Do you have an annoying laugh?

When did you realize this? Did someone have to tell you? Do you try to alter your laugh?

by Anonymousreply 2112/27/2013

Nobody has said anything, but they all do seem to avoid me....

by Anonymousreply 111/09/2011

My sister once told me I laughed like Johnny Carson.

by Anonymousreply 211/09/2011

People say I have an annoying laugh, but I don't think so.

I cant deal with sam champians yuk yuk yuk laugh, so fake and forced. i cant hear lara and guests on the gma when he starts that overly exagerated laugh

by Anonymousreply 402/08/2013

Everyone says my laugh is GREAT, just great! Really, really great!"

by Anonymousreply 502/08/2013

Sometimes if something is really funny I'll start snorting like a pig... not funny at all

by Anonymousreply 602/08/2013

Not at all!

There is this dumb bitch at work who laughs like a fucking hyena ALL day long at EVERY LITTLE THING. She laughs at shit that is in no way funny at all. Someone could say something as simple as, "I'm going to go to the supply room.", and this dumb bitch would laugh like she'd heard the funniest joke in the world. And the whole fucking office can hear her. Sounds like a zoo animal.

I don't even know how the hell she gets any work done since she talks/laughs all day long.

My snortles have left me with pee stained underpants and an empty bed.

Such a coincidence that I started reading this thread a few seconds after hearing one of Bea Benaderet's signature cackles on "Burns and Allen."

by Anonymousreply 1012/25/2013

I don't know. Why don't you come to the office and find out?

by Anonymousreply 1112/25/2013

I have a loud laugh and I laugh often. I kinda knew my whole life, but when people signed my yearbook and made reference to it there was when it really sunk it. As an old it has made it hard to blend it or stay off the radar because I am easily identified. It doesn't help that I am 6'5" too.

R8, a lot of people consider laughing excessively and at unwarranted times to be a sign of depression. That may be what's going on there.

by Anonymousreply 1312/26/2013

r6 Thank you, Grace Adler.

by Anonymousreply 1412/26/2013

Of all people, you guys should understand why I developed that annoying post-divorce laughter.

by Anonymousreply 1512/27/2013

I always loved Ito's laugh in Auntie Mame (with Rosalind Russell) but it would have been annoying to listen to constantly.

by Anonymousreply 1612/27/2013

I have a big "Ha Ha Ha!" laugh and it embarrasses me. It also reminds me of my brother because he has the same laugh. He and I have a similar "dirty chuckle" as well.

by Anonymousreply 1712/27/2013

Definitely annoying

I'm loud and I hit a high octave making a giggle sound - a trill from the back of the tongue. It also involves gasper noises.

Remember Def Comedy Jam? I'm a white version of any of those audience members.

Terry Gross is a great example of a persistent annoying laugh.

by Anonymousreply 1912/27/2013

r3, you don't laugh, you yuck.

by Anonymousreply 2012/27/2013

With something extremely funny, I have an unattractive Arnold Horschack laugh.
