im thinking about a cock ring

never tried one, and older guys who used to wear one freaked me out when i was a twink.

But now im older and i only do twinks.

Have attitudes changed or are the stuck in the 80s?

by Anonymousreply 3012/27/2014

I wouldn't advise doing anything that interferes with the blood flow to your penis.

by Anonymousreply 110/07/2012

Gross fetish wear, like the awful pubic haircut a remnant of older gays and disease.

by Anonymousreply 210/08/2012

Cock-rings are so the opposite of hot.

When I see one in porn, it's a boner-killer. It's about as sexy as looking at a guy using a crutch.

by Anonymousreply 310/08/2012

Cock-rings are for wannabe tops who can't stay hard.

by Anonymousreply 510/08/2012

W&W for r4!

by Anonymousreply 610/08/2012

If you need a cock ring to stay hard you've already lost the battle.

by Anonymousreply 710/08/2012

R5 NAILED it. Cockrings = Erectile Dysfunction.

by Anonymousreply 810/08/2012

OMG, OP--do you [italic]DARE????[/italic]

by Anonymousreply 910/08/2012

I use cock rings to stay not-hard in every day life.. weird...

by Anonymousreply 1010/08/2012

It's cheaper than an Aussie-Bum man-bra

by Anonymousreply 1110/08/2012

I love wearing a ring and have always worn one during sex; it has nothing whatsoever to do with erectile disfunction, it just feels great. I also MUCH prefer a ring on my partners. I find them visually hot and functionally fun. They frame the package and lift the balls, all of which turns me on.

Good gawd, some of you are so single-minded and judgemental when it comes to sexual tastes different from your own. In case you haven't figured it out, that's a lot of the same attitude that makes so many straight people hate 'the gays'.

Different strokes, folks!! Embrace it.

by Anonymousreply 1210/08/2012

r1 is right. It's not a question of tolerance r12. Ask a doctor.

So wearing a cock ring and being mocked is similar to homophobia?

by Anonymousreply 1410/08/2012

I would think anything that alters the way the body is suppose to function anct be all that healthy. It looks like a tourniquet cutting off blood supply.

by Anonymousreply 1510/08/2012

I have a Cartier "LOVE"" bracelet that I use as a cock ring.

by Anonymousreply 1610/08/2012

I have a black gel type one. I don't have erection problems, I just occasionally wear it for the fetishy kind of feeling. It looks trashy and sleazy, so I get a kick out of it once in a while. Interestingly, I do not like watching men wearing one in porn, especially the chrome kind or the very thick rubber or leather ones. I don't like the feeling of my pubic hair getting pulled though, which is what happens when I remove the model that I have. If I keep myself trimmed short, then obviously it is not a problem. I don't think the ring helps my erection or ejaculation in any way, it's just a sex toy to me.

by Anonymousreply 1710/08/2012

All these toys for sex that cost so much money. Aren't teething rings and rattles cheaper?

by Anonymousreply 1810/08/2012

Good grief, R14, it's not similar at all. But narrow-minded attitude because of the sexual "ewww" factor is still narrow-mindedness, whether it's about something insignificant like a taste for cock rings or French maid's uniforms, or something on the whole life scale, like sexual orientation or gender identity. The problem is on an entirely different scale, but in some cases, the attitude starts out the same: "I think that's disgusting, so YOU shouldn't do it."

And for those of you talking about how 'dangerous' it is, have you got any medical evidence to back that up? You know, like the medical evidence the homophobes bring up about how dangerous gay sex is?

In summary, some of you really need to RELAX!

by Anonymousreply 1910/08/2012

My gel ring cost about $6.00, btw. So, not that expensive but I'm sure the metal or leather ones are more than that. It's sitting in my drawer, the latex or whatever it is made of is drying out. But I had fun with it for about 3 years, so it was worth the small investment.

by Anonymousreply 2010/08/2012

For decades I was in the "I don't get cock rings" camp. Yea, I thought they were trashy and figured the guy had ED.

Then for some reason, I wanted to get a leather strap to wrap the base of my cock and balls. I don't know why, I just did.

I bought the strap at a place in Provincetown (Full Kit Gear) and man, did I love it.

I liked the way it felt - I liked the way it looked.

No one had to know I was wearing it, but the thought of having it on at the office or when out running errands, was hot.

Go for it OP - if you don't like it. throw it away.

You're not going to hurt anyone by having it.

by Anonymousreply 2210/09/2012

Is it me or does the guy's head in R23 look somehow wrong for the body?

Neck down, gorgeous, though.

by Anonymousreply 2412/26/2014

R23, ring or no ring I'd do him in an instant!

by Anonymousreply 2512/26/2014

I love putting cock rings on. It's just getting them off that's a bitch.

by Anonymousreply 2612/26/2014

They are troll wear for disgusting old trolls and leather queens.

by Anonymousreply 2712/26/2014

contemplation

by Anonymousreply 2812/27/2014

ouch!

by Anonymousreply 2912/27/2014

We've moved on ... now we do WEDDING rings.
