Where's Ann? Where's Paul? This is so odd.
Romney's concession speech
|by Anonymous||reply 45||11/08/2012|
Oh there they are.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||11/06/2012|
Paul Ryan still has a job. He won his seat again tonight, so unlike Romney, he's not going away.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||11/06/2012|
Ann is no doubt inflicting physical harm on her servants and imagining she's Atia of the Julii.
Paul is staring into a handheld mirror, repeatedly asking "Who's you daddy now?" and then struggling to come up with an answer.

|by Anonymous||reply 4||11/06/2012|
Paul texted Aron Schock...."hold me."
|by Anonymous||reply 5||11/06/2012|
Will Paul Ryan's flamingo legs rest on Aaron Schock's strong shoulders tonight??
|by Anonymous||reply 6||11/06/2012|
I hope so...I hope they run off together and renounce their political pasts.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||11/06/2012|
Paul Ryan believed in running for VP so much that he ran in two elections and kept his job.
That's confidence! Smart man but a hypocritical asshole.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/06/2012|
I love the word concession. I always think of the fried food at the fair. Mmmmm.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||11/06/2012|
Paul Ryan's selection was a huge mistake. What did he bring? Nothing!
|by Anonymous||reply 10||11/06/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/06/2012|
Media seemed to ignore Ryan for the last six weeks. Did Romney's people tell him to keep hidden?
|by Anonymous||reply 12||11/06/2012|
Romney had such a nasty look on his face, BUH BYE.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||11/06/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 14||11/06/2012|
Seven years this dumb fuck has been running for this. How much money has he spent to lose?
He and Linda McMahon are disgraceful. All of that money spent to feed their egos.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||11/06/2012|
Ryan was making his acceptance speech for his senate seat.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||11/06/2012|
Interesting thing, R15, Romney dropped a bundle of his own money on his 2008 campaign, not a dime for this one.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/06/2012|
[quote] Romney dropped a bundle of his own money on his 2008 campaign, not a dime for this one.
Was this due to the SCOTUS Citizens United case? He has corporations paying his campaign
|by Anonymous||reply 18||11/06/2012|
R16, Ryan was re-elected to the Congress not the Senate.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||11/06/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 20||11/06/2012|
I agree r13. That was the look of a FURIOUS narcissist.
And his concession speech seemed very insincere.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/06/2012|
Almost, r19. But the Senate is part of Congress.
Ryan is a Representative in the House.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||11/06/2012|
Yes, R22, he is also known as Congressman Ryan. Reading for context, anyone can discern that the idiomatic use of the word 'Congress' refers to the lower house when contrasted to the Senate.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||11/06/2012|
Shit doesn't have a real bone in his body...
|by Anonymous||reply 24||11/07/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 25||11/07/2012|
Anne looked extra bloated??
|by Anonymous||reply 26||11/07/2012|
R26. It was water weight! What do you people want from me??!! I just might have to run on my own next time. I'm the one who told the dumb, flip-flopping, lying ass to run in the first place. And then he went with that 'severely conservative' bullshit.
But the real conservatives are Tagg and me. And we'll be back, bitches.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||11/07/2012|
Romney didn't even win his hometown of Belmont, MA, lol.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||11/07/2012|
R28. We hate Romney. After two years as governor in 2004, he knew he would never be reelected. He ran as a moderate, but became an asshole of the highest order. Remember, this is blue-blue-blue liberal Masssachusetts.
Romney then started his war with gays, but same-sex marriage passed anyway. He eventually pretty much just left the state two years before his term would have ended in 2006 and started plotting his race for president. We have hated Romney for years now.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||11/07/2012|
Heard that Paul was in shock, and didn't want to make a speech. That's Sarah Palin for you!
|by Anonymous||reply 30||11/07/2012|
I love how he thanked his hardworking team, and their wives and children. A douchebag until the very end.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||11/07/2012|
"Paul Ryan believed in running for VP so much that he ran in two elections and kept his job. "
What else could you expect this dirtbag to do? This darling of the "private sector can do no wrong" has never had a job in the private sector. That is unless you include his stint driving the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||11/07/2012|
Can somebody please start a thread, with a poll:
"What precipitated Shitt Romney's downfall the most?"
the dog on the roof, his ill-advised trip to London, Clint Eastwood, James Carter IV, Big Bird, binders full of women, not disclosing his tax returns, not using Ann sparingly, lying Mitt underestimating the American public, Sandy.
We need to gloat, and we need to discuss!
|by Anonymous||reply 33||11/07/2012|
Lesson for the Republican Party -
Do NOT nominate a sociopath.
If you do nominate a sociopath, do NOT drag out his wife and family to "humanize" him...
Especially if they are even more unlikeable than he is.
Sorry, that was meant to be "Rinse and repeat..."
|by Anonymous||reply 34||11/07/2012|
Did you notice that Romney TRULY didn't have a concession speech? His first 2-3 sentences were freshly penned and he looked very awkward, but the rest was actually ACCEPTANCE speech. He got his stride in thanking everyone because that was the ACCEPTANCE SPEECH HE MEMORIZED. Then he added one concession sentence at the end.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||11/07/2012|
I bet his writers did have a concession speech but had to pretend to write one on the fly so they could leave the place alive.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||11/07/2012|
It really was a shitty concession. Not acknowledging that the people had spoken and chosen Obama. Of course, that's no surprise, as we always knew he was a petty shithead.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||11/07/2012|
I'm wondering about the timing of Romney's concession speech versus the timing of when the networks called the popular vote for Obama.
Mitten's activities in states he clearly lost, such as Pa. showed he was working to get the popular vote after the electoral vote was out of his reach for the last several months. The idea is that the Republs could call Obama's victory into question, because of his winning the electoral vote while losing the popular vote. (Kind of like how the Democrats called the chimp's victory into question, because the republ supreme court operatives overturned the electoral vote while he lost the popular vote as well.)
Mitt would not have conceded until he was certain the " yeah, but I won the popular vote" gambit was not an option.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||11/07/2012|
He never EVER thought he would lose. That speech was written by his staff, and I'd bet my $10K that the first time he saw it was as we heard it.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||11/07/2012|
[quote]I love how he thanked his hardworking team, and their wives and children. A douchebag until the very end.
Oh Christ, I missed that completely, but of course you're right, that was a real glimpse into his head.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||11/07/2012|
This was a pro-forma speech - as they say in Spanish "He complido" (I've fulfilled the obligation).
|by Anonymous||reply 41||11/07/2012|
He's got rhythm!
|by Anonymous||reply 42||11/07/2012|
R42, that is hilarious!
|by Anonymous||reply 43||11/07/2012|
R30, don't you mean that Ryan was in SCHOCK?
|by Anonymous||reply 44||11/08/2012|
Bye bye Mittens.
|by Anonymous||reply 45||11/08/2012|
