Rosie's daughter in boarding school too!

Both her older kids. I guess Rosie's just mad at the dirt.

by Miss Crawfordreply 9302/22/2013

no replies!!! Bring me the ax!!!!!

by Miss Crawfordreply 111/08/2011

I missed the story. What happened to the first kid? I'm guessing one goes to boarding school. Was there a problem? Did they want to get away from their home life?

by Miss Crawfordreply 211/08/2011

The oldest boy Parker goes to military school. She said he threatened to join the army as soon as he turns 18 if she didn't let him go. She's been talking a lot about how hard it is having a teenage daughter and yesterday Salma Hayak was talking about getting kicked out of boarding school and Rosie said her daughter goes to boarding school. First I'd heard that both kids are away.

by Miss Crawfordreply 311/08/2011

We should've known they'll know where to find the boys and the booze!

by Miss Crawfordreply 411/08/2011

I mention this just because she is always so grandiose about how her children brought color to her B & W world and kind of makes you feel like life is meaningless without kids. Enjoy seeing it come back on her.

by Miss Crawfordreply 511/08/2011

So the two oldest are away at school, and Vivi lives with Kelli (?) and Blake lives with Rosie? Wow, how kid-friendly can you get.

by Miss Crawfordreply 611/08/2011

Rosie just likes babies. When they talk back...they go away.

by Miss Crawfordreply 711/08/2011

If she doesn't like you . . . she can make you disappear . . .

by Miss Crawfordreply 811/08/2011

I can't believe I actually know this, but it was Parker's idea to go to military school, not Rosie's. She was actually fighting against his going. I don't know what changed her mind, tho. I think I always knew another kid goes to boarding school. That's what I get for having listened to her radio show for a long time.

by Miss Crawfordreply 911/08/2011

Rosie is a wonderful mother. You are just jealous cause your momma doesn't love you and she dresses you funny.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1011/08/2011

stand up straight r10. Your hump is showing.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1111/09/2011

Good question. *Does* Blake live with Rosie? Odd that both kids would want boarding school.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1211/09/2011

[quote]She's been talking a lot about how hard it is having a teenage daughter

Translation: She sees me for exactly what I am. A narcissistic fat slob and pathological liar to boot.

If I had to choose between her and boarding school I'd pick boarding school as well. It's probably the most quiet and relaxed environment they've ever had.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1311/09/2011

Can't wait for the tell all books.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1411/09/2011

Rosie is boring. No one under 60 gives a shit about her.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1511/09/2011

Does Rosie talk to her sister anymore?

by Miss Crawfordreply 1611/09/2011

Babies are a bundle of joy and make for great press, but what a pain in the ass they become when they start to develop a will of their own.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1711/09/2011

.....maybe I just wanted a little publicity

by Miss Crawfordreply 1811/09/2011

No R16, she doesn't speak to me. And after I rode the bus with her and everything.

by Miss Crawfordreply 1911/09/2011

No child deserves to go to boarding school.

by Miss Crawfordreply 2011/09/2011

Is this an institution of learning or a TEENAGE BROTHEL?!?

by Miss Crawfordreply 2111/10/2011

We'll manage...

by Miss Crawfordreply 2211/10/2011

Doesn't Kelli have a say in all of this? She doesn't seem the type who would want to "get rid" of her kids.

by Miss Crawfordreply 2311/10/2011

A friend of mine worked on the Rosie O'Donnell show and has lots of stories about Rosie sloven personal habits. Basically, when she's not on camera she's a bossy, bra-less, belching bitch.

by Miss Crawfordreply 2411/10/2011

R20... I asked to be sent to a military boarding school to get away from my insane mother. It was the best thing I ever did.

by Miss Crawfordreply 2511/10/2011

I agree with a poster above. It is weird how every ten minutes she mentions the "black and white/ parker in my arms/ life full of technicolor" story and yet at the same time none of her children live with her anymore.

by Miss Crawfordreply 2611/10/2011

[quote] Does Rosie talk to her sister anymore

I dont know, but my partner knows someone who lives next door to a cousin of Rosie's. The woman said that Rosie is very generous to the cousin and the cousin's children.

by Miss Crawfordreply 2711/10/2011

Seriously the people on this board are out of control with stupid theories and hatred. Rosie tweets recent pics of all her kids and they look happy with her

by Miss Crawfordreply 2811/10/2011

Accoding to Rosie the other day: Parker said he hated her and she stayed in bed for two days crying and told him if he ever uses the hate word again she will have to go to a hospital.

by Miss Crawfordreply 2911/13/2011

r29, did she say that on TV, or a blog, or what?

by Miss Crawfordreply 3011/13/2011

LMAO R129 what a drama queen!

Most kids especially teenagers or younger kids when having an argument with one of their parent(s) will say "I hate you!" but they don't really mean it. Yes it hurts but it's not something you'd want to shut yourself in bed and say, "If you EVER say that again I'll have to go to a mental hospital!" over.

I'm sure Rosie being the dyke she is said "I hate you!" to her LOL overbearing father that ALL dykes claim that they have.

by Miss Crawfordreply 3111/13/2011

r30 she said it on her TV show When Molly Shannon was the guest

by Miss Crawfordreply 3211/13/2011

After she met her last girlfriend, didn't the woman move in with her own six or however many kids? Because if I were a kid of Rosie's, I would not be pleased about having new siblings imposed on me like that.

by Miss Crawfordreply 3311/14/2011

Anyone catch her Halloween show the other week?

I still have it on DVR, can't bring myself to erase it.

First she comes out looking like the Hindenburg as Bo Peep. Then the B'way Boys come out and together they sing "It's Raining Sheep" to the tune of "It's Raining Men."

Ro then starts "singing" (screaming at the top of her lungs). It is so hilarious that I nearly piss myself every time I watch it.

by Miss Crawfordreply 3411/14/2011

Raining sheep {starts 1:35}

[quote]It is so hilarious that I nearly piss myself every time I watch it.

MARY. It was mildly entertaining at best. zzzz

by Miss Crawfordreply 3511/14/2011

R35 is too dense to understand that it is a funny disaster on all levels.

by Miss Crawfordreply 3611/14/2011

Yeah, zzz at best.

by Miss Crawfordreply 3702/11/2013

Sorry to bump this old thread but HOW did we miss this?

Rosie adopted a new white child with the current wife/fiance

by Miss Crawfordreply 3802/21/2013

When celebs kids are born nannies take care of them. When old enough, get shipped off to boarding school. Can't let kids get in the way of their careers.

by Miss Crawfordreply 3902/21/2013

I don't even like kids -- but even I can tell that's a beautiful baby.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4002/21/2013

Don't you fools know that rich people always send their kids to boarding school especially if there are no fancy private schools near where they live? You guys act like it's to get rid of the kid -- it's not. My friends that went to boarding school couldn't wait to get there.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4102/21/2013

At least the daughter is safe from that predatory lesbian.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4202/21/2013

Well, it's not like she didn't have it coming.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4302/21/2013

"Basically, when she's not on camera she's a bossy, bra-less, belching bitch."

Good for her.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4402/21/2013

That clip with It's Rainig Sheep was unintentionally hilarious. God, what a hot mess of a show.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4502/21/2013

Are you being sarcastic, R40?

by Miss Crawfordreply 4602/21/2013

The daughter is probably better off away from that mess. I understand from people in the know that Ro-Ro can be pretty toxic.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4702/21/2013

Most, not all, of those Hollywood types only have kids for publicity and People Magazine photo ops. As soon as the shutterbugs disappear, the kids are carted back off to boarding school. Trust me, I was the child of an actor and actress you're likely very familiar with. We were nothing but photo ops when we were young. As adults, neither my siblings or I have any connection to the man and woman who fucked and created us. I am very close to my siblings and we are all well-adjusted adults, surprisingly. Our parents, who are long-divorced, probably do not even remember us, since our usefulness expired years ago. They were very career-oriented and self-centered. I don't miss them at all. These showbiz kids never know their parents (which is probably for the better with self-centered showbiz type parents). They are in boarding schools because the parents are too busy with their careers to bother raising children. Rosie is probably not one of those who had children for publicity, I don't picture her being the type, but who knows?

by Miss Crawfordreply 4802/21/2013

Many times it's a good thing that fucked-up show business parents send their kids off to school like rich society people do.

by Miss Crawfordreply 4902/21/2013

Great post, R48 and I'm glad you came out of it alive. Whenever I see the latest media storm about a celebrity baby it makes me sick. Celebrities are narcissists and should not be allowed to raise children.

I don't think Rosie adopted them for publicity as much as she thought she was helping a child and probably something having to do with the effects of the death of her own mother. Valid reasons but she's a celebrity and not the most stable of people so she's not a good candidate for motherhood.

by Miss Crawfordreply 5002/21/2013

Okay, so who is R48? Rumor, is that you?

by Miss Crawfordreply 5102/21/2013

R48--can you give us a hint?

by Miss Crawfordreply 5202/21/2013

R51, No, I am a male. I am not in the public eye, nor do I, or my siblings, wish to be. We have no contact with those who spawned us and receive no money or even phone calls, etc., from them. None of us have spoken to them since our mid-late teens (quite a few years ago). All of us are completely estranged from the actor and actress in question. None of us live anywhere near L.A. (or any epicenter of the entertainement world) so maybe that's why we're well adjusted, gainfully employed and happy. Another poster was correct. Celebs should not have children if they do not intend to be there for them and raise them properly.

by Miss Crawfordreply 5302/21/2013

R48, thanks for sharing. Might I ask what your childhood was like? Sounds like you went to boarding school but did you have nannies, etc.? When did you realize your parents were different than other parents and your childhood wasn't like others? And how did you manage to get away in your mid-teens?

by Miss Crawfordreply 5402/21/2013

R54 - My childhood was "different". I hated being hauled around so the actress could impress everyone by how great a mother she was in addition to being a well-known actress. There were nannies when we were young, but once we went off to school, we rarely went to the actor and actresses' home. When we did, it was for a quick swoop into town for photo ops, then back on the plane we went. The boarding school part was actually great. I had great teachers, great friends and my siblings were there too. From our mid-late teens, we were kind of forgotten by those who created us, because we no longer wanted to take part in their facade. This really didn't go over too well with them, but c'est la vie. Contact for the rest of our schooling was very limited. They paid for our schooling and once we were done, that was it. They didn't even attend our graduations. We did get gifts shipped to us, though. We spent our school holidays with friends from school and their families. No one in my current life (friends, co-workers,etc.), including my partner, knows the identity of my parents. My siblings and I have completely disavowed all links to that life.

by Miss Crawfordreply 5502/21/2013

[quote] When celebs kids are born nannies take care of them. When old enough, get shipped off to boarding school. Can't let kids get in the way of their careers.

I completely agree! (And I adopted mine.)

by Miss Crawfordreply 5602/21/2013

Oops, I just noticed my error on my post at R53. Before anyone corrects me, I promise I know how to spell "entertainment", lol.

by Miss Crawfordreply 5702/21/2013

R55, are both your parents still alive? What have you told your friends and partners about your family? Do you have a whole elaborate fake history?

by Miss Crawfordreply 5802/21/2013

by Miss Crawfordreply 5902/21/2013

r48 / r51 you sound like a lovely person. I'm glad you are ok.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6002/21/2013

R48 sounds like an EST. Here's why:

There are very few acting couples from the 50's to the 80's who were 1.) together long enough to spawn at least three bio kids 2.) both parents were actors, famous enough that you'd recognize them 3.) have no relationship with their adult kids at all.

The few guesses I came up with didn't have 3 or more kids, or if they did, they were by different spouses. Others were eliminated because they still have contact with at least one of their adult kids and there are family photographs on-line of them together. Lot's of other actors and actresses have three+ kids and are divorced, but the spouse was not an actor. The thing that makes this BI seem the most fake is the fact that he said his parents are both recognizable famous actors. There are not a lot of famous acting couples that have had three + children together..........oh, and they are both still alive.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6102/21/2013

R61 Damn, you're mean! Somebody poured their heart out and gave some good feedback and you call them a troll or a liar. Maybe that acting couple was in television, not film. It wasn't specified. I think you're just pissed because the poster didn't give more hints as to their identity. He obviously doesn't want anyone to know. I don't recall the poster ever saying that the acting couple in question is still together or not or if BOTH are still alive. Give him the benefit, dude. My parents were not in show business, but my brothers and I have been estranged from them for years. It's quite possible that all of the children are estranged from them. Chill, dude.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6202/21/2013

r 48 You are full of it! No one would ever have a kid for publicity.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6302/21/2013

I believe R61.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6402/21/2013

R61 Just fuck off. It's people like you that stop people from giving good gossip. Because of idiots like you, they figure nobody will believe them, so they don't bother.

Thanks for the story R48!

by Miss Crawfordreply 6502/21/2013

I agree r65 and even if it is a made up story it still explains how children of celebs think and are treated, and it entertained me. I think it is real though.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6602/21/2013

Amateur @ R62. Let me help you:

Both your questions (1. parents alive or dead, 2. still together or not) are answered in his post @ R48.

[quote]Our parents, who are long-divorced, probably do not even remember us.

He states repeatedly that he has no contact with THEM. (side note-- he went OTT in saying his parents probably don't remember 3 bio kids they spawned and financially supported for 20 years---stupid).

Both parents are recognizable actors. It's a simple fact that there are no famous acting couples (famous enough for frequent photo ops in People magazine) who have had no contact with three+ adult bio kids. Who said anything about film vs. TV, R62? Not him, not me.

Maybe he lied about the facts to conceal himself. Maybe the parents aren't famous actors, but famous....something else (musicians??). Maybe they aren't famous at all, but just rich, neglectful parents. But the story, as presented, is false.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6702/21/2013

Sorry to burst your fantasy bubble, R65/66.

Maybe you could do a little sleuthing of your own and come up with the names of the famous acting couple who abandoned their three kids.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6802/21/2013

Read it again "LIKELY" to know. It could be Broadway, it could be television.

Whoring out the kids didn't start with Angelina & Brad.

It could be actor parents from the 40's.

by Miss Crawfordreply 6902/21/2013

Okay, R69. Who then? What broadway couple is so famous that they are not only recognizable to most people, but they are regularly featured in People magazine with their adorable brood?

That can't be a very long list even going all the way back to the 40's.

by Miss Crawfordreply 7002/21/2013

I would sing them to sleep and their ears would bleed. What else could I do but send them away?

by Miss Crawfordreply 7102/21/2013

Why shouldn't Rosie put her daughter in boarding school? She's has the financial means and LOVES her daughter. She wants the best for her. Boarding school is wonderful for children. Let's say that I am very close to this story and I know for a FACT that Rosie LOVES her daughter and is doing everything she can to give her the very best. She sees her daughter all the time. Mind your own BEESWAX, people. All celebrities are not sinister freaks.

by Miss Crawfordreply 7202/21/2013

Thanks Gina at r72. But you better get back to school now, they don't take truancy lightly when you are in 4th grade, which you fucking must be to say "beeswax".

by Miss Crawfordreply 7302/21/2013

Do we think Rosie is a better mother than Shirley MacLaine?

Shirley was indifferent as hell but I don't think she went into rages.

by Miss Crawfordreply 7402/21/2013

Isn't 'Gina Garrett' (R72) the character Rosie O. played in "Another Stakeout"? It was, if I remember correctly.

by Miss Crawfordreply 7502/21/2013

[quote]come up with the names of the famous acting couple who abandoned their three kids.

Some actors even abandon their kids when they're toddlers!

by Miss Crawfordreply 7602/21/2013

According to IMDB, yes. Gina Garrett was Rosie in that movie. R72, Hi, Rosie! Love your work!

by Miss Crawfordreply 7702/21/2013

Stallone didn't seem to have much contact with his son that died.

Maybe he prefers his young daughters.

by Miss Crawfordreply 7802/21/2013

The Revoltas stigmatized the son that had autism. They also said he had "Kawasaki's disease", they never treated him for Autism and it really IS their fault he died.

by Miss Crawfordreply 7902/21/2013

[quote]Why shouldn't Rosie put her daughter in boarding school? She's has the financial means

We know--you have MILL-YUNS and MILL-YUNS!

[quote]and LOVES her daughter.

And absence makes the heart grow fonder!

[quote]She wants the best for her.

The very BEST boarding schools are indeed in Utah, I understand!

[quote]Boarding school is wonderful for children.

Plus, they have the added convenience of being pretty distant from Mom's homes in New York and Miami!

[quote]Let's say that I am very close to this story

We know you are, Rosie.

[quote]and I know for a FACT that Rosie LOVES her daughter and is doing everything she can to give her the very best.

Oh, we see this too--nothing says "I love you enough to give you the very best" quite like sending your daughter off to deepest, darkest Utah.

[quote]She sees her daughter all the time.

Why, sometimes it's as often as TWICE, or even THREE TIMES, a year!

[quote]Mind your own BEESWAX, people.

You seem a little puzzled about the whole concept of a board that advertises itself as providing "gay gossip."

[quote]All celebrities are not sinister freaks.

No one would ever call you that, Rosie.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8002/21/2013

R61 Let me enlighten you. Famous Hollywood couples are often photographed with their "adult children" at events. Has it ever occurred to you that some of those "adult children" may be hired hands and not the actual children they gave birth to back when? It's called "show business" for a reason. Everything is a facade and everything is for show in Hollyweird. I know of at least two Hollywood actresses who have "hired children" to escort them to events when they want to appear stable and "motherly". Their real children are estranged from their mothers. In one of those cases, the two children became dopers and are not fit to be seen with the actress. Remember the key word: SHOW Business. Not everything is at it seems. Just because you see a picture of a Hollywood Mommy on the front of the Enquirer with her beloved children, doesn't mean that that is reality. Wake up.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8102/22/2013

LOL @ R81. So, who is the famous acting couple?

by Miss Crawfordreply 8202/22/2013

R82 I do not know who the acting couple in question is, but I find the story quite believeable based on some of the things I am aware of in Movieland. I cannot discuss many things I know (I could lose my job, so I can't name names). You would be astounded. I promise you that.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8302/22/2013

R83 I agree. People would be amazed.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8402/22/2013

Yes, in reality Rosie is straight and happily married to Tom Selleck.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8502/22/2013

R85 I thought Rosie was still married to Tom Arnold. I'm confused. I guess I must Google. Nah, I'm actually not that interested.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8602/22/2013

A youngish "adult actor" is hired to walk the red carpet as an older actresses son. Little does anyone know that the actor is wildly ambitious and manipulates what should have been a non-issue photo op into a national media moment, thus assuring his status as her son. This was his idea all along, that he's make a name for himself and force the rich actress to fund his lavish, fame-seeking lifestyle and ambitions by holding her hostage to the lie she was so willing to create. Naturally, the drug addict real son is out there, and he (and his girlfriend) decided they are going to out them all. The PR team, the actress, the fake son, and the studios have to work double time to shut the real son out. Breaking into Hollywood is hard, but breaking back in is even harder.

A dark comedy about manipulation, deceti, lies, appearances and fame that gets rewritten by the studios and turned into a heartwarming tale of redemption and a mother love.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8702/22/2013

R87 You WOULD be surprised.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8802/22/2013

R61 - I believe R48. I think he may have changed a small detail or two to protect his identity. Case in point, as soon as you read his story, you jumped onto Google and tried to discover the identity of the abandoning actor parents (and I'm sure you weren't the only one). I think he was being truthful, for the most part. He was telling us how it can be, and protecting his identity. He does not want to be in the public eye. I, for one, believe the story.

by Miss Crawfordreply 8902/22/2013

Boarding schools are great, I got to live with a bunch of white girls, so I was reared properly. Of course I had to live over a kitchen, but it wasn't racist. Even my rich roommate lived over the kitchen.

Oh the joys of my childhood with my fat best friend and this new girl who was poor. I was at first afraid the poor girl was a lesbian but I was wrong.

I even had a disabled friend. It seemed like every week we learned a new life lesson.

And my housemother, well she was a nurse and a dietitian too.

I'm sorry if you think boarding school is bad, I loved it.

by Miss Crawfordreply 9002/22/2013

R90 Hi, Tootie. What a surprise seeing you here. I ran into Jo at Wal-Mart on Saturday. No news on Blair lately. Call me, it's been ages, girl.

by Miss Crawfordreply 9102/22/2013

Martin Landau & Barbara Bain?

Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme?

Robert Wagner & Natalie Wood?

Richard Benjamin & Paula Prentiss?

Rock Hudson & Jim Nabors?

Desi Arnaz & Lucille Ball?
