America's Sweetheart Debbie Reynolds Hospitalized, Cancels Demanding Concert Schedule
An "adverse reaction to prescription medication"? Sounds more like Carrie than Debbie.
Sending good wishes!
[quote]Legendary singer and actress Debbie Reynolds was forced to cancel three months of shows after being hospitalized for an adverse reaction to prescription medication, her rep tells FOX411. Reynolds, 80, still remains in the hospital. "Debbie was hospitalized at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles due to an adverse reaction she experienced to a medication she was currently taking," her rep said in a statement. "On the advice of her doctors, Reynolds has been forced to cancel appearances and concert engagements for the next three months."

Mr. Mayer always said to me "Never let 'em see you sweat!" Or was it ass? Never let em see your ass!

Wow canceling everything for the rest of the year doesn't sound too good.

My cousin's friend who is a piano tuner to ALL the big names in Hollywood said that Deb's snail trail is the main reason they put tablecloths on baby grands.
That said, I hope Ms. Reynolds gets better.

I hope she's better soon, but cancelling months of engagements doesn't sound good.

Demanding schedule? Is it really that hard to sing off-pitch in an Indian casino?

Get up Debbie! WE LOVE YOU!

Sounds like there is more to the story. Three months? Sounds more like a stroke.
I've always liked Debbie Reynolds. I love how she speaks her mind and has a wicked sense of humor. I hope she mends well.

Debbie's an ok comedic actress but I'm amazed anyone would pay to hear her sing, especially at her age.

I'd cash out my 401(k) to see her do this live.

Debbie is a national treasure who mistakenly ingested bath salts and then partially ate Jane Powell's face during what Debbie believed to be a contentious business lunch at the MGM commissary.
There's no big story here. Stop digging.

Debbie Reynolds Online
Update: Initially, Debbie's representative stated that she would be canceling her engagements for the next three months, but following her release from the hospital on Wednesday (Oct. 10), her manager says that may not be the case.
"We are taking a wait and see position regarding future personal appearances and will abide by the doctor's advice," he says.
Margie Duncan, who works with Reynolds, says she "just needs to take it easy for awhile."

Sounds like Debbie got into her daughter's stash. We all know Carrie takes the hardcore shit, and poor old mom couldn't handle it.

How old is Debbie Reynolds? I did find it pretty remarkable that she forgave Elizabeth Taylor and they ended up friends again. I think Debbie was actually glad to be free from ol Eddie.

She's 80, R16, per the linked article.
