Anybody else think he's cute?
Steve Kornacki, pundit/political editor for Salon
|by Anonymous||reply 82||04/21/2013|
I'd do him.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||01/26/2012|
I always get him mixed up with the other dude in glasses at MSNBC.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||01/26/2012|
Absolutely! I find him so attractive. For two years I kept looking on the internet to determine if he is gay or not and finally he came out a couple months ago. He currently is single. I wish we would see more of him on TV.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||01/26/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 4||01/26/2012|
Had no idea he had come out -- good for him!
|by Anonymous||reply 5||01/26/2012|
a genuine sexpot in my book. Men in glasses always have tight asses.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||01/26/2012|
He's tall, dork and handsome.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||01/26/2012|
Here's his coming out story:
|by Anonymous||reply 8||01/26/2012|
Not alone at all, he is a frequent guest on Maddow and I always enjoy it when he shows up.
Had no idea he was out either, that is awesome to know. Love him even more.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||01/26/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 10||01/26/2012|
|by Anonymous||reply 11||01/26/2012|
Wow, that coming out story is incredibly sad. It actually made me sick to read about his needless suffering. Oy.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||01/26/2012|
His coming out story should be required reading in every school, especially every Catholic school. Been there, done that. I also know there is a lot of futures turmoils for those who don't come out until their 30's. Almost all aspects of growing up emotionally have been delayed.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||01/26/2012|
When he was on Rachel Maddow last night, I said out loud "Smart is sexy and he is turning me on."
|by Anonymous||reply 14||01/26/2012|
He's only 32? Damn, some of these people must have known exactly what they wanted to do in life at an early age. I certainly didn't.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||01/26/2012|
Kornacki is often a panel guest on Alex Wagner's show "Now" on MSNBC. And Alex is only 30 years old!
|by Anonymous||reply 16||01/26/2012|
He didn't seem to like Rachel's trans/top hat joke on the show last night. I like him, but he doesn't seem to have a sense of humor.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||01/26/2012|
I noticed that too R17, I thought Rachel's comment was amusing but Kornacki seemed uncomfortable.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||01/26/2012|
This is the second time I've seen him as a pundit during the weekend.
Steve, go out, have a good time, and get LAID!
|by Anonymous||reply 19||02/04/2012|
In r11's picture he looks like a lesbian. You'd have a hard time picking him out of Ellen DeGeneres' audience.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||02/04/2012|
He is now on "Hardball" quite often. I have always found him very verbal/smart and very cute - a few weeks ago I did a search on him, trying to determine if, indeed, he is gay - and what popped up but his comingout story. Would absolutely love to lick his entire body.(Noted a flaw this evening - his left profile is NOT his best - so, simply give me total frontal.)
|by Anonymous||reply 21||02/04/2012|
I find him very attractive - it's the gaunt nerd vibe that he gives off. He seems so earnest, which makes me think that he could make an excellent boyfriend.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||08/26/2012|
Was watching The Cycle on MSNBC and noticed him. Didn't know anything about him but thought he was attractive and had a sexy face. Then learned he was out. Wow! Great surprise because I didn't know he was gay. He is very smart and a big sports guy. However, his pictures over the years look very different from the way he looks now. I hope he hasn't had "work" done. Anyway, anyone know any more about him? Where does he live? Boyfriend? etc.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||08/26/2012|
He is single and lives in NYC. The best husband material that ever materialized. However ... as someone said, having come out in his 30s, he's got to have more issues than the New Republic archives. Is anyone who does that dateable?
|by Anonymous||reply 24||08/26/2012|
[quote]He seems so earnest, which makes me think that he could make an excellent boyfriend.
Bet he's a freak in bed.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||08/26/2012|
Still too much self-loathing for my taste.
Sure he's cute, but he sounds two hairs away from being just another closet Republican douchebag.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||08/26/2012|
What's wrong with coming out in your 30s?? I know men who have come out in their 50s or 60s, and they are fine! At least you've come out! Are we really going to condemn people who didn't come out in their teens or twenties? Really?? Really?? This guy looks great and he's intelligent--a very rare combination.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||08/26/2012|
A ht and smart man! He needs a boyfriend! I volunteer.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||08/27/2012|
Not seeing any self loath. He is sexy and seems to be very smart when he opens his mouth. Now get him a good show.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||08/29/2012|
And he's very tall with big feet!
|by Anonymous||reply 30||08/29/2012|
OP's link is broken now.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||08/29/2012|
No idea why this thread isn't longer
|by Anonymous||reply 32||08/29/2012|
He should have his own show!
|by Anonymous||reply 33||08/29/2012|
Steve and Krystal are the ONLY good things about "The Cycle".
Get those two another show, and fire S.E. and the beyond horrible Toure!
|by Anonymous||reply 34||08/29/2012|
I do not like his midwestern accent. The other night he was yammering on and on and Krystal could not get in a word edgewise. Seems a little naive/idealistic and I fancy savvier types, so I guess I am the only one who is not smitten.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||08/29/2012|
I wonder what his ass smells like after he goes hiking.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||08/29/2012|
Im sure he'll have a lot to say about tonight!
|by Anonymous||reply 37||08/31/2012|
I don't think he wipes very well...
|by Anonymous||reply 38||08/31/2012|
He's only 32? He looks so so much older. Yuck.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||08/31/2012|
I think this thread has the same troll on it now that the David Muir thread does. The troll hates both of them (and is probably a Republican!)and lets it be known in very disgusting ways. However, Steve is a hot guy and smart too. Love his intensity!
|by Anonymous||reply 40||08/31/2012|
Wish his show were on at a different time....It's in the middle of the day, which is why folks haven't been on this thread--they haven't seen him. But, trust me, he's cute and very smart. Got a terrific memory--everyone on that show yields to him when it comes to political history. Hope he has a good off-camera life.
|by Anonymous||reply 41||09/30/2012|
Who hates him, R40? He's smart and sweet - I bet he also has a nice foreskin.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||09/30/2012|
Do you think he was in attendance at Thomas Roberts' wedding this evening? I'd like to see who he brought as a date.
|by Anonymous||reply 43||09/30/2012|
I think he's hot and would do him in a second. Also Ari Melber -- hot hot hot.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||09/30/2012|
Y'all better BACK OFF my man. I have had a crush on him since he was a semi regular on the other cable shows.
Then I found out he was gay, and that means he and I are now in a commited relationship based on real love. Not crazy, unrealistic love like when I thought he was straight.
|by Anonymous||reply 45||09/30/2012|
Ari Melber is very sexy
|by Anonymous||reply 46||09/30/2012|
He does not ping in the least.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||09/30/2012|
Agree about Ari Melber. What a sexy guy!
|by Anonymous||reply 48||09/30/2012|
He looks like a bloated lesbian.
|by Anonymous||reply 49||09/30/2012|
ahhhhhhh, Ari. short, dark, hairy and sexy beyond words. also very smart. love when he shows up on a primetime show (like Last Word) and his 5 o'clock shadow is nice and strong.
|by Anonymous||reply 50||09/30/2012|
Mmmmmmm, Ari Melber ::drools::
|by Anonymous||reply 51||09/30/2012|
Why did Chris Hayes get married and have a baby? Doesn't he know he's gay? If he doesn't, he's the only one.
|by Anonymous||reply 52||09/30/2012|
Ari was showing the chest hair a few weeks ago.
Steve is a lot better looking now, than when he first started on MSNBC.
|by Anonymous||reply 53||09/30/2012|
Lord, she needed to come out AGES ago. If you can't come out until you're almost 35 and you're in Manhattan, something somewhere isn't adding up...
|by Anonymous||reply 54||09/30/2012|
Steve's coming out story:
|by Anonymous||reply 55||09/30/2012|
Ohhhhhh....so he's one of those gay guys who's proud of how "not gay" he is. Got it.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||09/30/2012|
Is this the guy I saw on the tv at my gym debating the ridiculous S. E. Cupps on some political talk show? There was no sound or even subtitles, but none was necessary; his takedown of her showed on her incredulous, Matalinesque visage. Then there was some kind of resolution and they both seemed to be pretending to yuk it up like old pals.
|by Anonymous||reply 57||09/30/2012|

|by Anonymous||reply 58||09/30/2012|
If we're talking about writers for The Nation, can we talk about Jeremy Scahill? I find his twitchy nihilism refreshing and sexy.
|by Anonymous||reply 59||09/30/2012|
Jeremy Scahill is so, so sexy; however, he's fucking nuts. I mean, he did a great public service by exposing the crimes of Blackwater, but he's fucking nuts.
|by Anonymous||reply 60||09/30/2012|
What ethnicity is Ari?
|by Anonymous||reply 61||09/30/2012|
time for a big hairy bump here!
|by Anonymous||reply 62||10/03/2012|
Oh, please, R61. Ari is Jewish, duh.
|by Anonymous||reply 63||10/03/2012|
Jeremy Scahill has a warm, moist inviting anus
|by Anonymous||reply 64||10/04/2012|
You wish, R64.
|by Anonymous||reply 65||10/04/2012|
Enough about dull Ari Melba Toast.
|by Anonymous||reply 66||10/04/2012|
Ari Melba Moore!
|by Anonymous||reply 67||10/04/2012|
nothing bland about Ari. hot, hairy, and smart. what else do you need to make a man sexy as hell?
|by Anonymous||reply 68||10/04/2012|
Steve is the only person that I can take seriously on this Cycle show.
Sometimes he seems a little over anxious when he's making his point, but he never sounds dumb or uninformed.
And even when disagreeing, he has a way of not making the others on the panel seem stupid either - which must be tough with Toure sitting across from him.
|by Anonymous||reply 69||10/24/2012|
Toure is Terrifying and looks like he wipes back to front
|by Anonymous||reply 70||10/25/2012|
Yes, Steve is great! A bit intense, but that's ok. If he needs a bf, I volunteer!
|by Anonymous||reply 71||10/25/2012|
[quote]What ethnicity is Ari?
He's Irish, Rose.
|by Anonymous||reply 72||10/25/2012|
While I couldn't wait to come out at 17, I'm glad I read Steve's story. It reminded me that, while it's never too late to make the changes you need in your life, sooner is better than later. I need to apply that to my own life.
And Ari? Well, I ended up here from a google search on "Ari Melber is hot"
|by Anonymous||reply 73||01/31/2013|
Steve needs to dress better, with the camera angle, they always show his shoes, which are always clunky and dirty looking.
|by Anonymous||reply 74||01/31/2013|
He needs to find a network that doesn't have some hot Israeli preen like Ari Melber if he wants to get noticed.
|by Anonymous||reply 75||01/31/2013|
Ari isn't aging well, Steve will age well.
|by Anonymous||reply 76||01/31/2013|
He's adorable, but a blind person cuts that hair.
|by Anonymous||reply 77||01/31/2013|
Some people don't seem to understand the difference between ethnicity, nationality, and religion. Yeesh.
|by Anonymous||reply 78||01/31/2013|
When Steve takes over for Chris Hayes on the weekend show, will he be giving up his seat next to the lovely and talented Krystal Ball?
|by Anonymous||reply 79||03/21/2013|
He looks like a lesbian. The sweaters don't help.
|by Anonymous||reply 80||03/21/2013|
I have the biggest crush on Steve... I want him to talk about politics while I do him ;-)
|by Anonymous||reply 81||04/21/2013|
R27, there's nothing 'wrong' with anyone coming out in their 30s or 40s or whatever, later in life.
But as someone who dated a few guys like that, there are challenges.
Mainly that those guys have to process through a lot of the same kinds of identity questions and issues that many of us did in our teens or twenties.
Not just "am I gay" (which clearly took them longer to publicly acknowledge) but where do I fit in this community, etc. They have to jump into the dating scene for the first time. And so forth.
It's as if you're dating an 18 year old, in many ways.
Kornacki is undeniably smart and cute. But I was so sad after reading his coming out story. This is a person who's lived in a lot of denial and didn't seem to love himself very much.
