Tori Spelling Has Finally Stopped Breeding

What will they use as a plot for her reality series now that she can’t have any more kids?

*** 'I nearly died!' Tori Spelling reveals fourth pregnancy caused internal bleeding - and was close to having termination to save her life.

As reports circulated that Tori Spelling had been hospitalised following the birth of her fourth child, husband Dean McDermott brushed it off as 'tests' while she deflected the severity tweeting away.

But now the former 90210 star has revealed the truth, that being pregnant with Finn nearly killed her.

While Tori was carrying her son, the mother-of-four was diagnosed with placenta previa at the 20 week mark - a condition where the placenta covers the cervix and causes internal bleeding.

The California native even spoke of the moment she discovered she was in danger, waking up at 6am with 'blood streaming down my legs' and asking toddler daughter Stella to 'go get daddy'.

The 39-year-old was rushed to hospital, where she spent 10 weeks receiving treatment followed by four months of bed rest, and she was even close to having her pregnancy terminated to save her life. However, she battled through and gave birth to Finn Davey McDermott on August 30

Speaking of the incident, Tori told Us Weekly: 'When they put him in my arms I was like, "We made it!" We have an insane bond. We've been through hell and back.'

But more drama followed for the reality star and TV movie favourite, as three weeks after Finn's birth, Tori's C-section scar burst and she returned to hospital for emergency surgery, which also left her unable to have any more children.

Tori admits the biggest fear she had when she was told she could die was leaving her three other children without a mother - five-year-old Liam, Stella, four, and 12-month-old Hattie.

She added: 'I just remember thinking, "I can't leave three children behind."'

Despite the physical trauma, Tori also opened up about the emotionally draining experience of being in hospital, and missed Liam's pre-school graduation and Hattie's fourth birthday.

And when quizzed over whether she considered 'the worst case scenario', Tori said: 'I kept thinking, at what age do kids remember?

'Like, Liam will remember me, but will Stella?

'And I knew Hattie wouldn't. I was like, "Am I supposed to make videos for them?"'

Tori also laments over not being able to hold Hattie since she was five-months-old, and missing her first word 'dada', with the toddler now dependent on Dean instead of her mother.

Where the Hell was Dean at 6:00AM?

I read this initially as "Tori Spelling Has Finally Stopped Breathing"

She should really self-absorbed. Of course she went through a horrible ordeal, but fretting about whether her daughter will remember she missed her 4th birthday is ridiculous. The kids knew their mother was in the hospital. It sounds more like Tori, from her super-wealthy background, is simply not used to being denied what she wants, whatever it may be.

should = sounds

I wish, r2. Can't stand the stupid cow.

Women who breed like wet Gremlins disgust me. How incredibly selfish and wasteful.

What a bloody gash.

I'm amazed this wasn't a very special episode of realiy TV. A one-hour special, even.

The nerve of this genetic mishap thinking she's doing the world a favor by spreading her inferior genes. An insult to the thinking man!

by Anonymousreply 910/11/2012

I read it the same R2. I thought it was rather complacent in its presentation of her demise.

I don't know, the bit about her not being able to her daughter since she was five months old got to me. I totally believe that this was an accidental pregnancy.

I just saw her book [italic](Uncharted TerriTORI)[/italic] at the grocery store in a cart with a bunch of other stuff on clearance. It had a price tag on the front that said, "25 cents." I felt a moment of embarassment on her behalf. Then I thought, "I've got to tell this on DataLounge."
