The FReepers are rejoicing at all of the companies

laying off workers now.

Here's hoping every last FReeptard gets their job outsourced to China.

link to story about one such company please.

For R2:

Here's one, R2:

RIM Reportedly Cuts 200 Jobs In Irving, Texas Office

by Anonymousreply 411/08/2012

Here's another:

Nextel to cut 20% of jobs at Virginia headquarters

by Anonymousreply 511/08/2012

and another:

(this one I know to be true because one of my friends is one of the people who was laid-off)

Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne Cuts Valley Workforce

by Anonymousreply 611/08/2012

RIM is dying. i doubt this layoff has any thing to do w/ the election. same for nextel... aren't they also going under?

by Anonymousreply 711/08/2012

RIM is a company based in canada and a very liberal one (my partner did some work for them). However, they are in deep shit financially so these layoffs were expected.

by Anonymousreply 811/08/2012

Going through all the links:

r3 (Las Vegas) - anecdotal, no way to prove or disprove

r4 (RIM) - company states that this is part of a plan to eliminate 5,000 jobs this year

r5 (NIL Holdings) - NIL does business in Latin America; the jobs are moving there

r6 (Rocketdyne) - 100 salaried and hourly positions cut

I wouldn't put it past some business owners to make a "statement" by conducting previously planned firings on the day after Election Day, but there's no proof that the Las Vegas scenario existed, and the other three have no proven connection to the election.

But I don't doubt the Freepers are turning donuts in their government-paid Li'l Rascals over the news.

by Anonymousreply 911/08/2012

I get it, R9. You're picking nits. Thanks anyway, but I won't waste my time.

by Anonymousreply 1011/08/2012

r9 is pointing out the truth. if that's your idea of "nitpicking" then yeah, r10, stop with your crap.

by Anonymousreply 1111/08/2012

Bullshiza. Any company doing layoffs had already planned it. It's not due to the election, it's drama.

by Anonymousreply 1211/08/2012

Agree this thread is bs because there isn't any evidence for this. But I think the freepers would be happy if there were an actual situation.

by Anonymousreply 1311/08/2012

All of the links to articles about layoffs that I posted were links that the FReeptards posted on THEIR site.

by Anonymousreply 1411/08/2012

then you were posting CRAP, op.

by Anonymousreply 1511/08/2012

Piss off R15. I posted the links to show what fucking MORONS they are. And apparently YOU are a moron as well.

by Anonymousreply 1611/08/2012

JFK, R15. That person isn't a freeper, he's providing info from that site AS REQUESTED by someone here.

by Anonymousreply 1711/08/2012

The point is this: you posted the story as if you believed there really ARE companies laying off people in a childish reaction to Obama being elected.

But what's really happening are layoffs that were already planned or in the works being attributed to that phenom.

Your OP did not indicate you understood this.

by Anonymousreply 1811/08/2012

No, I posted this story as Freepers are rejoicing because they believe these companies are laying off people because Obama was re-elected.

But I still think you're a moron.

by Anonymousreply 1911/08/2012

i might be a moron, but you could be a clearer writer.

by Anonymousreply 2011/08/2012

I guess this is their idea of "going Galt."

by Anonymousreply 2111/08/2012

Republicans have always liked downsizing.
