Back in the 80s, he looked good in a Speedo.

It's also Gavin Creel's birthday, born April 18, 1976.

RKK's oblong nips turned me gay.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||04/18/2011|
It's my birthday, too! But I'm 40, so it doesn't count...

Happy Birthday! R4 -- 40 sounds pretty young to me.
Today is also the birthday of the 1906 earthquake & fire in San Francisco.

Philip II of Macedon was born April 18, 382 BCE. Philip was the Greek military genius who served as king from 359 BCE until his assassination in 336. He was the father of Alexander the Great, Philip III and possibly Ptolemy I. %0D %0D Philip II pursued hunky young men all his life. His death came at the hand of a vengeful ex-lover who had been spurned by the king for a prettier boy.%0D

Is the teenage jailbait he married after meeting her on DAYS even 30 yet?
|by Anonymous||reply 7||04/18/2011|
She was 20 when she married him, R7.

What ever happened to him?
|by Anonymous||reply 11||04/18/2011|
RKK is working as an airplane mechanic. He retired from showbiz. Does anyone have good memories working with him other than Lisa Rinna, who married the priggish Harry Hamlin. %0D %0D %0D The last role he had was on GH as Stavros Cassadine, ex-husband of Laura Spencer. Zero chemistry between him and Genie Francis, who was older than him (Stavros had been frozen in ice for years and thus the aging process was delayed ... ridiculous).

Gorgeous as Sam on AW. He was sex on a stick.
And then he butched up even more and made the role of Bo his own on Days. And he was even hotter in that role.
But apparently had alcohol/drug problems as well as temper/anger issues. Was not a pleasant person to work with from all accounts.
Hope he's dealt with his demons.

Didn't he play Beau Brady's evil twin Stavros on Days of Our Lives?
|by Anonymous||reply 14||04/18/2011|
Read r12's post, r14. %0D %0D And yes, he was a relevation of sexiness when he started on AW. %0D %0D Screencaps at link (one of which include a shot of the soles of his feet for us foot freaks):

LOL @ Rinna!!!!!! Silly cow.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||04/18/2011|
He's 50 if he's a day and he was the biggest queen of all time. Truly tragic facial hair, too.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||04/18/2011|
That he and Brian Bloom never played brothers is the casting crime of the century.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||04/18/2011|
He threw a chair at Sandra Ferguson (ex Amanda, AW).
|by Anonymous||reply 19||04/18/2011|
What a douche bag of a name!
|by Anonymous||reply 20||04/18/2011|
He used to joke that it must be very warm in Sam's apartment since he never had clothes on. I had a major crush on him during his first stint on AW.
Incidentally, the producers must not have thought he was too much of a pain since they hired him a second time to play a different character.
Now, on DOOL, I can see where there may have been issues but no one wanted him playing Bo.

A google image search brings up a lot of nelly poses. What's the deal with the double surname? Macho is not his middle name.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||04/19/2011|
Yeah, he waited until his future wife's 18th birthday until they went out, but he was close to 30. That's just plain wrong and creepy.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||04/19/2011|
Only to a probable hypocrite, r23.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||04/19/2011|
He's back as Stavros. We all thought it would be Stefan or Victor coming back...wrong!I can't believe that Robert Kelker Kelly is doing it.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||04/10/2013|
I guessed this one. Yea me.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||04/10/2013|
RKK has been deliciously camp so far. He makes Cesar Romero look restrained as The Joker I tell you in comparison.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||04/12/2013|
Never could stand that guy on AW. Happy to see him leave (both times)
|by Anonymous||reply 28||04/12/2013|
[quote] Incidentally, the producers must not have thought he was too much of a pain since they hired him a second time to play a different character.
That was John Valente. He was not there when RKK came back a 2nd time. Jill Farren Phelps was the one that hired him, along with NBC because of his popularity on Days.
Being a FOJ KKK later got hired on GH

THe best comic performnace ever on daytime by RKK. He really camped it up to the nth degree. His last protrayal as Stavros was more evil, his latest one was pure camp and then some.
