Lots of shots of Fabio and other twinks in their underwear.
New David DeCoteau trailer starring ''SURVIVOR'' winner Fabio
|by Anonymous||reply 94||03/08/2013|
This is why old white gay men shouldn't make movies. White briefs,and blond boys walking in a trace. Look quick or you'll miss 1958!
|by Anonymous||reply 1||01/08/2011|
That man just has absolutely no desire to make a good film.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||01/08/2011|
Fabio is hot though.
Now we know why he was so comfortable walking around in his underwear in 'Survivor'!
|by Anonymous||reply 3||01/08/2011|
Does Fabio love the gays?
|by Anonymous||reply 4||01/08/2011|
That trailer makes the movie sound like a confusing mess.%0D %0D With not enough male nudity.%0D %0D
|by Anonymous||reply 5||01/08/2011|
R4, according to other sites I've read, he is gay-friendly, yes.
Is it possible that he is gay or bi?
|by Anonymous||reply 6||01/08/2011|
I have enjoyed some of the other DeCoteau movies but this looks really bad. Fabio looked better on Survivor.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||01/08/2011|
Can someone list some other DeCoteau movies?%0D
|by Anonymous||reply 8||01/08/2011|
We've only seen an excerpt of it so far, R7.
It looks like there is a shower scene of Fabio and lots of shots of his ass in briefs.
I'd say that's pretty good
|by Anonymous||reply 9||01/08/2011|
Sorry Davey, Tightie Whities will never make a comeback. Boxer Briefs are here to stay.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||01/08/2011|
I love tightie whities. On the right guy. They can be very, very sexy.%0D %0D I don't understand the general contempt shown for them. I really don't.%0D %0D Boxers are just ugly.%0D %0D Boxer Briefs do rock though.%0D %0D
|by Anonymous||reply 11||01/08/2011|
I'm awaiting the review from Rex Reed.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||01/08/2011|
Is this one of those digital shorts from an SNL episode?
|by Anonymous||reply 13||01/08/2011|
I see nothing hot, nor sexy about Fabio.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||01/08/2011|
They look fake and like an underwear commercial. Okay, a weird underwear commercial. Those tighty whities are too clean and whitey for that age male.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||01/08/2011|
Well I do, R14. I can't help it. I loved watching him on this season's Survivor. His handsome face, toned body and cute little butt made it worth watching.
Do you think he's been with a guy?
|by Anonymous||reply 16||01/08/2011|
David DeCoteau just makes the same movie over and over. Change up some of the 'actors' and change the title and *voila* another movie made.%0D %0D Frankly, I think he casts based on who will fit in the underwear, which is the only thing that remains exactly the same in each move.%0D %0D Oh wait, there was that one movie where they wore SPEEDOS ! Never mind.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||01/08/2011|
Is Fabio gay? I'm skeptical a heterosexual male would play a character only in briefs the entire movie with 5+ males also only in briefs as his first movie after a publicity raising show like Survivor directed by a gay man and made for gay men.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||01/08/2011|
Why not show the guys' naked asses?
They do it in all sorts of mainstream movies, so why not in DeCoteau's?
is it possible there will be some nudity in this one?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||01/08/2011|
"his first movie after a publicity raising show like Survivor"
I'm pretty sure the movie was filmed BEFORE Survivor when he was starting out as a struggling actor.
That doesn't mean he isn't gay or bi, though.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||01/08/2011|
Sean Faris, Riley Smith, Hunter Ritter, Drew Fuller, & Glee's Cory Monteith had early roles in DeCoteau's Undie Epics.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||01/08/2011|
This is a bit different though. It's not just guys with their shirts off- there's actual gay text here.
I think Fabio's gay. No one's this "gay friendly". Ironically, he was much hotter on Survivor than in this clip. He's way too waxed, perfumed, and prettied up. The Breck girl hair has undergone one too many shampoos.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||01/08/2011|
I have nothing against white briefs, but those boys look like they're wearing DIAPERS!!
Davey, there is so much better underwear you could use!
There's bulge enhancing underwear, pouch underwear, etc.
There's Andrew Christian, there's N2N, there's DMK, there's so much nice looking underwear!
|by Anonymous||reply 23||01/08/2011|
"I think Fabio's gay. No one's this "gay friendly"."
Well that's interesting. We'll have to wait and see. Fabio has said up until now he is straight and likes women, but perhaps that was just to help his career?
|by Anonymous||reply 24||01/09/2011|
R24- perhaps. But keep in mind that he won Survivor, so he's a fairly wealthy young man now. One wonders, too, whether this peculiar underpants-wearing gay slasher movie is something one would do to help their career. It seems more like something a young, hot gay man would do for kicks and to get laid.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||01/09/2011|
R25, the movie was filmed before 'Survivor' when he was a struggling artist looking for work. It's not something he did after becoming famous, so there may not have been anything else available at the time.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||01/09/2011|
R26- which only proves my point. This isn't the vehicle that a struggling straight actor would choose to try to launch his career.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||01/09/2011|
'Fabio' is famous? I've never heard of him before. Now, Brad Pitt is famous; this guy's just some underwear model who went on a reality show that was over 5 years ago.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||01/09/2011|
Who watches these movies? Young gay guys who haven't worked up the nerve to watch a real porno? Guys who are really into soft core? Who?
Horror fans will go get a decent horror movie imho, and twink fans will watch a porno. There's probably a niche out there for gay horror, but Decoteau's films just look awful.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||01/09/2011|
[quote]That man just has absolutely no desire to make a good film.
Why should he ... when he makes a lot of money with intentionally BAD horror films, with homoerotic scenes that tease but never deliver nudity or sex (And I'd be willing to bet this one will be the same.) He's got a ready audience of fans for these, and a development deal with Here!TV that pretty much pays the bills.
The blurb on the YouTube posting says it will debut on VOD through cable systems. I assume he means pay-per-view, which would be new for him. Up to now, his films have gone directly to Here!TV, which is video on demand on most systems that carry it.
Here!TV is actually running a "profile" of DeCoteau now. which I haven't had a chance to see yet.
I used to be a big fan, since I like schlocky, bad horror films, and filmmakers who don't take themselves too seriously. I loved "Leeches!" and some of his earlier "Brotherhood" series films. But he lost me with "Beastly Boyz" which was just too fucking strange, on many levels.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||01/09/2011|
He must be totally low rent. If he was a bigger player, I'd expect to hear all kinds of stories about him and his cheesy productions.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||01/09/2011|
Here's the movie poster from DeCoteau's site - it's advertised as "A Supernatural Thriller For Girls!"
|by Anonymous||reply 32||01/09/2011|
R28, I think you are confusing Fabio with Ozzy. Fabio was not on Survivor 5 years ago - he is this season's new winner.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||01/09/2011|
I'm saying Survivor was over 5 years ago, R33. The only Fabio I'm aware of is the cheesy Bulgarian (or wherever he is from) who used to be the model for cheezy covers of romance novels in the 1980s. This guy I couldn't pick in a line-up.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||01/09/2011|
Survivor is not over. It's still one of CBS's top-rated shows.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||01/09/2011|
Still LOVE Survivor ...it's not over. Now, David DeCoteau films ?? They're over !%0D %0D For GIRLS ?? Puh-leeze.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||01/09/2011|
Fabio and his best friend on "Survivor," Ben, did not ping at all, despite being almost constantly together. Fabio did the film only for the money.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||01/09/2011|
R37, just because they did not 'ping' doesn't mean Fabio isn't gay. If Benry is straight, that's probably one reason there was no sexual tension.
Also add to that the fact that they were out in the wilderness fighting to get water and shelter and to keep from being eliminated. Not exactly a place for a lot of heavy sex.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||01/10/2011|
did Fabio's Survivor bio say he was an actor?
|by Anonymous||reply 39||01/10/2011|
I'm not sure, R39. I think it listed the fact that he was several things: musician/model/actor/student etc.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||01/10/2011|
So, does this movie feature the obligatory gay scene that is available in DeCoteau's productions for HereTV/Regent Media?
I remember I was bummed out that his very first Brotherhood movie didn't have a guy on guy scene (with the leader of the pack and his object of desire).
His earlier work is bad, but still has a kind of campy vibe to it. One of his earlier movies (Brotherhood 2?) featured an entire scene of guys showering in slow motion (IN SLOW MOTION!). And Voodoo Academy has guys touching themselves while being asleep.
However everything that comes after Leeches is just atrocious. The only thing that speaks in his favor is his talent for picking the perfect male (when you're into white muscular or swimmers build jocks) eye candy material for his features.
|by Anonymous||reply 41||01/10/2011|
I'm not sure what's in it, R41, other than what I've seen in the trailer.
What's interesting though is that DeCoteau did 'discover' Fabio before he became famous on 'Survivor', so he obviously still has an eye for finding cute twinks.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||01/10/2011|
gif of Fabio licking the knife:
|by Anonymous||reply 43||01/10/2011|
Fabio interviewed about his love of the YMCA in St. Louis:
|by Anonymous||reply 44||01/10/2011|
Thanks for the YMCA link. It's nice to see Jud doing some good back home in St. Louis.
|by Anonymous||reply 45||01/10/2011|
[quote] The only Fabio I'm aware of is the cheesy Bulgarian (or wherever he is from) who used to be the model for cheezy covers of romance novels in the 1980s.%0D %0D That Fabio is actually Italian. And he was big in the 90s--I briefly worked at one of the larger romance novel publishers at the time, and he was just starting to become a sensation at the time.%0D %0D I have a copy of DeCoteau's "Voodoo Academy," which is kind of hilarious for a second, and then just tedious.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||01/10/2011|
I did watch the profile of DeCoteau, which is currently showing on Here!TV OnDemand. He actually has over 70 credits as a director, starting with the campy Roger Korman-type horror films. He talks about making "quality" (for the money allotted to it, and the ridiculously short shooting schedule allowed) films. I remember him saying, on the commentary track on one of his films, that he often buys leftover film stock from other movie makers, to keep costs low. In the Here profile, he talks a lot about his first gay film, Leather Jacket Love Story, and some of the inexperienced actors he had cast who later made it big in films or TV (He didn't mention Cory from Glee, for some reason).
|by Anonymous||reply 47||01/10/2011|
"Premieres in Feb. on VOD via cable systems throughout the USA and Canada."
|by Anonymous||reply 48||01/10/2011|
Why it's exactly what I expected from David.
|by Anonymous||reply 49||01/10/2011|
Wooden acting, cheap looking, just like porn without the sex.
|by Anonymous||reply 50||01/10/2011|
But the fun of this is getting to see Fabio.
|by Anonymous||reply 51||01/10/2011|
A DeCoteau epic where a man actually touches another man without a naked woman between them? There is progress.
He does get his share of whatever the male equivalent of "starlet" is--Drew Fuller, Sam Page, Sean Faris, Josh Henderson and now Fabio.
|by Anonymous||reply 52||01/10/2011|
"Wolves of Wall Street" is pretty good, with Eric Roberts and "Clueless" star Elisa Donovan ("Amber"). I like his DeCoteau films, they're unique.
|by Anonymous||reply 53||01/10/2011|
hey, he gave work to Adrienne Barbeau. leave the man alone.
|by Anonymous||reply 54||01/10/2011|
Do you think anyone has had a piece of Fabio's twink ass?
|by Anonymous||reply 55||01/10/2011|
I kind of enjoy the coy teasing style of barely closeted homo-eroticism. Takes me back.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||01/10/2011|
Does Fabio have any make-out scenes with another guy? Anyone know?
|by Anonymous||reply 57||01/10/2011|
Unlikely, R57. That's not DeCoteau's style. His twinks are "straight." Some of them just seem to develop obsessions with other twinks. And you know how it is--sometimes bros like to share a ho.
|by Anonymous||reply 58||01/10/2011|
I love the idea that teen gay boys can watch these legally and get as titillated as straight teen boys do at all the GIRLS running around in bras and panties in mainstream shlock horror films.
|by Anonymous||reply 59||01/10/2011|
What self-respecting teen gay boy doesn't have a computer full of hardcore gay porn? It may be illegal to distribute it to them, but it's not illegal for them to watch it.
|by Anonymous||reply 60||01/10/2011|
r60. You are absolutely right. I guess I have some idealistic view of what MY teenhood in the 80s may have been like pre-internet.
|by Anonymous||reply 61||01/10/2011|
I wonder what it's like to be an actor on DeCoteau's set? What type of direction are they given?
"Okay boys, put on these white briefs and start walking back and forth in them".
|by Anonymous||reply 62||01/10/2011|
From the trailer it looks like they spend most of the movie in briefs. I wonder what plot device lead to this? Typically he can only manage isolated scenes.
|by Anonymous||reply 63||01/10/2011|
DeCoteau got a break when Fabio won SURVIVOR, too bad the film seems awful. How does DeCoteau get money for these vanilla movies?
|by Anonymous||reply 64||01/10/2011|
[quote]How does DeCoteau get money for these vanilla movies?%0D %0D He makes them for about twenty bucks a pop. I mean, the actors in them, while some are undeniably attractive, generally top out at bad community theater.%0D %0D And then the gays lap it up, and the cycle begins anew.
|by Anonymous||reply 65||01/10/2011|
I'd like to (consensually) tie Fabio to a bed, spread-eagle, and fuck him until he's unconscious. Just sayin'.
|by Anonymous||reply 66||01/10/2011|
1313 - isn't that Prince's former mansion?
|by Anonymous||reply 67||01/10/2011|
According to the posters on the Horsey's board, the mansion used in this film is the same one where Playboy films the "Foursome" series.
The interesting thing is that former Survivor contestant Ozzy had sex at that house.
|by Anonymous||reply 68||01/11/2011|
[quote]The interesting thing is that former Survivor contestant Ozzy had sex at that house.%0D %0D Time to revise your definition of "interesting," r68.
|by Anonymous||reply 69||01/11/2011|
Very, very few Survivor contestants go on to successful careers in show business. So Fabio/Jud has likely already peaked whether or not Ozzy and Jud had sex (separately) in that house.
|by Anonymous||reply 70||01/11/2011|
R70, I agree that most Survivor contestants are unlikely to become major stars.
However, Fabio is a winner and not just a contestant, plus he already has a charisma that many of them do not, and some minor connections in the entertainment and modeling world.
|by Anonymous||reply 71||01/11/2011|
Benry has posted a photo of him and Fabio doing karaoke:
|by Anonymous||reply 72||01/11/2011|
The name 'Fabio' should be enough to kill any career. What functioning adult allows themselves to be called this?
|by Anonymous||reply 73||01/11/2011|
Jud's whole game on SURVIVOR was to play under the radar. He was named a dumb blonde, a Fabio on the first show. That was exactly his plan... to seem dumb, not all that good at challenges and not much of a threat%0D in general.
|by Anonymous||reply 74||01/11/2011|
R73, it was his friends on Survivor who called him that - his real name is Judson.
But actually, Fabio has made him more famous and more popular than he would have been without the name, so I have to disagree.
The audience loved the name Fabio and as Jeff Probst said, he is also very popular with kids.
|by Anonymous||reply 75||01/11/2011|
The sex scenes of Ozzy and his nice uncut cock are online if anyone is interested
|by Anonymous||reply 76||01/13/2011|
Apparently Fabio is still in contact with David DeCoteau.
David posted recently that Fabio texted him on New Year's Eve wishing him a Happy New Year and thanking him for the opportunity to star in the movie.
|by Anonymous||reply 77||01/13/2011|
So is this proof that Survivor, Big Brother, etc. actively recruits aspiring models/actors to be on their shows instead of relying on the audition tapes that regular people send in? Like, you have to know someone to get on one of these shows?
|by Anonymous||reply 78||01/13/2011|
It seems to be about half and half. Some of the contestants are definitely recruited, and others are selected based on their own merit from the tapes they send in.
|by Anonymous||reply 79||01/13/2011|
Anyone met him?
|by Anonymous||reply 80||01/18/2011|
I've actually personally known three young actors from acting class who later went on to appear in DeCocteaus films.
Arthur Napiontek Taylor Graham David Flannery
I'm jealous that I'm probably too old to appear in any of his films, trashy as they are. But people I personally knew from my former peer group actually got appeared in his films, so they may actually move on to bigger and better things.
|by Anonymous||reply 81||01/26/2011|
actually got appeared...oh my
|by Anonymous||reply 82||01/26/2011|
Do you have to be gay to appear in his films, R81?
|by Anonymous||reply 83||01/26/2011|
My bad, I meant to say "got a part" and ended up writing "appeared."
Arthur Napiontek (who was also in PINEAPPLE EXPRESS) and Taylor M. Graham seem to be straight and have girlfriends. There's no reason to suspect them over any other attractive aspiring male actor of liking guys.
I believe it was Brotherhood VII where you see Arthur Napiontek making out with another guy, both wearing briefs. Hot scene, of course, their bulges remain about a foot apart from each other.
David Flannery, on the other hand... when I first looked at his myspace profile a few years ago, while his orientation said "Straight", his wallpaper had pictures of Abercrombie Models. David Flannery, while a pretty boy, is on the chubbier side, and he struck me as an Abercrombie Model wannabe, with all his professional photos and self-taken photos of himself. His myspace profile looked much like a gay teen's profile. He could very well be into guys, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's hooked up with guys. Very often, guys are attracted to what they want to be.
|by Anonymous||reply 84||01/26/2011|
"Seem to be straight" is the key. Most closeted men "seem to be straight". It's a world full of self loathing people who can't quite come to terms with who they really are. It's no different in the entertainment industry.
|by Anonymous||reply 85||01/26/2011|
So what about Fabio?
|by Anonymous||reply 86||01/27/2011|
R85... it's like the existence of God. There is no proof that the Hebrew god Yahweh exists. There is no proof that the Hebrew god Yahweh doesn't exist. However, the burden of proof lies with the people who claim Yahweh exists, not with the people who don't believe Yahweh exists. So by default, until there is evidence that demonstrates that Yawheh could exist, I assume that Yahweh doesn't exist. The same goes for leprechauns and unicorns.
So, these young actors appear to be straight. By default, most males appear to be straight. With the exception of David Flannery, I have not seen any evidence that leads me to believe that these young actors are possibly interested in guys sexually. Does that for sure mean they aren't interested in guys? No, but that's not where the burden of proof lies.
|by Anonymous||reply 87||01/27/2011|
I don't know... it looks like this might be pretty good.
|by Anonymous||reply 88||01/27/2011|
I think today was the day that DeCoteau's movie started to become available on VOD services.
Anyone order it yet?
|by Anonymous||reply 89||02/02/2011|

r87- ohh papa looey, we got us a looney!
|by Anonymous||reply 91||02/03/2011|
