Sean Hannity Flips On Immigration Reform, Now Supports Pathway To Citizenship
Well, that was fast.
"We've gotta get rid of the immigration issue altogether. It's simple for me to fix it. I think you control the border first, you create a pathway for those people that are here, you don't say you gotta home. And that is a position that I've evolved on. Because you know what--it just--it's gotta be resolved. The majority of people here--if some people have criminal records you can send' em home--but if people are here, law-abiding, participating, four years, their kids are born here... first secure the border, pathway to citizenship... then it's done. But you can't let the problem continue. It's gotta stop."

The only time a Repuke changes its mind is when there's something in it for it.

Even if the GOP supported amnesty or illegal immigration or granting citizenship to illegal immigrants, Latinos and many other immigrant populations would still overwhelmingly support the Democratic party. These are populations that are looking to gain in American society and to take resources. The easiest way to do that is vote as a unit since white people split their vote between Democrats and Republicans.
"Fixing" immigration now by granting amnesty won't stop the problem it will only make it worse because you are saying to foreign people that if you come here Americans will not deport you, that you can wag your finger in Americans' faces and they will give in and let you stay.

R4, then do the world a favor and kill yourself so YOU stop taking resources. And take Hannity and all of the rest who add nothing to society with you.

George W. Bush attracted the Latino vote by lowering loan standards so people who normally wouldn't qualify for loans like home loans would get them and move up into the middle class. It eventually resulted in the housing bubble.

Can somebody please make this into a thread? This is bizarre DL gold:

R3, our president changed his mind about gay marriage only when it was politically convenient for him. You could stand to open your eyes a bit.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/08/2012|
No R7. Pay the $18 if you want to post disgusting threads.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/08/2012|
And we were having such a nice day.
R8, YOU LOST. It doesn't work. You're irrelevant, a fart in the wind.
Your opinions were wrong before, now you're just pathetic. Go have a circle jerk with the rest of the self-loathers who think any of you mean anything.
Continue to live in your toxic bubble where the things you complain about are fucking stupid and meaningless. You live in the past and honestly, it's just sad.
You have nothing. You are nothing, and you know it.

Who give a flying fuck what that repulsive Hannity thinks about anything?
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/08/2012|
It's fun to watch them squirm, r11.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||11/08/2012|
actually R8 the president took a BIG risk on marriage equality. he could have easily waited until AFTER the election to take such a controversial and bold stance, but he did not. Frankly I was scared it was going to cost him the election.

R8. Obama was evolving, and everyone knew it. He did drag his feet a bit, but we knew Obama's support was coming; it was just a matter of timing.
However, Hannity was not evolving at all. His immigration announcement was a complete turnaround in one day. Hannity didn't evolve--he flipped purely for opportunistic reasons.
Will Hannity also turnaround and show support of gays? No. Hannity will only flip on the safe issues.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||11/08/2012|
Hannity do it because he was instructed to do so.

Obama announced his support for same-sex marriage right when Mitt Romney was about to lock up the Republican nomination. Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts when same-sex marriage became law. So the issue was null and void.
