replies 20Nov 29, 2017 4:00 PM +00:00

R20 In 30+ years I have kicked him down the stairs, put his head through a window and beat him and left him on the street (though I did go and find him at The Hospital). He has pretty much done the same but we have been much calmer for the past 15 years because we are too old.

I could write a horrible book. But we seem to like each other now....

I wanted to go into advertising -- a result of loving the show Bewitched as a kid -- and I did, first at a big ad agency, and then in-house for a fashion company. I am now, like someone who posted upstream, a not quite starving artist.

"Were you a hot cop? —Like in porn? With the tight state trooper pants?"

I look nice in my uniform, but I think I also would have been a pretty hot English teacher in Dockers and Clark Desert Boots. I'm not porn star grade, but I've been told I have a nice butt.

I wanted to be an actor. I'm unemployed.

I didn't want that side of a job in the legitimate theater.

replies 30Dec 6, 2017 12:41 PM +00:00

Artist and artist.

replies 31Dec 6, 2017 12:47 PM +00:00

I wanted to be out of the family business. I wanted to have a major role in the non profit arts world. I wanted to find a stable long term someone to share the experience. I wanted a city house, a country house, and a resort house. I wanted several great friends and a slew of great acquaintances. I didn't want to be ambitious in a way that hurt or hindered others, and I didn't want to be the victim of same. I have pulled all of this together with the exception of the resort house, which is in the pipeline.

We have a party in a couple of weeks with a hundred plus people attending, and 6 favorite couples staying with use for the weekend. While I negotiated and worked on some of this plan over the years, a lot of it came by chance. Good chance. Hope for it.

Like many all of you, I battle against outside forces seemingly closing in on us like a bad horror movie. At least the world that I created for myself - with the help of many others - is a model that I feel proud of and gladly share with as many people as possible.

As a young boy I liked to play in my dad's home office. I liked the paperwork - especially tracking expenses. In high school I worked on some applications requested by school administration and managed a project before graduating. I retired last year as a technology project manager. I had some management jobs during my working years, but project management was always my calling. I was a bit promiscuous as a young gayling, thankfully avoided any serious STDs, and still enjoy sex.
