Brad Pitt looks dapper as can be in the photo spread for his Interview magazine cover story for the October/November 2012 issue.
Here is what the 48-year-old Killing Them Softly actor had to share with interviewer Guy Ritchie:
On who he is supporting in the election: âWell, I just want to avoid confusion with this film and say Iâm a big supporter of Obama, and I think heâs our best answer for the next four years.â
On his future in film: âIâd rather be behind the camera. As a producer, obviously, youâre part of a team that brings the story to the screen. It wouldnât be there if you didnât champion it or if you and a group of people werenât championing it. I like that.â
On choosing films to work on: âYou know, right now, this is like a clean-up-the-loose-ends-and-tidy-up-the-place kind of year, which I also look at as a refill kind of year. Iâm not good at going back-to-back-to-back-to-back with movies, and itâs just now that Iâm starting to get my bearings again and a flavor for whatâs next. But it canât be something repetitive that Iâve done before. Iâm bored to death by that, and when I attempt things like that, it never worksâI end up hurting the movie. So itâs just about discovery now and finding something new thatâs interesting to me.â
On his film Killing Them Softly: âWell, what Andrew [Dominik] wanted to do with this film was interesting: He wanted to talk about Americaâand America as a businessâbut he wanted to hide it within this low-end crime drama. We in America have some grand idealsâand some very strong idealsâbut a lot of times, those ideals are used for marketing.
