Maine voters approve marriage equality

It was passed into law a few years ago, then there was a referendum that put it to vote and it was taken away.

Now, it went back to the voters and was approved!!

Now it's in for good -- right? No more 180s?

lets hope!

the homophobes could always try another people's overturn, but since the people just voted FOR gay marriage you would think they'd get the hint and give up.

New England...the regional leader of the nation for same-sex marriage equality. Great job, Maine!

Wikipedia needs to be updated. However, of the six New England states, same-sex marriage is now legal in five states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshore and now Maine.

One more to go--come on Rhode Island!
