Did you spot a non-white person in Romney's crowd?
|by Anonymous||reply 28||11/07/2012|
No, but did you see the two women the camera focused on for a few minutes? Probably late twenties, mid thirties, makeup packed on, false eyelashes, highlighted hair, fake Chanel outfits, and pouts for days.

I saw some Indians (that is India the country, not Native American). Not a surprise; they're the biggest assholes in Asia.

I saw a couple of African- Americans.
But the contrast between Mitt's crowd and the veritable rainbow that was Obama's was undeniable.

I saw one carrying a cheese and fruit tray...

I thought I saw an Asian-looking lady there.

Nah, that was just a middle-aged white woman with a bad facelift.

I saw a few Hispanics, but they were with the cleaning crew - no confetti and balloons to sweep up, but lots of tears to mop up. Those sweet, sweet, tasty tears that I wish to drink from a goblet.

There is a lack of political diversity among non-white people.

Wasn't that the intent of the GOP?
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/07/2012|
That is the triumph of the Democratic party, R8, and the ultimate failure of the GOP. That the Democratic party could manage to fit so many diverse groups with such different and at times opposing backgrounds and interests under one coalition.
What do Asians have in common with Latinos, with African-Americans, with LGBT people? Really, not much of a fuck lot. They find different issues to be important to them (immigration vs. same-sex marriage vs. education, etc.) But they all break Democrat.
That the GOP has managed to alienate all of them is a severe failure and miscalculation on its part.

Don't Indian Americans and Korean Americans tend to vote Republican, generally speaking?
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/07/2012|
I noticed that in event after event of Romney's closing campaign. Behind the podium, 99% white with hardly any young people. At Obama's events, diversity was on display everywhere you looked.

They were seated in the back according to te seating plan.

There are no non-white people in Country Music.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||11/07/2012|
I forgot about the help - they were there.

One of the waiters was black.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/07/2012|
My Consuela was there. Someone had to serve the punch.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||11/07/2012|
What color is Rafalca?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||11/07/2012|
Rumor has it Cowboy Troy was brought in.
The problem is, they didn't move him around fast enough to keep up with the TV cameras, so few saw him.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||11/07/2012|
Mittles didn't CGI any in?
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/07/2012|
Why, did we miss one?
|by Anonymous||reply 22||11/07/2012|
No, but I saw a lot of David Muir. Woof.

I saw no one who looked like an American Indian.
"Woo, woo, woo, woo!"
*chop, chop, chop*

I saw one Black guy in the Romney crowd last night. I remember because it was so surprising.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||11/07/2012|
Hell, I don't think I saw a non-stupid person in that crowd. I noticed how fast they disbursed Mittens concession speech; didn't even give any lingering cheers or applause for Slick and Slicker.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||11/07/2012|
[R26] That was probably a Romney servant.
