the NYT article about FDR and Eleanor's descendents:
[quote] "One thing I learned on my father's knee is when you get to a point in life where you've worked hard and gotten yours, we have an absolute obligation to help somebody else get theirs," he said.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||11/25/2012|
Kermit is a decsendant of Teddy Roosevelt, not FDR.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||11/25/2012|
R27, but FDR was a much removed cousin of Teddy; also, Eleanor was Teddy's niece.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||11/25/2012|
Seriously, y'all. After looking at the other pics and video clips I posted, what do you think? Gay? BDF? What's the verdict?
|by Anonymous||reply 29||11/25/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 30||12/02/2012|
I listen to the voice on the debate video.....gay, gay, gay!!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 31||12/02/2012|
Bump for more hot Roosevelt discussion.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||01/01/2013|
I'm the biggest geek/nerd/dork fan out there, but for some reason I'm not hot over him. He reminds of a cross between the porn actor Seth Dickens and James Spader. The tone of the article leads me to believe he's straight.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||01/01/2013|
Big Bullmoose party supporter.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||01/01/2013|
It may be privileged elite snob accent. His law review articles are very mainstream - nothing avant garde about them, and nothing about civil rights or sexual issues. I'm sure he had some guy sex at his private high school, but he's worked the cute thing and his pedigree to get into some great situations.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||01/01/2013|
definitely cute; quite doable (in my mind), and, yes, BDF.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||01/01/2013|
Damn, Teddy had some strong genes. Four generations later, and Kermit has his features.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||01/01/2013|
|by Anonymous||reply 38||09/28/2014|
I'm friends with one of his ex-students, and he says he doesn't think Kermit is gay. I'm about 30 pages into "In the Shadow of the Law," and I'm bored. If it doesn't pick up in another 20, I'm going to give up on it.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||09/28/2014|
[quote]"One thing I learned on my father's knee is when you get to a point in life where you've worked hard and gotten yours, we have an absolute obligation to help somebody else get theirs,"
Can't be gay. Otherwise his ad would have included height/weight proportionate.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||09/28/2014|
[all posts by tedious, racist idiot removed.]
|by Anonymous||reply 41||09/28/2014|
I made it to page 95. That's it. It might be an interesting read if you're already a lawyer, but I'm not. I never wanted to be one.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||09/28/2014|
I think hes sexy. And knowing hes smart makes him even sexier.
|by Anonymous||reply 43||09/28/2014|
My Kermie is NOT gay!
|by Anonymous||reply 44||09/28/2014|
You ass holes he was the president of the CIA and then became Vice President for the Middle Eastern Oil Company!😠
|by Anonymous||reply 45||05/27/2015|
Kermit Roosevelt owns a house in Center City Philadelphia with a woman named Felicia Lewis. I assume they are a couple. She is probably the same person who is an infectious disease physician.....
Don't think he is gay. The house, btw, is valued at $1.4 million.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||05/27/2015|
|by Anonymous||reply 47||05/27/2015|
I'm surprised he's a Democrat considering he descended through the Republican line of Roosevelts.
|by Anonymous||reply 48||05/27/2015|
Did Teddy Roosevelt have some dominant genes, or what? Kermit is his great-great grandson and still has a striking resemblance, despite being four generations removed!
|by Anonymous||reply 49||05/27/2015|
Link is his comments and ratings at rate my professor.
One comment "I think he gets along with the ladies, but he was completely useless to me."
|by Anonymous||reply 50||05/27/2015|
Are there ANY gay Roosevelts!
|by Anonymous||reply 51||07/23/2015|
We need another Roosevelt president. Are they all out of politics now?
|by Anonymous||reply 52||07/23/2015|
Is that his real name.?
|by Anonymous||reply 53||07/23/2015|
Any other presidential families we can talk about, the Adams or the Harrisons? The Kennedys are overdone.
|by Anonymous||reply 54||07/23/2015|
It is impressive that he bears any resemblance to his great grandpa, given that he's only got 1/8th of Teddy's DNA. Kermit III's face is longer and nose is more sharply defined, both things that make him more appealing than his ancestor. Same ears and similar hairline, bone structure, eyes and eyebrows (not to mention taste in glasses).
