Let's face it: she's hip, she's kewl, she's NOW! Will she become a real powerbroker in the Republican Party in terms of getting them to back off on the gay bashing?
The S E Cupp Appreciation Thread
|by MSNBC guy||reply 94||06/21/2014|
Hope you're not waiting for a lot of agreement on this, OP.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 1||11/19/2012|
This will be a very short thread

She's a cunt
|by MSNBC guy||reply 5||11/19/2012|
You can't polish a turd. Even by putting a pair of hipster glasses on it.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 6||11/19/2012|
She reminds me of the "Cool Republican" VJ Kennedy on MTV years ago. She's not going to happen either. She's got a face for radio too. Fuck that GOP cunt.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 7||11/19/2012|
I watched her be an absolute bitch to Sister Simone Campbell (the Nuns on the Bus lady) on MSNBC for no reason. No thanks.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 8||11/19/2012|
How was she a "bitch" exactly? Did she outright say (Coulter-like), "Shut up, stay home and just pray all day long!"
|by MSNBC guy||reply 9||11/19/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 10||11/19/2012|
I don't know this person. Is this the new Ann Coulter?
|by MSNBC guy||reply 12||11/19/2012|
There's nothing the republican party can offer anyone with a brain.
The only way they can expand is to lure in illiterates based on ignorance and fear. Kind of how the catholic church works.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 14||11/19/2012|
Can't stand her. You can't be smart and be a Republican. You can only be repulsive.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 15||11/19/2012|
I disagree strongly with many of her opinions but she's the kind of person who could give the Republican party a very good name. And, as Rachel Maddow says, the country would be better off with two reasonable parties.... not that that's likely to happen anytime soon.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 16||11/19/2012|
MSNBC must pay really well if Cupp can afford to pay $18
|by MSNBC guy||reply 17||11/19/2012|
She's an atheist.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 18||11/19/2012|
She says she's an atheist, but somehow every position she takes backs up the Christian nutbags.

Cupp vs. Sister Simone
|by MSNBC guy||reply 21||11/19/2012|
All she has is E cups.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 22||11/19/2012|
I think she and Toure read DL. It takes guts to read all the negative things people say about them. That said, I can't stand either one of them and think The Cycle would be a better show if they were replaced.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 23||11/19/2012|
Funny you mention Toure, r23. He is very similar to her. He's a black, male, bloviating pseudo intellectual. She's a white, female, bloviating pseudo intellectual.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 24||11/19/2012|
Toure must be pretentious -only Cher can have 1 name!
|by MSNBC guy||reply 25||11/19/2012|
Ring wing scum is right wing scum.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 26||11/19/2012|
Neither of them are bloviating. Quit exaggerating. I think she has some interesting ideas, not that I agree with them. She alternates from being interesting to having some pretty pedestrian ideas.
She's actually quite pretty, but she does seem quite young at times. I watched her on Morning Joe the other day and she loved playing with the Big Boys. On her own show the same day, she was really rude to her co-hosts. It looked like she was feeling very self-important to be on another show.
I think she also exaggerates in her self-promotion. In her bios, she states that she danced with 2 different ballet companies. Then she told Brian Lamb that she stopped dancing at age 18, because she decided to go to college, but she had danced with these companies for 5 years. No way she was dancing professionally at age 13. Plus, she's 5'11" so she's too tall to be a professional ballerina. She probably took intensive classes connected with these companies, but she clearly didn't make the cut and seems to be disingenuous about it. It makes you wonder what else she is less-than-honest about.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 27||11/19/2012|
She's an idiot. An atheist that supports Christian sharia? Sure.
See her appearance on the Christian Jihadist Network.
My favorite line (from the host): "Christians are the only group in America that you can just take potshots at."
Who will rescue the poor, afflicted Christians?
|by MSNBC guy||reply 29||11/20/2012|
The Bore Compleat.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 30||11/20/2012|
[R27] Krystal is on Lawrence O'Donnell's show all the time (usually with Ari Melber), and Rachel has Steve as a guest every so often, so why would Mizz Cupp be "more important"? I've never seen Toure anywhere else; I neither like nor dislike him, he's just ... there.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 31||11/20/2012|
Go fuck yourself, r28. I didn't say anything about her being rude. I just posted the link because I wanted to see what r8 was talking about. I don't think Cupp was terribly rude, but she sure as hell proved that she bases her arguments on approved Republican talking points rather than facts. The nun handed her her ass. You can't talk about poverty without addressing stagnant wages and minimum wage, which is strictly off-limits in the Republican party. Watch her completely avoid the issue and cling to her "welfare creates poverty" trope.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 32||11/20/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 34||11/20/2012|
Yes, r33. Won't someone think of the poor businesses? People need to make a living wage. It's either going to be by working for a minimum wage that keeps pace with the cost of living and inflation, or it's going to be through food stamps and other social programs.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 35||11/20/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 36||11/20/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 37||11/20/2012|
Cupp is not pretty, Krystal Ball is. And Krystal is a lot smarter.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 38||11/20/2012|
R31, it was the way she acted that same day on her own show-shouting over the others, interrupting them, acting impatient with them. I've never seen her or them act that way before.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 39||11/20/2012|
She's so stupid and her voice is horrific. You can have her.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 40||11/20/2012|
SE Cupp is another in a long line of self-promoting idiots who has found a niche that for the moment suits her well. She's not smart enough, nor attractive enough, nor interesting enough, to last. Thank God.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 41||11/20/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 42||11/20/2012|
She seems like a smelly little coke whore.

Melissa Harris-Perry: "Why white people should feel perpetually guilty"
|by MSNBC guy||reply 44||11/20/2012|
SE Cupp becoming a "real powerbroker" in the Republican Party?
Have you lost your fucking mind?
A) She's stupid. Did you see her get her ass handed to her on Maher? She can't hold up her end of an argument.
B) Republicans hate women and do not respect their authority. There are no female powerbrokers among Republicans. Remember "Woman Up" among the "Young Guns" recently? Please.
C)She's openly atheist. They may want to back off from the jesusfreaks a bit but they aren't going that far. No one who is openly atheist can be anything but another one of their tokens.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 45||11/20/2012|
The comparison with MTV's Kennedy from way back is apt.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 46||11/20/2012|
Did you see her get her ass handed to her on Maher?
Except, you can show the same clip to Republicans and they'll say, "She totally destroyed Bill Maher with her logic and command of the facts."
It's like Rashomon.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 47||11/20/2012|
But R45, I understand she's open to ditching the atheism ... maybe.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 48||11/20/2012|
Did anyone see Bill Maher last week? David Frum and Random Fat Latina were doing their imitations of reasonable republicans UNTIL Maher mentioned that the GOP was trying too hard to make Benghazi happen. The two of them then exploded into GOP talking points, ranting and raving like every other GOP douche.
They've all gotten the memo. Go apeshit over Benghazi.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 49||11/20/2012|
Random Fat Latina?
|by MSNBC guy||reply 50||11/20/2012|
This is the one Stephanie Miller calls Sippy Cup.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 51||11/20/2012|
I should be more specific. I have no idea who she was. She just kept going on and on about being a Latina Republican. And she was fat. She was Fat Random [italic] Republican [/italic] Latina.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 52||11/20/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 53||11/20/2012|
S.E. stands for "Shit Eater".
|by MSNBC guy||reply 55||11/20/2012|
She's positioned herself very well in terms of her financial future. Republicans are desperate for any woman who can put a sentence together. She is atheist, but says she wants to believe and she has a master's in religious studies. She's engaged to the chief of staff for Raul Labrador. Her fiance used to be the lobbyist for the NRA. She's trying to make it into the top 3% asap.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 56||11/20/2012|
It's interesting that both Raul Labrador (a Republican congressman from Idaho) and Marco Rubio became Mormons when their immigrant families moved to Las Vegas in the early 1980s.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 57||11/20/2012|
Marco Rubio is a Mormon from Las Vegas???
|by MSNBC guy||reply 58||11/20/2012|
The FRRL was taken to task by Maher when she threw Romney under the bus. (see r52's post) Apparently she was a regular on CNN and was an ardent Romney supporter and surrogate. FAT and two faced. Sounds like a typical Republican talking head. Michael Moore had his way with the both of them. And he had fun doing it.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 59||11/20/2012|
The Mormons did a huge outreach on Latinos. Especially Mexicans and Central Americans. The creepy polygamist types have compounds down there. They call the latinos "Laminites" like they do the Native Americans. Fucking weirdos.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 60||11/20/2012|
"She is a co-host on MSNBC's waykewl new program The Cycle at 3PM Eastern weekdays, as well as appearing on other programs like Morning Joe and Bill Maher as a guest."
"Waykewl"? What are you TWELVE?
If this isn't a shill post, I don't know what is. It's so dumb, it's possibly Jizz Cupp herself posting!
Stop trying to make this grating annoying fug bitch happen. Who the hell on DL would be interested anyway?!!
|by MSNBC guy||reply 61||11/20/2012|
She just kept going on and on about being a Latina Republican. And she was fat. She was Fat Random Republican Latina.
That's Ana Navarro of CNN.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 62||11/21/2012|
She was still a fat random Latina, and she and Frum jumped all over Benghazi with the Republican talking points so fast your head would spin.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 63||11/21/2012|
"Waykewl" was a bit of a joke, R61.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 64||11/21/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 65||11/21/2012|
SE Cupp-that sounds like a bra size.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 66||11/21/2012|
That is so true, r66.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 67||11/21/2012|
So I'm working on some school stuff, and have The Cycle on in the background. I've been listening but not watching. I suddenly realize that the discussion has been much too cogent and balanced, and then the absence of a unbearably shrill voice contending everything.
It looks like Miss Cupp is still on Thanksgiving vacation.
This show works so much better without her. Today at least, her token replacement is nowhere near as annoying.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 68||11/26/2012|
She makes that makeup mistake a lot of women wearing glasses do--she does dark, heavy mascara and liner, making her eyes look like small, dirty smears through the lens. It gives off a whorish cake-face look, like Sarah Palin.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 69||11/29/2012|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 70||11/30/2012|
I strongly object to this Cupp's show.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 71||11/30/2012|
Sippy Cup Bump
|by MSNBC guy||reply 72||11/30/2012|
I'd like to punch her repeatedly.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 73||11/30/2012|
Her voice is annoying.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 74||11/30/2012|
SE Cupp in Blackface. That took longer than I expected!
|by MSNBC guy||reply 75||12/04/2012|
It took me a bit to realize that was a hunting jacket -- I thought at first it was another of her Mennonite Prostitute outfits.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 76||12/04/2012|
Her voice is perfect for silent film.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 77||01/20/2013|
Well!!! Is she a gay icon yet???
|by MSNBC guy||reply 78||02/17/2013|
She is blazin hot. Gives me a boner when she gets riled up.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 79||10/06/2013|
What the fuck is a 'south-east cup'?
Seriously, I have no idea what this thread is about.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 80||10/06/2013|
Insipid and unpleasant.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 81||10/07/2013|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 82||11/02/2013|
She is a vile cunt.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 83||11/02/2013|
she is hot
|by MSNBC guy||reply 84||01/25/2014|
To coin a word, she's "vile-ictic."
|by MSNBC guy||reply 85||01/25/2014|
I heard she got into with Bill Nye today
|by MSNBC guy||reply 86||05/07/2014|
|by MSNBC guy||reply 87||05/07/2014|
I hate this obnoxious, self satisfied harpy with a wild passion. Her smugness really drives me over the edge.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 88||05/07/2014|
She's a liar, too.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 89||05/07/2014|
I heard she got into with Bill Nye today
As if I didn't have ENOUGH reasons to hate that fucking cunt.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 90||05/07/2014|
OP = S.E.Cupp.
Why, hello, S.E.
The "she's hip, she's kewl," gave you away. No one else would say that.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 91||05/07/2014|
She's currently incubating a future GOP crotch dropping.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 92||06/21/2014|
S E is an Atheist! We will use her only up to a certain point and then ditch her.
|by MSNBC guy||reply 93||06/21/2014|
She sounds as if she gargles with Drano. Her voice is incredibly grating. Worse than chalk on a blackboard. Combine that voice with repetitious GOP rants and you've got one extremely annoying human being.
It's sad that the news media keeps forcing these types of people on the public. Years ago TV journalists weren't as in-your-face and controversial, basically for the sake of ratings.
I blame reality TV for the advert of these types of TV journalists. People like this annoying woman seem to be more about ratings and other nonsense, than actual reporting, journalism and providing real and valid information.
Even if it's the other political party they stand for, why must they be so hateful and grating? Because it's all about ratings, it becomes a circus show rather than actual news.
There have always been GOP siding TV journalists in the past, never have they been this petty and juvenile. Not to mention, they reported actual facts!
|by MSNBC guy||reply 94||06/21/2014|
