He's at least a little bit gay, right?

One of George Clooney's fuck buddies....

|by Anonymous||reply 2||02/25/2012|
I heard he's a crawfish head sucker.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||02/25/2012|
No, I don't think he's a little bit gay or a lot gay. He fucked around on his wife all the time with women.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||02/26/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 6||06/29/2012|
He's a director, I guess he sticks it where ever he wants.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||06/29/2012|
Nancy Walker directed Can't Stop the Music. JS.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||06/29/2012|
His unpaid intern told us curious people everything about him.

He's one of the most uneven directors I can think of. I've watched 3 of his films in the past week or so (Side Effects, Bubble, and Magic Mike). Side Effects was decent, Bubble was bizarre (ended so abruptly I thought it must be missing 20 minutes), and Magic Mike was garbage, and not sexy in the least. I did like Behind the Candelabra, though.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||09/28/2013|
He has major issues, most of which stem from his psycho mother. But I believe he's straight.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||09/28/2013|
He's mean to Jules Asner.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||09/28/2013|
Who keeps bumping my old threads?
Anyway, I vote for self-loathing closet case. Apparently when he was filming "Magic Mike" he kept telling the cast "This needs to be a musical!" It don't get no gayer than that, folks.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||09/28/2013|
I started to suspect that he was gay because of his movies - Magic Mike, Behind the Candelabra. Straight men wouldn't direct something like that.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||09/29/2013|
Jules Asner was with him at the Emmys. I guess she has forgiven him for the baby he had with another woman.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||09/29/2013|
Either he or the cinematographer of Ocean's 11 has some gay in him given the prominence that the Damon Butt was given in the vault break in scene. It was pretty much the focus of that scene and was lovingly filmed. It was in another Soderbergh film, Behind the Candelabra, that the Damon Butt received unclothed prominence.

R18, Steven Soderbergh is the cinematographer on all his films.
Soderbergh strikes me as a late-bloomer. He's probably been preternaturally horny since adolescence (explains 'sex lies and videotape') and a huge voyeur/porn consumer. So homosexuality was inevitably the next step. "Magic Mike" is essentially a film about homoerotiphobia, the simultaneous erotic attraction and repulsion to one's own sex (see also: Fight Club). Soderbergh more or less admitted it when he said:
[quote]“We have edited together the full-length versions of all the routines. They’re pretty disturbing. Honestly, it’s very…we sent them all to Sue Kroll at Warner Brothers and she said, ‘I really like these a lot.’ I think it’s not for men, these things. It made me really uncomfortable to watch them. We did 10 or 12, [and] to watch them all back to back was really disturbing. So, I don’t know.”
He might as well have added "NO HOMO" at the end of that! And we all know what that means.
Trust me, in five-ten years he'll be married to a man.

R10 and R19, you made my day. Or at least this hour.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||09/29/2013|
I thought when I left E! my fag hag days were over! Boy was I wrong!
|by Anonymous||reply 21||09/29/2013|
What's the story with the link above, "Extension765" - is it real? A real intern ratting out Soderbergh's insane b.s.? Schizopolis was cool as hell, tho.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||09/29/2013|
Um, ladies, he also directed Sex, Lies and Videotape and Traffic (Academy Award), Ocean's 11, 12, etc., The Good German, Contagion, Erin Brokovich, Full Frontal and Solaris. Anyone seeing anything gay in them needs to be medicated.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||09/29/2013|
Solaris was merely an excuse to get George Clooney's pants off.

|by Anonymous||reply 25||09/29/2013|
Jules looked pretty worn out at the Emmys and like she had just been crying. Soderbergh didn't mention her in his acceptance.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||09/29/2013|
I feel so sorry for Julie. Her husband is an awful person.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||09/29/2013|
That intern twitter is spot-on.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||09/29/2013|
Plucky, pert Jules always struck me as an odd match for brooding, austere intellectual Soderbergh... But she's exactly the type of woman a closeted gay man would marry. She "looks the part" of a trophy wife.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||09/29/2013|
Here's his illegitimate baby named Pearl Button Anderson
|by Anonymous||reply 30||09/29/2013|
Is he gay or not? Does anyone have gossip?
|by Anonymous||reply 31||09/29/2013|
And here Steven's hawking a bunch of crap to pay for his illegitimate baby
Anyone want to buy an Ocean's Thirteen T-shirt, mouse pad or perhaps an I.D pass to the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival?
|by Anonymous||reply 32||09/29/2013|
Here's the link
|by Anonymous||reply 33||09/29/2013|
If he weren't a famous director he wounld't have a chance to fuck
|by Anonymous||reply 34||09/29/2013|
His baby is cute. I wonder if he has any kind of relationship, or is at least paying support?
|by Anonymous||reply 35||09/29/2013|
He's married, so he can't be gay.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||09/29/2013|
Do you think he fucked Sasha Grey?
|by Anonymous||reply 37||09/29/2013|
Probably. But he was thinking of Charles Dera the whole time.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||09/29/2013|
Is he a nice guy? Because it seems like so.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||10/01/2013|
He is the modern day Don Draper.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||10/01/2013|
Maybe he was abused as a kid and has a thing for minors himself. I think he comes from an elitist background and doesn't exactly seem like a happy person.
