Will they do Diane Sawyer? Karl and Megyn? Michele Bachmann?
Any Predictions for Tonight's SNL?

Can someone please make this into a thread? It's hilarious DL gold, the jokes will just write themselves, people:
South African arrested with 'nephew's genitals in his wallet'
|by Anonymous||reply 1||11/10/2012|
There's a 100% chance it will suck, OP.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||11/10/2012|
I predict they'll make fun of Fox News' election night walk down the hall to the pollsters. Anne H. Will make a long walk through the SNL halls to confront Lorne Michaels or something similar.

I predict there will be a terrible vocalist 'singing' two songs that sound nearly identical to each other.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||11/10/2012|
Taran will be playing Nate Silver during update.

Have you got change for a left testy?
|by Anonymous||reply 6||11/10/2012|
R6, save it for the thread :)

I'd love to see a skit where Rove has to explain to his fat cat donors where their $300 million went.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/10/2012|
You will smile once!

Kate McKinnon as drunk Diane Sawyer...or as Victoria Jackson
|by Anonymous||reply 10||11/10/2012|
Oh, I HOPE they go after Victoria Jackson.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/10/2012|
Do they ever make fun of one of their own alumni?
Separate question...Did the Victoria Jackson thing saturate pop culture enough that people would know what they are satirizing? I only know about it from reading in on DL.

That was my thought as well. If they "do" her, a lot of viewers won't know what's going on and it will give her more publicity for her rantings.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||11/10/2012|
The only time SNL has ever made fun of one of their alums was when Jay Pharaoh did an impression of Eddie Murphy.
Kate McKinnon will do Diane - they won't bother with Victoria (why give her any more attention?)

How many threads have a request for the 'genitals in wallet' story? very creepy.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||11/10/2012|
They're going to mock Fox News (especially Karl Rove's) reaction. I think they're also going to mock the MSNBC team, although I don't think they'd be able to milk it as much(their reactions were pretty muted. Rachel was professional she announced that Ohio went for Obama).
They might also give us a behind-scene at the Romney campaign as delusionally giddy until the very end.

Jadon Sudeikis has to do Mitt.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/10/2012|
Jason looks like he lost weight -- trim and fit.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||11/10/2012|
Opening was not good.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||11/10/2012|
Why is her hair still short?
|by Anonymous||reply 20||11/10/2012|
The opening was very weak, compared to their usual political parodies. Mitt drinks a lot of milk to drown his sorrows because he's Mormon. That's the best they could come up with on election week?
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/10/2012|
I thought Jason and Taran had good singing voices for non-professionals.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||11/10/2012|
Who was the guy standing to her right? Not the guy with the outfit, but the guy in the suit. He is rather bulgy down there...
|by Anonymous||reply 23||11/10/2012|
Girlfriends Talk Show was cute.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||11/10/2012|
Mokkiki does the slop swish...lol
|by Anonymous||reply 25||11/10/2012|
this homeland sketch is FUNNY. anne hathaway was pretty brilliant.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||11/10/2012|
Agreed R26 -- I don't watch Homeland, but I thought it was funny.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||11/10/2012|
loving this mcdonalds skit too.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||11/10/2012|
Why is the Rihanna song so heavy on video effects? Haven't watched SNL in a while, is this the norm now?
|by Anonymous||reply 29||11/10/2012|
Anne as Katie
|by Anonymous||reply 30||11/10/2012|
I'm hoping Chris Brown shows up for Rihanna's second song.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||11/10/2012|
OK Keenean Thompson, DJ Tony is British, not a New York thug...would it have killed you to give the accent the old college try?
|by Anonymous||reply 32||11/10/2012|
Kenan does the exact same sixth-grade talent show-level schtick for every single character. I'm not even mad at him: I'm a child of the 90s and I kind of enjoy that he's managed to stay on SNL for a decade while never progressing beyond the Nickelodeon School of Comic Acting.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||11/10/2012|
Jesus that last ad was DL catnip.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||11/10/2012|
Bad predictions, guys-Kate did Ellen DeGeneres, not Diane Sawyer. And no Fox News spoof-they already did that last week.
I hope Jeremy Renner plays Shepherd Smith next weekend.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||11/10/2012|
I predict it will be unfunny and suck.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||11/10/2012|
I loved Hathaway's singing. But otherwise, another horrible show.
Mitt skit was terrible.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||11/10/2012|
What? No comment about the 2 Maine gay guys?
Hader was particularly hot and funny in that bit...
|by Anonymous||reply 38||11/10/2012|
"Okay, so I didn't go to electoral college." Drunk guy on Weekend Update was absolutely hilarious!
