What is wrong with this state that they cannot do elections??
Why the fuck hasn't Florida been called yet?

We're still sitting here tapping our feet and waiting to serve!
|by Anonymous||reply 2||11/07/2012|
This is so ridiculous....what, is everything done at a friggin' 80 yr old pace in this state?
|by Anonymous||reply 3||11/07/2012|
Florida is so fucked up, it's time for a United States penectomy.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||11/07/2012|
I agree, give it to fucking Cuba!
|by Anonymous||reply 5||11/07/2012|
It appears that Florida is a third-world country when it comes to voting. Mondo beyondo fuckeed up.

Among numerous other problems, there were more absentee ballots this year than years prior and many large counties weren't even beginning to count them 'til today.
[quote]Headed into Tuesday, elections officials predicted voters would find far shorter lines than during the eight days of early voting, when 2.4 million people voted — down some 200,000 from those who voted during 14 early days in 2008. Yet aggressive absentee ballot drives by both political parties could result in this being the first election when the majority of Florida ballots were not cast at precincts on Election Day.

R7. And of course, Florida wouldn't have thought to overly prepare for a presidential election.
Florida doesn't exactly have a good reputation for having its shit together.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/08/2012|
There can't be enough votes left to count that can actually change the result... they need to just call it for Obama and be done with it.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/08/2012|
Finally called for Obama.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||11/08/2012|
Florida has NOT been called for Obama, yet, R10. Election day was three days ago? This is criminal and an abomination.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/09/2012|
It's been called for Obama "unofficially." They know they're a laughing stock.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||11/09/2012|
Results Saturday at noon, but not certified till 11/20

We lost count when Eugene had a bout of heartburn and we all thought it was a heart attack! It seemed like a heart attack. He's had triple bypass, so it could have been a heart attack! Anyway, we called 911 and after those lovely EMTs took Eugene away...we realized that none of us knew which stack of ballots we had been working on! Naturally we had to start from scratch and WITHOUT the help of Eugene, who was team leader...

They're probably too stupid and lazy to notice how stupid and lazy they look to the rest of the country.
Come visit Florida: the home of the stupid, lazy and incompetent!
There's a theme for vacationing in Florida!

Governor Voldermort is the main reason for this current problem
|by Anonymous||reply 16||11/09/2012|
Can I tell you that Voldermort closed about half of our polling stations, causing serious problems for voters. Of course the idiots in Florida had VOTED for Voldermort.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/09/2012|
By the way, the damn ballot in Dade was like 12 pages long.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||11/09/2012|
Voldermort was voted in by a very small margin in 2010. The tea party influence//Obama backlash were in full bloom.
Baldermort is really hated in the state now and would never win the current political climate

in the next 50 years Florida will be subsumed by the rising oceans. Nothing will be left by 2067. Let's take pity on them.

I love that this horrible state's only relevance in this election is in determining just how badly Obama whipped Romney's ass.
