I don't get it. How does she look so good? She's in her 60s.
If it were just plastic surgery, why don't other celebrities who are decades younger look as good? She's hardly A-list so it's not like she can afford better surgeons than, say, Madonna.
|by Anonymous||reply 95||10/29/2014|
HOw the hell would we know? I suspect she is a vampire who baths in the blood of a virgin, which is supposed to retain youthful looks per Coast to Coast late night radio.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||10/15/2011|
Synthetic skin. Seriously.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||10/15/2011|
Morgan has not appeared in public in years. She has found a double of herself, who is around 35 years old. This double appears in public as Morgan Fairchild.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||10/15/2011|
I met her, and while she's indeed stunning, I did notice wire lifts under her eyebrows.
Morgan's had some good work done. And up close, you can see it.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||10/15/2011|
I just googled her and she looks ridiculous. Frozen faced and absurd. The difference between her and Madonna is that she's fatter and doesn't have Madonna's scraggy arms and scary exercise-induced veins.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||10/15/2011|
I also met her about five years ago and she is beautiful in person. She has had work done and her face shows her age up close. I recall something weird about under her eyes but I cannot recall what it was. Her makeup was perfect and her hair, too.
She was the nicest person, though. Sweet and thoughtful. I left with a little crush on her.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||10/15/2011|
She is also very politically astute. She took over for one of the hosts on Air America around election time last Presidential election and I was lucky enough to hear her host the show. She is very intelligent as well as good looking.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||10/15/2011|
I've always heard that women who don't have kids age better than those who do. And it's true from what I can see - bearing and raising kids takes a huge toll.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||10/15/2011|
R8, anything to give you an indication the gay rumors are true (other than your crush, which might just mean you picked up a little gaydar)
|by Anonymous||reply 11||10/15/2011|
Fairchild looked great a few years on the ultra-camp telenovela Fashion House.
Maybe just great surgery and lighting but she looked wonderful--better (and younger) than her co-star Bo Derek although Morgan is actually the older of the two.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||10/15/2011|
Who else could rock this?
Turban: check (and SNAP!)
|by Anonymous||reply 14||10/15/2011|
Love Morgan!!!!!! She should have been a bigger star. I would still hire her for a starring role in a sitcom if I ran a network. She's great at comedy(camp) and drama!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 16||10/15/2011|
She doesn't smoke or drink and never has.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||10/15/2011|
[quote]She's actually a witch.
Oh please, stay in the witch thread. Please.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||10/15/2011|
I love that her real name is Patsy Ann McClenny.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||10/15/2011|
I "discovered" her in 1973, when she played Jennifer Pace, nutso blonde having an affair with Jo's sister Eunice's husband John Wyatt, & she eventually murdered Eunice. She was strikingly beautiful, of course, but she was also chilling as the crazed younger woman obsessed with the married man. I was impressed & expected to see lots more of her than I have.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||10/15/2011|
R20, I never saw much of the actual show but it seemed like they ran commercials about her constantly on CBS. I remember some big fight and her screaming, "Lies all lies!" and then crashing through a sliding glass door.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||10/15/2011|
[quote]I "discovered" her in 1973, when she played Jennifer Pace, nutso blonde having an affair with Jo's sister Eunice's husband John Wyatt, & she eventually murdered Eunice.
I remember a spectacular scene where she fell through a plate-glass door.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||10/15/2011|
Madonna has had a much more stressful life, what with having a thriving and successful career and all. Morgan Fairchild hasn't worked in...I don't even know how long. It seems like she's one of those people who are famous for being famous. I don't even know one thing she's done.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||10/15/2011|
Loved Flamingo Road (early 80s). Always rooted for her bad, bad girl Constance Caryle, never ever saint, ex-hooker Lane Ballou.
1:50 mark.... Morgan and Mark Harmon.

My mom watched that soap when I was a kid, I think she shot Eunice when she was in a boat. Remember watching it at the neighbors during coffee hour.
Loved her in Flamingo Road!
|by Anonymous||reply 27||10/15/2011|
Donna Mills is the real revelation. Why not start a thread for THAT goddess?
|by Anonymous||reply 28||10/15/2011|
I got into Search For Tomorrow for a while in the summer of '75 when Jennifer crashed through the sliding door. She had light red hair back then, the same color as Ann-Margret's which I thought looked really good on her.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||10/15/2011|
always thought she was the cat's pajamas. something very very likable about her.

As in Wisconsin?
|by Anonymous||reply 32||10/15/2011|
R26, fuck yes, I loved "Flamingo Road"!
|by Anonymous||reply 33||10/15/2011|
Fucking hoot how Racine hated kids.
Racine to Nicolette's tempermental character.... "Thank you for reminding me why I never had kids."
Obviously, some gay wrote that line!
|by Anonymous||reply 34||10/15/2011|
I love how t.v. show intros used to be almost 2 minutes long.
WHET to our attention spans?
|by Anonymous||reply 35||10/16/2011|
yes r26 I completely agree! I loved Flamingo Road and, even though, I was seriously young it is the first show I remember being upset about its cancellation.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||10/16/2011|
Maybe she doesn't drink, but my late Mom's boyfriend once returned home from a bar in Manhattan claiming he had spent an hour or longer flirting with her.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||10/16/2011|
Here she is at the Hollywood autograph Show just last week. She's at 1:40 in.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||10/16/2011|
Is she acting less these days?
|by Anonymous||reply 41||10/17/2011|
Let's be honest, she's hotter at 60 than many of you will be at 35.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||10/17/2011|
This interview made me love her even more. She sure loves her gays!
|by Anonymous||reply 43||10/26/2011|
She just seems like the coolest person ever.
As for looking so great at her age - of course she's had work done, but genetics must also have something to do with it. Also, she's never had drug or alcohol issues and I don't believe she's ever smoked.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||10/26/2011|
On SFT, when her character Jennifer murdered beloved heroine Eunice, it really caused shockwaves. Viewers were up in arms.
Youtube really is amazing:
|by Anonymous||reply 45||10/26/2011|
I watched Flamingo Road when I was a kid. I loved Constance!!! It's because of her that Flamingo Road is even remembered at all. And I remember getting so excited when Constance and Sam Curtis had a brief fling in a cheap motel one episode:
|by Anonymous||reply 46||10/26/2011|
The last time I saw her she was playing Sandra Bernhard's lesbian lover Marla on Roseanne.

|by Anonymous||reply 50||10/27/2011|
Who's got some gossip about my high school fave.
|by Anonymous||reply 51||05/05/2013|
The reason is that she always looked 35 years old. Look at her in "The Initiation of Sarah"-she comes off as years older (in both bearing and demeanor) than the other actresses. So it's hard to see her as aging when she always came across as a certain age.
|by Anonymous||reply 52||05/05/2013|
Flamingo Road ROCKED
I always wanted Constance to forgive Lute Mae.
|by Anonymous||reply 53||05/05/2013|
There was a movie I saw on TV prior to Natalie Wood's death in which Morgan Fairchild also appeared. It was a good movie and took place on a cruise ship.
The thing that stands out in my memory about it is that the ship filled with water (don't remember why) and Natalie Wood's character drowned in her room. There was a scene showing her clothed and floating in water. Creepily prescient it was.
Does anyone else remember that movie or that scene?
|by Anonymous||reply 54||05/05/2013|
In the 70s when she was new, she would stay at the Plaza hotel by Central Park and phone the Post and Daily news to send photogs over at 1PM when she'd be leaving the hotel. They never came and she was later found in the Walnut Room pretty sauced.
|by Anonymous||reply 55||05/05/2013|
She has a self-portrait in her attic.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||05/05/2013|
Actually, she did Old Navy commercials a few years ago. That's the only thing I know her from.
|by Anonymous||reply 57||05/05/2013|
She has the original LA nose. It's been copied ever since the 80's.
|by Anonymous||reply 58||05/05/2013|
sHUT UP, R55. She doesn't drink.
|by Anonymous||reply 59||05/05/2013|
She looks incredible. And thank god she didn't get the inflated duck lips.
|by Anonymous||reply 60||05/05/2013|

|by Anonymous||reply 61||05/05/2013|
>>R6>>I met her, and while she's indeed stunning, I did notice wire lifts under her eyebrows.
What are wire lifts?
|by Anonymous||reply 62||05/05/2013|
is it like the lifestyle lift?
|by Anonymous||reply 63||05/05/2013|
[quote]Does anyone else remember that movie or that scene?
"The Memory of Eva Ryker"
|by Anonymous||reply 65||05/05/2013|
Nose is good, especially for a 70s one. A little small and thin but they're still done like that for many.
Breasts are ridic though, not badly done but OTT. Either way she was always stunning, I thought she was perfect when I was a kid.
I loved her in that TV movie parody Based on an Untrue Story.
|by Anonymous||reply 66||05/05/2013|
I loved her as the bitch in The Initation of Sarah. (TV movie from the 70's)
|by Anonymous||reply 67||05/05/2013|
[quote]Plus, Fairchild never had children. The relatives I have who never had kids seem to age better.
Yep, she didn't stress her body and she didn't have the stress of raising and worrying about the brats.
|by Anonymous||reply 68||05/05/2013|
Thank you #65. I read the movie was pulled from syndication because it dealt with a woman who had nightmares about drowning. Natalie Wood played two parts, the woman who drowned and her daughter, less an a year before she died.
|by Anonymous||reply 69||05/06/2013|
"I read the movie was pulled from syndication because it dealt with a woman who had nightmares about drowning."
You mean there was actually a time when television had a conscience?
|by Anonymous||reply 70||05/06/2013|
The character of Constance Weldon(Flamingo Road) ranked #16 on E's most wicked women in primetime.
But, I PROTEST. Constance wasn't really evil, just bad! And spoiled.
|by Anonymous||reply 72||06/11/2013|
No, r71, she is not gay. Lesbians like to think that because of her character on Roseanne and because she never had children.
However, she is straight. As Morgan has said... "I've had my share of lovers" and I'm here to tell you that they have all been male.
In her flamingo Road days, she was hot and heavy with cameraman Craig Denault. Even dedicated her 80s makeup and beauty book to him.
|by Anonymous||reply 73||06/11/2013|
Glycerine. Gallons of it. And a little touch of star quality.
|by Anonymous||reply 74||06/11/2013|
Just saw her in a terrible gay-themed movie. She looked pretty good.
|by Anonymous||reply 75||06/11/2013|
[quote]She was a real hoot with Bo Derek on the all time cheeze fest Fashion House. And looked fabulous.
Fashion House is the best campy show that is almost totally unknown, even among gays. I've rarely ever heard it mentioned on DL and it was all beautiful men and bitchy divas.
Derek was Maria Gianni, a prettier Donatella Vercase, running a maison de couture. Her archenemy Sophia was played by MF. Dynasty had one catfight a season, but Fashion House had one every other day. It was indeed a hoot.
And though Bo was younger in real life, Morgan photographed better.
|by Anonymous||reply 76||06/11/2013|
Morgan fucking rocked as bad girl Constance Caryle Weldon.
Oh, those fucking carefree high school days!
|by Anonymous||reply 77||06/01/2014|
Yes she is a lesbian. I know her and Donna Mills and they are both ladies who love ladies.
|by Anonymous||reply 78||06/01/2014|
Morgan is not gay. She's been with the same guy for some 20 yrs now.
|by Anonymous||reply 79||06/01/2014|
Wow that Search for Tomorrow clip..I know it's from the 70s, but it seems more 80s.
I loved her on Mork & Mindy when I was a kid.
She's smart, funny, and down with gays--she should be DL royalty!
|by Anonymous||reply 80||06/02/2014|
Morgan Fairchild and Donna Mills are two smart and sexy cookies.
|by Anonymous||reply 81||06/02/2014|
Morgan is bullshit-free. She's always been one of the standout "it" girls. Morgan's got it.
|by Anonymous||reply 82||06/02/2014|
"I'll see you in hell"
I will always remember her saying that on Flamingo Road
|by Anonymous||reply 83||06/02/2014|
Constance did have a bit of a temper.
|by Anonymous||reply 84||06/03/2014|
If they were born Sagittarians, that explains most of it.
|by Anonymous||reply 85||06/03/2014|
I adore Morgan--she's sharp as well as glamorous. But the most recent gig I caught of hers--as spokesperson for early burial planning (Hey,it's a paycheck!)-- for the first time she's looking overly tightened or botoxed. Hopefully that will settle a bit.
|by Anonymous||reply 86||06/03/2014|
SCTV (Catherine O'Hara) does Morgan Fairchild
|by Anonymous||reply 87||06/03/2014|
The plastic look is good, right?
|by Anonymous||reply 88||06/04/2014|
More Flamingo Road up on youtube.
Some great shots of Morgan. I love how she looks at the 2:10 mark. Just Stunning!
2:45 Harmon in just pajama bottoms. I know some on here get off on bare feet.
|by Anonymous||reply 89||08/09/2014|
She's starting to get that embalmed look -- appropriate, I guess, since she's now shilling for burial insurance on those old-person satellite channels. She sounds like she's had a stroke or she's trying to emulate Deven Green as Brendad Ickson.
|by Anonymous||reply 91||10/28/2014|
Has anyone seen Donna Mills on GH lately? She looks utterly amazing. She's had work done (eyes, facelift) and you can tell she does wigs but it is all so subtle that you can barely detect it. She is the master of understatement. She's also taken extremely good care of herself, which accounts for alot (surgery does so much).
|by Anonymous||reply 92||10/28/2014|
Fairchild was on a hilarious daily telenovela a while back called Fashion House. Think Dynasty as played by the Versace family. But if Dynasty had one catfight per season, Fashion House had one per week.
Anyway, Morgan's nemesis, Maria Gianni, was played by Bo Derek and Morgan--who's older--still looked better than Derek.
|by Anonymous||reply 93||10/28/2014|
LOVED Fashion House! The gays, the studs, Morgan vs Bo, cheesy product placement. And some of the actors actually went to somewhat better gigs.
|by Anonymous||reply 94||10/28/2014|
Plus, Donna has probably fucked Satan himself and made some deal to look 30 years younger.
|by Anonymous||reply 95||10/29/2014|
