Is Bryan Singer’s Collapse Imminent?

(Copypasted from linked Twitter account) I first met #BryanSinger in 2000. My boyfriend was one of his best friends, so I had many interactions with him. From the first time I met him, he was always on something. He also constantly hit on me, always asking me to show him my dick or ass. (1/14) When I’d tell my boyfriend about this, he’d say “oh Bryan just gets playful when he’s high”. But we stopped dropping by his house at my insistence. We’d still bump into him at parties. He almost always had a “posse”. (2/14) This was always him, 2-3 older 50-70 year old men who were obviously on drugs but still wearing their dress shirts & pants (he introduced them as producers) and at least 5 to sometimes 10 young men. I should really say boys, none of them could’ve been older than 16 or 17. (3/14) They were all aspiring models/actors who were always doped up & partially naked. Bryan always made a point to tell me they were going to his place for a “private party” & asked me to come with them. I said no every time. (4/14) This same scenario happened 5 times. Every time, the cast was different. Different gross old “producers”, different harem of boys. But every time, Bryan tried to convince me to join, offering me drugs, even offering me a bit part in X Men 2. (5/14) One night, I asked him who these old men were, & he said “they have a lot of money”. I then asked who all these young guys were & he said, “does it matter?” & laughed. And I laughed back. Yes, I hate myself for it. I don’t really have an excuse. (6/14) This same situation had played out so many times, & even though I knew what was happening was awful, I think part of me had resigned myself to the fact that this was Hollywood. Speaking out about this was unimaginable then. (7/14) That same night, in response to all my questions, Bryan again asked to see my dick. I said no. He then asked to feel my ass. After hesitating, I relented, thinking he’d give it a quick squeeze. Nope. (8/14) He quickly & very aggressively shoved his hand down my jeans & underwear and tried to shove his finger inside me. He had his other hand clamped on my shoulder so I couldn’t immediately move away. He penetrated me for a split second before I shoved him away (9/14) I got his hands off me & basically told him to fuck off & he proceeded to blame me, saying I had been teasing him since we met & what did I expect. I tried to leave & he asked if GHB would make me feel better. (10/14) I said no, that I just wanted to go home. He said fine, but I’d better not tell anyone because no one would believe me anyway. I absolutely believed this, so I never said anything until now. (11/14) I never went to any of Bryan Singers “private parties”, but I guarantee the stories of the young men who say they were raped are true. I witnessed the beginning of many of these nights. I wish I would’ve loudly objected to what I saw happening. (12/14) I also wish I would’ve had the courage to speak out when he sexually assaulted me. It didn’t benefit me at all to stay silent, all it did was allow myself to become disillusioned & bitter. I hope telling this story helps. Not just me, but anyone else who’s struggling. (13/14) Don’t be like me. Don’t keep this awful shit bottled up for 15+ years. It poisons you. Call the motherfuckers out. They are cowards. You are stronger than you know. (14/14)

Three Hollywood executives were accused of sexual abuse Monday in lawsuits filed by the man who last week accused X-Men director Bryan Singer of sexually abusing him.

Garth Ancier, Gary Goddard, and David Neuman allegedly sexually abused Michael Egan during parties at an Encino, Calif., mansion and on trips to Hawaii, the suits, which were filed in a federal court in Hawaii, state. The allegations against Singer, which he has denied, took place at the same parties and trips. Egan, 31, says he was 15 when the abuse first occurred.

The men each allegedly fondled or groped Egan, sodomized him, forced him to engage in oral copulation and encouraged him to consume drugs or alcohol, according to the suits. Egan's attorney Jeff Herman described them as part of a larger "Hollywood sex ring" at a press conference Monday.

Garth Ancier was the founding entertainment president, at age 28, of Fox in 1986. He later went on to become the entertainment president of the WB and of NBC.

Gary Goddard runs an entertainment and design company specializing in large-scale live entertainment venues for hotels and casinos. He also directed the 1986 movie Masters of the Universe.

David Neuman is a former president of Disney TV who joined Digital Entertainment Network, or DEN, the company founded by Marc Collins-Rector, who allegedly hosted the parties in Encino.

Garth Ancier, David Neuman, and Gary Goddard were named Monday as the sexual abuse lawsuits against director Bryan Singer widened to include several other major Hollywood players.

R52, pedophile isn't a sexuality. They can be gay or straight. Allegedly Singer is a gay man who also happens to be a pedophile.

I wonder what will happen. Without evidence it may just look like drug-fueled sex with barely legals. Which won't bring anyone down nor should it. Rape or sex either minors though, different story. Either way, bad optics. I'm thinking he might squeak by as more prominent names are called out for more explicit stuff.

If FOX was smart (someone at FOX take heed, please), they would get another director to film an alternate ending to Dark Phoenix just in case. You could even make it completely reset the universe and start fresh in two years with a completely new cast.

Dark Phoenix in the name of a storyline from the X-Men comics circa 1980. That storyline is the title and plot of the next X-Men movie, due out next year.

Directed by Simon Kinberg. With Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Evan Peters, Jessica Chastain. Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.

It's like back in 2014 when Singer was accused of sexually abusing a boy - and nothing was done. It's disgusting and a shame.

And look where the accuser is now, in jail. Not because of a conspiracy but because he scammed people for years. I'm not saying Singer is innocent just because Egan is unreliable but you definitely need someone else than a grifter to take Singer to court.

"After Egan accused Singer and others of sexual abuse committed when he was a teen, his story fell apart, and in June, Egan’s former lawyer issued an apology to two of the accused, Garth Ancier and David E. Neuman, writing, “Based on what I know now, I believe that I participated in making what I now know to be untrue and proveably false allegations against you. Had I known what I learned after filing the lawsuits, I would never have filed these claims against you.”"

R99, Egan most definitely is a grifter, and was sentenced to jail for conning people in 2015. Now, I've always thought he wasn't lying about everything involving DEN or even Singer, especially since some of the guys there were most definitely abusing teen boys, but he was proven to have lied in the 2014 lawsuit against Singer and others. I couldn't find it now but I remember reading somewhere that he had admitted to a friend that none of the guys he was accusing had raped him. I'm sure I'll be called a Singer apologist once again but the reality is you can't throw a man in jail based on lies. You need a solid case.

Based on the rumors it's quite obvious Singer likes twinks. The question is has he been taking advantage of them by drugging and raping them, like some people are accusing him of doing.

Now that's an interesting development, R91

As for Singer's victims - so often the victims of sexual abuse will turn to drugs or get fucked up in different ways which makes them incredibly easy to dismiss as reliable. Why do you think so many Hollywood victims mention drugs being pushed on them from a young age?

It's WND but whatever:

Unleashed! 'Flood' of Hollywood sex-abuse survivors ready to talk Producer: 'It's not just a lone pedophile. This is a highly organized group of people'

The sexual assault accusations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and now actor Kevin Spacey have Hollywood bracing for a “flood” of abused actors to come forward in the coming days and name the predators who targeted them, a scandal that one activist says will reach epic proportions.

“This is big. [T]his is going to be worse for Hollywood than the church scandal was for the Vatican,” said Matt Valentinas, one of the executive producers behind the 2015 documentary “An Open Secret,” which pulled back the curtain on the sexual abuse of children in Hollywood and named many producers, agents and other figures who work with kids in show business...

Valentinas told WND and Radio America that, for those in the know, the allegations against Spacey did not come as a shock. He said Spacey’s name came up in the research for “An Open Secret.”

“Yes, it did, in the sense that he’s very close friends with Bryan Singer,” Valentinas said. “Bryan Singer is the director of ‘X-Men’ and is currently shooting the movie on (the rock band) Queen. That’s how we came upon some of these rumors about Kevin Spacey. It wasn’t really the focus of our investigation, but his name was definitely brought up all the time for sure.

Valentinas believes Rapp and Smith will only be the beginning of an avalanche of current and former child actors coming forward to name their abusers.

“We’re already getting calls from many other survivors, so I think we’re going to start seeing floods of survivors coming out in the next couple of weeks or even days with stories,” Valentinas said. “The truth cannot be kept back...”

What was the response from the Screen Actors Guild?

“Instead of SAG saying, ‘Oh my God, that’s a problem. How can we help you?’ they sent us threatening letters to take out the interview from the movie, take out all mention of SAG from the movie. It might have been the first instance of a creative guild trying to go after a director and a producer and censor content. It was unprecedented,” Valentinas said...

I remember when the Singer allegations came out and no one backed the guy and they ripped him apart. Now everyone is coming out of the woodwork to recall sexual assaults for HW, KS, BR etc. What has changed? They used to sweep this stuff under the rug, blackball accusers, push people off buildings, threaten lawsuits etc. I am glad this is coming out but the whole town is corrupt and the fucking for roles/stardom has been going on for a long time. Now the whole town is full of virtuous men and women who ran scared at any sexual contact or suggestion. Obviously some stars were down for whatever and are now successful and famous.

We need to call out this agenda in the gay community and on DL, as we did in the 70s and the 90s.

------------ "Eileen Scheff — who has represented BAMN on multiple occasions, including at the Supreme Court — has been a self-described “member of NAMBLA.” The bulletin identified Scheff as an RWL member.

Scheff has been identified as a founder of BAMN.

Peter Schmidt, a senior writer for the Chronicle of Higher Education, wrote in a book for which Scheff was interviewed that she “helped found” BAMN, in addition to serving as its legal counsel. “Affirmative action was built by people taking direct militant action,” she told Schmidt, explaining BAMN’s riotous approach to activism.

At a 1991 NAMBLA press conference, Scheff denounced the “witch-hunt” against pedophiles.

“As an activist in the legal and political struggle for lesbian/gay rights and for freedom of sexual expression, I am here to support NAMBLA and to demand that the witch-hunt against it must be stopped,” Scheff said at the conference. “The media and police are targeting NAMBLA because it stands for the rights of young people to have consensual sex with whomever they want.”

“Denying youth their sexuality or driving sexual expression deeper and deeper underground will not stop child molestation,” Scheff added. She called for “youth-controlled centers where they can freely socialize and enjoy safe, consensual sex.”

“I call on all progressive people in the lesbian/gay community, in the women’s movement, and in the community at large to defend NAMBLA and its right to advocate for consensual sex regardless of age, and to unite our forces to make a fight for the real solutions to sexual coercion and abuse,” Scheff said."

A lot of the so called "leaders" of gay/LGBT rights are actually pedos/hebephiles, or sexual predators towards teens and children, and this includes Harvey Milk, Harry Hay, Matthew Shepard (did not argue for N A M B L A but he did sexually abuse kids), Larry Kramer, and Allen Ginsberg. They have all admitted to sexually abusing teens or young boys, or have records of this. They also argued for the inclusion of N A M B L A at pride events in the 80s and early 90s. Dan Savage also has an unhealthy obsession with teenage boys but this is not a secret.

Dan Savage also has an extremely unhealthy obsession with teenagers.

John Waters is a pedo/hebephile or a pedo /hebephile apologist since in a collection of essays he wrote and self-published he actually argued that it was fine for a pedo/hebephile who had a sock/foot fetish who was HIV+ or living with AIDS to sexually abuse teenage boys via oral sex since in Waters' delusional mind 'nobody has ever gotten HIV from oral sex' which is not true.

I just got finished watching An Open Secret. These pervs seemed to go after boys they had figured out were probably gay. If they then told people they were abused, Singer, et al could claim consensual sex, the kid is gay. Here's a list of the guys he's slept with. Corey Feldman continued to have sex with one of these men because he claimed the guy had him hooked on drugs. There's a fine line. In the doc, one of the older guys in the biz who had given one of them a blowjob said he would never ever have done anything like that if he thought he was hurting someone or doing something to someone who didn't want it, as though a 65-year-old giving a 14-year-old a blowjob is something the kid would want. Maybe this film will stop parents from pimping their kids out to Hollywood pedophiles, because they're all still working in the business.

Plus if they're gay but then want a movie career, they need to closet themselves - making it even more unlikely they'd ever step forward about the abuse, and giving Singer and his friends more power over them. I wonder how many times the threat of being outed was dangled over some of these guys.

From the Yahoo article:

Allegations against Singer have been simmering for a long time. As pointed out by the Daily Beast, in 1997, Singer reportedly “made minors shower in the nude on film for Apt Pupil.” Underage extras claimed that Singer “had required them to strip naked for hours while he shot a shower scene.” The allegations resulted in a lawsuit, but after the L.A. district attorney’s office investigated, the suits were dismissed.

Of course the suits were dismissed. Los Angeles is as much of a "company town" as it was in the 1930s. A few phone calls and the problem is fixed.

I like Chastain a lot. But that is some bulllllshit answer on her part. Singer has directed 4 X-Men films, including the last two. That’s like saying you didn’t know Zach Snyder helmed DC movies, or that Kevin Feige is the overlord on all things Marvel. It’s Singer’s franchise. He produces the movies and the tv shows. She can’t not have known that.

There are no reports of Chastain actively abusing or assaulting anyone so she is fine.

R190 Singer may just have a legacy EP credit due to his originating the characters continuity in his first X-Men film. For example, Christopher Nolan gets EP credit for Justice League because they are using Henry Cavill as Superman which Nolan originated in Man of Steel (which he produced), but he himself did no work on Justice League.

It's funny how in 2009 Querry covered the Singer-Emmerick pool parties as a too-bad-you-weren't-there affair. This was before all the allegations of rape that would follow in 2014:

Whenever there’s something gay in Los Angeles, there is always an after party at 2012 director Roland Emmerich’s estate. With Valkyrie director-producer Bryan Singer at his side, the A-gays gather to pay their respects — before stripping down to their Speedos and diving into the pool. With West Hollywood’s gay pride parade yesterday, it only made sense Emmerich would once again open up his gates to LA’s gays. One attendee sends photo evidence of the fracas, which came complete with Candis Cayne performing with a Jaws theme (she ended up in getting “attacked,” ended up in the pool, and “blood” going everywhere) — although the photos shuttled to our inbox shows less performance, more “attempting to stand.”
Alas, we cannot confirm whether involuntarily adult film star Dustin Lance Black attended last night’s soiree, as he’s been known to.
And sorry, no photos of the after-after party (which generally has a clothing-optional policy), nor do we have pictures from what happened when Roland and Bryan took a few select young men into the house for private casting sessions.

That’s not the case with Singer. He doesn’t have a mere legacy credit. Both his Instagram and (now deleted) Twitter show his continuing active involvement in the X films up to and including Dark Phoenix. He’s been the name behind the series for 17 years.

Not necessarily. If she was a fan of the X Men films, then yes she would've known Singer was attached. But if she wasn't, if this was just a project offering a lot of money to her, it is possible she was unaware of his involvement. I remember when a former male prostitute posted here on DL years ago about being at Bryan Singer parties and how there were lots of underage guys, drugs, and barebacking and all sort of nasty kinky sex including scat.

Okay, if we're doing this. %0D %0D Right after college, 2002, I moved to LA. I lived with a guy who was a rentboy. I was a waiter and needed some quick cash and he suggested it. I did it for about six months and made between $10K-$15K.%0D %0D I did a Bryan Singer party. It was one of the most degrading experiences of my life. I was totally used. No condoms (got paid extra)and me and some other guy just hung out in a bedroom all night and random guys would come and fuck us. We couldn't leave the room. The pool area was reserved for the younger rents, I was 22 and was considered young but not young enough for the pool/patio area. %0D %0D One of my regulars was an actor on the show Alias, not BC. He was a great tipper. He got pissed at me when I quit. He hooked me up with another actor from a canceled 90s NBC sitcom who liked to pay for overnights. %0D %0D I also had a threeway with a well known tv director (a former HBO show (Hey Now!) and a former FOX comedy and a current NBC comedy with Tina Fey) and his boyfriend.%0D %0D %0D %0D
I didn't have HIV then and I don't have HIV now. I was 22, broke, and very, very lucky. %0D %0D I got $1500 for the Singer party.%0D %0D My rates were pretty standard. $200 for a single out call. That didn't include tip. %0D %0D $300 for a three way, but I would only do three ways in hotels, unless it was someone famous. %0D %0D Overnights and weekends were neogotiable. %0D %0D And yes, I would bareback for additional cash. Again I was stupid and very lucky. The only ones who wanted to bareback were the married dudes in town for a conference or a convention. Directors and producers are also big into barebacking. With actors its mostly coke and oral and a lot of body worship.%0D %0D It was also extra if you wanted me to cum. %0D %0D
Except for the barebacking, I don't really have any regrets about it. I got in, made the money I needed to make, and then moved on to a legit life. Yeah, I could have gotten a second job, but, at the time, this was easier.%0D %0D I was 22 and looked 17, my market was older guys into a young twink look. Even though I didn't look young enough to be in the pool area at Singer's, I still looked young enough to be one of the bedroom fuck boys. %0D %0D Singer, through his people, had very stringent criteria for the guys at his parties. You had to be a twink, not your standard twink, but a young looking twink. The younger you looked the better spot you got at the party. %0D %0D Pool/patio was the best area. Second best was putting on a sex show with a fellow worker. They watched you, but couldn't touch you. Low tier was bedroom fuck boy; you got paid the most, but you had to put out for anyone who wanted it. %0D %0D It wasn't Michael T. Weiss. %0D %0D I recevied tips all the time, especially for a really good session. The role players were the best tippers. I was always the "nephew", the "stepkid", the "horny neighbor kid." A lot of these guys were really into younger/older role play. You would be surprised. %0D %0D I once got offered $1000 to Cleveland Steamer a dude, but wouldn't do it. Thought about it, but decided not to. %0D %0D The "Alias" guy was very nice to me, but he seemed very sad all the time. %0D %0D The roommate who kinda got me into it, is still doing it. I don't judge him, but I feel bad for him. %0D
Other than Singer, I've given more than enough clues. I will say this, everyone has been named in this thread, except for the 90s sitcom guy. Here's a clue about the sitcom guy. It was an NBC sitcom. Set in New York City about 30somethings. The main lead did some 80s movies.
They're grown adults!!! Honey, if they were grown adults Miss Singer wouldn't want them at one of her parties....
I'll start. Back in the 80's a rent boy friend told me he saw Frank Langella on a regular basis.

His parties have a lot of celebrity guest. I know Hugh Jackman has been as well as Taylor Lautner.

Singer is protected for various reasons. He knows other guys like him (who like their sex partners underage), he runs one of the most profitable franchises in Hollywood, Hollywood cannot afford to look more and more like a haven for predators preying on people, using them, and throwing them away like trash.

The mainstream media is owned by people who don't like this sort of too close to the truth attention, but social media forces their hand. A reporter needs your help. They know you will figure out the name in this blind and hopefully you will know something that will help bring this celebrity down. They are A+ list at what they do. If you turn on this cable network, you will feel they are on almost all of the 24 hours in the day. Of course if you manage to watch him for longer than five minutes, you must have it on mute or have lost your remote control. According to a very close family member, this host/celebrity has raped multiple young boys. He is paying people off and many of the boys he has raped have been family members so it is a very closely held secret. The reporter is afraid everyone will be bought off before he can be exposed. So, send me tips to send to the reporter. Sean Hannity

While Singer hosts these private parties it's his associates who do all the dirty work like precuring / grooming the boys, buying the illegal drugs, etc. Even if officials would arrest Singer his lawyer would get him free by insisting that Singer never committed any illegal act and one of his associates comes forward and takes full responsibility and claims that Singer knew nothing.

Only stone-cold proof (as in recordings) of him having sex with a minor would bring Singer down. But Singer has people around him who protect him and make sure there are no recording devices around when Singer is high on drugs and having sex with minors. However recordings exist of members of Singer's inner circle committing illegal acts that can be used against them if they step out of line. That's how these networks work. The leader / queen bee creates a club where the members have to do something (usually disgusting and / or illegal) to join the club.

Kevin Spacey got brought down without recordings.

Because he doesn't have the powerful back-up system that Singer has.

Netflix is new. It is no established threatening power system with a tight grip to make stories go away. They made Noah Galvin apologize for the comment he made about Singer in that Vulture interview.

Insecure people seek power to feel worthy. It's like a drug where they need to affirm their power over others to feel worthy, because only people with power (which includes money) have worth. And for them there is no greater proof of having power than to commit a heinous crime and getting away with it. All this "child loving" and bevolent "mentoring" is just "I have the power to assault and exploit kids and get away with it!".

Insecure people are also easy to manipulate. You exploit their insecurities and they will do anything for you when you humor them and their insecurities or vices. Kindred spirit 'n all. All these pedo and satan cults and secret societies are just theatrical means to manipulate the members to serve some higher up's agenda. These members think of themselves being so powerful but in reality they are being manipulated just like the masses are being manipulated.

Then came the Millenials, and it turns out they feel the same (maybe even more) about these issues. Same with the Gen Z (or Y, never know their name). All these are adept at social media. This was not going to last for much longer. Same with racism, we're seeing a major shift as well. All those who want to keep the old world order are getting older and we don't want any more of it.

Never that simple. Life is about power. Social media is a tool that has only recently existed. The powerful can still openly pull published media articles even today. Read up on what tactics Singer uses to silence people.

Fight the power that renders victims alone and vulnerable, not prior victims or those with few options. Every generation thinks they are unique. Better chance of success if we keep our eye on the prize.

Bryan Singer's Obsession With Barely Legal Boys Was an Open Secret

The news that X-Men director Bryan Singer is being sued by a man who says Singer raped him multiple times when he was 17 might come as a surprise to some—but in Hollywood his taste for a very specific sort of young man was well known.

University of Southern California News, 11-6-17

Seven School of Cinematic Arts students have penned a petition asking USC to formally remove director Bryan Singer’s name from the institution on Monday. At the time of publication, the online petition had over 900 signatures, which included students and alumni.

The petition cites former accusations of sexual harassment, pedophilia and sexual assault against Singer, for whom the Division of Cinema and Media Studies is named.

“By continuing to associate Mr. Singer’s name with our University, USC is openly supporting a man who has been publicly accused of reprehensible sexual misconduct,” the petition said. “As USC students and alumni, we hold ourselves to a standard of respect, and the SCA administration’s actions are not representative of that standard.”

Emily Halaka and Adrian Vega-Albela Osorio, two co-writers of the petition, hoped to foster dialogue about sexual assault and harassment at SCA.

“We hope that the petition inspires more students to stand up for what we know is right, and inspires the SCA administration to make a change,” Halaka and Vega-Albela Osorio said in an email to the Daily Trojan. “As young filmmakers, we refuse to allow our futures to be permeated by power abuse. We refuse to sit quietly as harassment and assault continues around us.”

Singer has faced multiple lawsuits throughout his filmmaking career, including one in 1997 concerning child nudity on a film set, according to Entertainment Weekly. In 2014, Singer also faced allegations of sexually abusing a minor, according to court documents obtained by The Wrap.

However, lawsuits against Singer have mostly been dismissed before an official trial.

“We have known about the allegations against Singer for some time, as have many students — 20-plus years of media coverage on the multiple allegations against Singer have made his history a highly public topic,” Halaka and Vega-Albela Osorio wrote. “We hope that we, the student body of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, can continue to be an example for future generations entering the film industry, making changes little by little.”

I wonder if anyone in the original cast of the X-Men knew about Bryan's "exploits".

There was a blind item years ago claiming a female star walked in on a director having sex with a teen boy in a trailer during a shoot. She was apparently extremely upset and tried to raise hell about it saying she'd never work with him again. It was thought to be about Halle Berry and Bryan Singer, and apparently took place during the X2 shooting. Obviously the next film was directed by Brett Ratner. I believed in the blind so much that I was actually surprised to see Berry return as Storm in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

I've commented on Singer before and I've sort of been on his side in all of this. I don't really care if he's having sex with guys over 16 (if he's not forcing them to do anything that is). I moved on my own when I was 16 and I definitely wasn't a small kid any more. However yes I totally realize that a rich and powerful older man will be powerful in ways a guy in his late teens can't, so there definitely is a power imbalance, but still I don't necessarily think the younger one is only being exploited and is not getting anything back in return. Obviously things change if there's any kind of coercion going on. I never dated an older guy when I was in my teens so I'm probably not getting everything totally right. The only sexual thing I had with an oldie was when I was like 22 and had a one night stand with a guy in his 40s. That was ok but yes I get it's not totally comparable.

I talked about the whole Spacey/Singer thing with a good a friend of mine. We went to school together in our teens and sort of dated before I moved totally to guys. She has two boys now, aged 14 and 16, and when I said Singer seems to like guys around 16 she started fuming that those kids are way too young. I pointed out that we were fucking when she was 16 and I was 17 but she said she can't imagine her son having sex at 16 with anyone. Makes me wonder once again how many people here are females imagining their sons having older male lovers? It's not that I don't get it. I totally remember how creepy it was when some of our teen friends, girls usually, had sex with older guys (not that it happened that often). However it isn't always necessarily the older men or women calling the shots in those relationships, if you can call them that.

So I do get the points from both sides. Kids in their later teens aren't really kids any more, although now that I'm in my 40s I definitely view them as such, but then again I've met men over 20 who are mentally like little boys. Some people grow up faster. I myself am not into guys under 20 at all, although there's no denying I've watched some of the masculine ones cam at Chaturbate. I like manly men and they are usually found in 25+ guys. Twinks are not my thing but the thing is, since I'm slightly into women, I can definitely get why some men are into more feminine men. However I must point out that Spacey going after a 14 year old is just too much. At 14 you're just not mentally developed enough, although yes I get probably not even when you're 16 or 17 or 18 but still, there is a difference. BTW, if I get real proof that Singer has been fucking guys under 16 I definitely will drop him.

Sorry for the long post. I don't mean to sound like I'm ranting but I just feel things aren't as black and white as some people make them to be. I'm sensing homophobia with some of the comments here but I do realize it's a complex issue.

R289, I encourage to think more broadly. We all mature at different rates due to upbringing, genetics, etc. Your 16 is not the same as my 16. At that age, I WAS still a small kid in terms of emotional maturity. I didn't start having mature, sexual relationships until age 19.

The laws in place are not suggestions. Establishing 18 as the age of consent is, I assume, because most 18-year-olds are prepared to make adult decisions. Most 16-year-olds are not.

R289 Ever notice how pedo apologists attempt to link disapproval of their perversion to homophobia. Didn't work with Spacey, won't work with Singer.

the age of consent is 16 in most states

These laws are usually not so cut and dried. It might be 16 *if* the other partner isn't more than, say, 3 years older.

--Anonymous
replies 295Nov 11, 2017 4:55 AM +00:00

R291, yes I do get that not all people mature at the same speed. The thing with Singer's pool parties is that weren't those guys there voluntarily, meaning that they themselves sought to attend them? Hard to see wallflowers going there, especially if they'd heard any rumors of them being practically porn parties. I assume the guys were open for sex. Obviously it's criminal if they were drugged and raped but I'm seeing pearlclutching about the idea of young men even sharing a sex party with older men. Yes obviously if the guys were only 14 it's wrong, no question about it. Were there really boys that young attending those parties? How the hell would you even find guys that young to attend adult parties?

The laws in place are not suggestions. Establishing 18 as the age of consent is, I assume, because most 18-year-olds are prepared to make adult decisions. Most 16-year-olds are not.

I do get your point and like I've said I've met guys over 20 who were emotionally like in their teens. I'm just assuming that people attending famous sex parties aren't exactly the ones living sheltered lives.

R295, don't even for a second pretend like there hasn't been tons of homophobia in threads about Singer over the years here. It's clear we've had homophobic females posting here. Like I've said show me the proof Singer is fucking guys under 16 or he's forced anyone to have sex with him and I stop defending him in any way. And no, Michael Egan doesn't do since he has totally ruined his credibility.

No, R295, those "Romeo and Juliet" laws go as low as 13 years old. Age 16 is legal age even with an adult in many states. It's currently age 16 in all of Canada (it used to be age 14 until 2008).

What's notable about the pedo defenders is how they constantly search for a technicality. In this case it's the idea that these guys consented to be abused the way they were. So let's be clear - suggesting these guys consented to what they went through because they agreed to go to a party is like suggesting women consented to Harvey Weinstein's sexual assaults because they agreed to meet him in his hotel room.

The Encino mansion known as the M&C Estate—owned by a convicted sex offender named in the lawsuit against Bryan Singer—was home to the wild gay sex parties where Hollywood bigwigs allegedly preyed on underage boys. It was also used to film a 1998 pilot for Digital Entertainment Network described as a "gay pedophile version of Silver Spoons," starring an as yet unknown Seann William Scott.

Exactly, and R289 is a pedo himself for sure. The signs are all there---lit up in neon. You'd have to be seriously mentally deranged to try to compare two teenagers having sex to a middle aged manipulative predator drugging and raping kids.

And, no idiot R296, it doesn't matter how those kids got to the pool parties. They are not capable of consent, no matter what they do, what they wear or how they act. That's text book pedo-logic. Blame the poor kid for being where he should not have been. Are you trying to say that if a toddler wandered into your back yard you'd be entitled to rape him? Never mind, that's a dumb question. I know you'd answer it with an emphatic "YES"......and then accuse anyone who disagreed with you of homophobia.

Where is this idea coming from that people are more mature at a younger age now? I think it's the opposite.

Instead of moving out on our own at 18 now we go straight to college and spend another 4-7 years as students. Most of my friends in college were still dependent financially on their parents while being shielded from the Real World under the tent of academia. The pressure and expectation is higher but that doesn't mean we handle it any better. We marry later, have kids later, buy homes later (if ever).

Off topic to the rest of this post but has anyone here seen Singer in person and does he really look that ugly and lizard like or does he just photograph badly?

Exactly, and [R289] is a pedo himself for sure. The signs are all there---lit up in neon.

Nope, but keep telling yourself that. I pointed out that my friend refuses to believe her son would even have sex at 16 ("oh he's only such a child") when she herself loved fucking at 16. This is the kind of attitude I see here a lot, which makes me believe many people (not all obviously) that have been bitching about Singer over the years are homophobic females who think it's terrible if young men have sex with older men. They possibly think men having sex with men is super icky in the first place. And like I pointed out I'm talking about guys over 16. Yes at that age many guys are totally not yet adults but they are certainly not little kids any more. Like I said I don't really give a shit when people over 16 have sex. I don't fancy guys that young and I don't want to have sex with them but I don't really care if someone else does, and only obviously if the younger guy wants it as well. And please, stop with the whole pedo crap. Pedos have sex with pre-pubescent kids, not with people in their late teens like Singer seems to do.

You'd have to be seriously mentally deranged to try to compare two teenagers having sex to a middle aged manipulative predator drugging and raping kids.

I have a feeling you don't even pretend to have any kind of rational conversation, you just see a gay man having sex with younger men and it's immediately HE'S A PEDO!!!!! Like I said in R289: "BTW, if I get real proof that Singer has been fucking guys under 16 I definitely will drop him." Show me the proof Singer is guilty and I'll definitely stop defending him.

Let's not forget a few posts up someone said how creepy it is that Tom Daley is dating Dustin Lance Black. Why the fuck should I or you care? I'm sure Daley is mentally capable of making his own decisions, like I assume most people over 16 are. Maybe I'm giving too much credit for teens over 16 because like I said I moved out at 16 and went to live with people who were 16 as well. Most of us got on with life's realities totally fine. Maybe teens these days are so mentally undeveloped that they don't fucking understand what having sex even means and are easily manipulated into it.

So, you think it's creepy except if the younger partner has the power. So do you actually think any of these young guys around Singer have any power at all?

R303, how the hell should I know? I don't really know that much about Singer's love life. Judging by earlier posts he's dating some Chaturbate model right now. You can't do Chaturbate shows unless you're 18 (you need to show them an ID) so I assume Singer is dating a guy over 18 at the moment. You have a problem with that? I assume the model is doing sex shows for money so it's not that hard to guess what is at least partly his motivation to be with Singer. Who's the more powerful one in the relationship? No idea. I assume the CB model can walk out any time he wants to.

Oh, so it's okay to be exploited as long as they get something in return? So as long as the guy they plied with booze and drugs gets a bit part in X Men after he gets gang fucked by a bunch of sleazy old men, that's all okay then, is it?

I should've pointed out that I meant being satisfied emotionally when I talked about younger men having affairs with older guys, or women. I assume not all spring/autumn relationships are about money. But really, if they are about money so fucking what? I'm over 40 now and if I had the money I'd definitely try it with a hustler. But not with some scrawny twink (eww). I'd go with some hustling muscle het (lol) and have a muscle worship session.

And really, R303, at this point you're presenting rumors as facts. If true sure that's terrible. Hollywood has been using the casting couch from the start and I'm glad things are finally being revealed, and thankfully it's not only gay men that are revealed to have abused their position. And dude, obviously if people are getting drugged and raped there needs to be police involved, no matter how old the victim. I've said it before and I say it now that there most certainly needs to be a better witness than Michael Egan who's pretty much lost all his credibility. And it didn't really help Amy Berg's An Open Secret that she decided to keep him in the doc.

That doc was a disappoinment btw. I'm glad it outed that one talent scout as an abuser but I don't understand why she even showed that guy who ended up having brain damage from booze. If I understood it correctly the guy was already over 18 when he moved to Hollywood. Then something (what?) happened and he moved back home, where he drank a lot. Sure he was involved with DEN and we all know Rector-Collier most definitely was into teen boys. DEN had a lot of investors, not just Singer. Were they all pedos or into teen boys? I'm not buying that, at least not right now.

Is he? How about if you consider the fact that just months before he met DLB, Tom's dad died. Tom's dad, who was the same age, give or take 2 or 3 years, as DLB. And Tom's dad who played a huge and domineering role in his life. Now that puts a bit of a different spin on things doesn't it? But that doesn't fit into your bullshit narrative, where you keep trying to equate old men going after young guys as being the same as a 16 and 17 year old fucking.

there most certainly needs to be a better witness than Michael Egan

How fortunate that there are then. Though I'm sure you just happened to have missed all of them, right? How convenient.

R319, I'm sorry but how the fuck should I know what went on in Daley's head after his dad died. I wouldn't necessarily equate the affair with DLB with the dad's passing. Maybe Daley just is into older men. And no, I don't really like DLB. He seems to be kind of a cunt and I can't see what Daley sees in him but that's not something I really think a lot about.

How fortunate that there are then. Though I'm sure you just happened to have missed all of them, right? How convenient.

I don't doubt that Singer loves barely legal teen guys, that seems to be a fact. However him drugging and raping men is a whole different thing, and that most certainly has not been proved, at least not yet. And once again if that's proven to be correct I most definitely will stop defending him.

BTW, R319, it's slightly perplexing that you're in the Ed Westwick rape thread defending Westwick. I actually agree with you that the roommate's friend sounds like a scammer. I just though that since you seem to believe in rumors so much you'd most certainly believe what she's saying.

The thing with Singer is that people keep posting pics of him hugging young men like that's a crime. It's not, he's just into barely legal twinks. And I think that's the first problem some people have with Singer. They don't need any proof of him drugging and raping men, they believe it just based on them being appalled by Singer being into twinks.

we all know Rector-Collier most definitely was into teen boys

When the cops arrested him in Spain they found 8,000 images of child sex abuse on his computer.

Brock Pierce is a virtual currency pioneer. He is now a multi millionaire and on the board of Bitcoin.

Steven Mnuchin and Geffin and Singer have, I believe, invested in pornography rackets. Including illegal abuse. Billions is made from that filth. And the investments are funnelled through off shore bank accounts and shell companies. Marc Collins-Rector and Brock Pierce were experts at this stuff and I believe Geffin wanted Collins-Rector dead (Brock Pierce told the FBI and a judge in a sworn deposition published by Buzzfeed who have done great reporting on DEN) because Geffin is involved in profiteering from child sex abuse. CDAN has a new blind that basically says Warners have discovered that Singer has invested in a filmed child abuse racket.

R321 read this..

97. ENTERTAINMENT LAWYER 11/08 **#13** The Studio: Want to know the most corrupt studio? It doesn't really exist any longer. It sure made a lot of money for the people who ran it though. It was like a giant ponzi scheme. The owners siphoned all the money; took money from investors; and even raided a bank to the tune of $100M before stashing it all overseas and declaring bankruptcy. Where did all the money go? Good question. A lot of it remains in offshore accounts. A bunch of other money though was spent on drugs and women and men and parties. This is the movie that Hollywood needs to make. Honestly, it involves many of the sexual predators that have been named over the past few weeks. Some of the owners of this place turned against each other and publicly said the same things years ago that are only now getting those same predators in trouble. No one cared before. Now they do. Lets go through some of the players shall we? A list public figure. John Oliver is a huge fan of this guy. Infamous wife. - In a previous blind, I wrote about how he met his wife. This was after he spent a few years at the studio passing out business cards to every blonde in town. Only blondes. Brunettes who knew about this would wear a wig because he was paying $10K for a night and would bring party favors. You needed those party favors to put out of your head who you were sleeping with. A cruel, cruel guy in bed. Those nights when he brought in a second woman were apparently the worst. Just a twisted f**k/. He is also the one who made it possible for everyone to flee with more money. Flee is a strong word. Get away with. Screw other people with by taking the money would be a good phrase too. A list director who so far has escape this round of scandal. He had big budgets and was allowed to do what he wanted with them. The studio covered all those payments to parents of minors who complained about him sexually assaulting their teen boys. The investors thought their money was going to movies, not to sexual assault payoffs. Another A list director. He was responsible for finding women for all the studio bosses. All of those casting calls and the executives would just happen to stop by where he would talk them up. Then, the executives would stand around watching and so many of those actresses would find the time to walk up to the executives and they just took their pick. The problem with this A list director is that he was stealing from the studio which later caused the executives to turn on the director. This Academy Award winning actor was a partner in the studio. He just used it as another avenue to find young boys. The thing is, he and the director who also liked young boys didn't always get along. Our director liked them young, but despite the payoffs always insisted everything was consensual. The actor liked things when they were not consensual. Just an evil guy. A list public figure. Foreign born. He specialized in throwing even more money around. He had the most of the bunch. He also had connections within an organization that not only helped launder money but also provided women as needed who were not actresses. There were some investors who enjoyed things more rough and if something happened to one of these women, they were shipped to some far corner of the world, deep underground.

and then this...

Yesterday and last night a studio (___________) was in crisis mode with executives flying in and lawyers summoned. All because this perverted jerk director (____________) and his company (_________) are such a major part of the studio's project slate that the studio itself may be in jeopardy - especially being taken over by a publicly traded company that requires Congress' approval. Last night during the investigation into the damage done by the director, and how damaged the studio can be, they discovered some bizarre business interests. Seems the director is a major investor-partner in several adult porn websites. The studio and even the director's managers didn't know it. One of the porn sites in particular is so disgusting, perverted, and possibly illegal in the USA that the studio is scrambling to cut all ties and remove the director from everything, before the media uncovers this. The site, hosted offshore and hidden beneath layers of front companies, is so awful that the analysts refused to explore it - and only finally did so after a lawyer and ex-FBI man at the studio both agreed to monitor the investigation. If the director and his pals see that website as their normal views of sex? Then those abuse allegations are just the beginning of his slide into the gutter. Even a national official (_______________) is scared. He sent a representative of his to meet studio brass all because of his own former association with the director which still reaps financial income for the official. They're trying to quietly cover up all ties to Russian investors and Arab investors before people start looking deeply at those relationships. Talk was swirling about the official (_______) and the director on a Russian billionaires yacht, with Arabs and lots of young women. Why? There is a video and photos. Not good for the studio and definitely not good for a Trump appointee at the moment. Meanwhile the studio is in damage-control mode, and one executive (______________) is rumored to be on the chopping block due to his defense of and friendship with the director. The studio is looking to scapegoat, cut ties, and dress up as a wholesome family company before its new owner (_________) has to go before Congress to get approval for lots of new plans. Many Congresswomen in particular are just waiting to get some re-election coverage by grilling them and forcing them to pledge to change the culture of Hollywood. If anyone thinks attorney Marty Singer can handle all this? They are clueless.

Answers (thanks, AGC!) Studio/executive: Warner Bros.

Jerk director/company: Brett Ratner/RatPac

National official: James Packer

Trump appointee: US Secretary of Treasury Steven Mnuchin

you're in the Ed Westwick rape thread defending Westwick

Except I'm not. All I've done is point out the weaknesses in the story of the guy claiming to be a friend of the accuser and factual inaccuracies he's been telling about the BBC's response. I believe the most criticism I levelled at the accuser was her not naming the producer, given he was complicit. And she then did name him. Nice attempt at an ad hominem though.

I don't doubt that Singer loves barely legal teen guys, that seems to be a fact. However him drugging and raping men is a whole different thing, and that most certainly has not been proved, at least not yet. And once again if that's proven to be correct I most definitely will stop defending him.

29. ENTERTAINMENT LAWYER 11/02 **#14**

The Financier: Back in the day, he was an actor. A fairly successful child actor. As he started getting a little older, he played the game the way he was told. When he wasn't old enough to drive he was hooking up with that A list movie producer and that A list mostly movie director that keeps popping up. He spent most of his time though with a guy who taught him about money while also having sex with him. I say sex, but our actor was not yet legal so lets call it what it is - rape. The money guy schooled our actor on how to make money. Meanwhile, the actor was also used to bring in young male actors for the sick fantasies of the previously mentioned and also the sick fantasies of investors. I can't tell you how many child and teen actors ended up dead from drugs or booze or just suicide because of these a-holes. It hasn't stopped. Things have just slightly changed. The mentor of the actor has to lay low all the time now. He is always watched by authorities. The actor though can move freely. He makes a ton of money which is used to finance movies for the director and the producer. Almost every movie they change the name of the finance company to keep people off the trail. Where do they get the money? Politicians, executives and anyone else who wants to have sex with young boys. The actor has a supply chain from acting schools and casting calls to model hunts and everything in between. The former actor uses his political connections to make people guardians of some of these boys. Can you imagine the sick f**k who knows what is going to happen to these boys but approves a guardianship for the boy to live with the guy who is going to rape them? The thing is, people have spoken up. People have complained. You know what happens? Nothing. The voice gets hammered back down. Maybe some cash changes hands. Maybe the troubled youth ends up dead. A victim of the drug crisis or gun violence. The guardian did everything they could say the stories. Gave the youth a loving home. If you go back a decade, you will see the fields of Hollywood littered with the dead bodies of actors who were victimized by this group. The deaths might be publicized but not the aftermath. None of the dead actors ever get in a memorial during Oscar or Emmy night. They just are child or teen actors who couldn't handle fame. No, they are actors who couldn't handle being raped and living their lives after years of abuse.

Director: Bryan Singer

The thing with Singer is that people keep posting pics of him hugging young men like that's a crime. It's not, he's just into barely legal twinks.

But the environment has DRAMATICALLY changed overnight. Who would have guessed that sexual harassment allegations from 30 years ago could, in part, completely erase Kevin Spacey's career? Or Louis CK's? How the hell is this happening so fast? Projects costing millions of dollars are being shelved or canceled because of their past/current behavior. Investors are losing MONEY over this, which in Hollywood is probably more unforgivable than the sexual harassment of young men and women.

So, has Bryan ALWAYS been fucking legal-age twinks over that period? And are we sure that no one will come forward with Kevin Spacey-type harassment claims against him and explode his projects and endanger all those investor dollars?

That's Singer's problem now. He could be COMPLETELY innocent of having had sex with underage boys, but investors and studios will look at how he as lived his life and make assessments of risks. There may be no fire, but there sure is plenty of smoke enveloping Singer and the people he chose to hang with.

Does a taste for barely legal boys ever slip into underage/illegal during the last thirty years? Why even take that risk with Singer in the current "Me Too" environment? Just choose another director/producer with less associated sexual harassment risk.

That's a danger for his career going forward.

Steven Mnuchin and Geffin and Singer have, I believe, invested in pornography rackets. Including illegal abuse. Billions is made from that filth.

Oh you believe. If I understood correctly from those CDAN (?) blinds it's Ratner who was involved with the porn. BTW, most people on this site, i.e. gay and bi men, probably don't find anything wrong with porn. Obviously it's hard to tell what this "possibly illegal in the USA" porn might be. The possibly illegal bit makes me think it's not really that terrible because it would probably be illegal then.

I most certainly wish anyone involved with kiddie or teen porn is caught BUT what the hell has this got to do with Singer? Just because YOU believe something is true doesn't make it such.

R327, I'm also trying point out with Singer that blind items like [R323]/[R325]/[328] should not be exactly presented as the truth. I'm fairly certain OJ was not innocent. The jury's still out about Westwick.

BTW, we all know how unreliable CDAN blinds can be. IF they are correct I wish the truth comes out soon. Why isn't there some deep investigative journalism happening? At this point much of this stuff (especially the conspiracy theory like blind items) sounds like coming from she-who-should-not-be-named, who seems to be a total homophobic cunt.

Yes, and Geffin and Singer were investors in DEN, run by Collins-Rector and Brock Pierce and Chad Shackley, who were organising parties with under-age kids for their investors and running numerous shell companies and off-shore investment funds involving virtual currencies. All that, in my view, adds up to filming and selling of sexual abuse.

A Silent Wave of Deletions: Why Allegations Against Singer Have Been Disappearing

It’s not necessarily new information but it is a good compilation. I almost created a separate thread but DL is already on overload these days.

To quote one part of the post:

One theory - and to be clear, we ARE dealing in theories and rumors here - is that Singer is too big to fail. He's both a commercially successful and critically acclaimed director as well as producer, and Hollywood hates to see talent go to waste. He's working with 20th Century Fox on Bohemian Rhapsody and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, to name just two of his projects.
Another theory is my personal pet theory and a little more insidious. Maybe Singer isn't protected of what he does, but rather because of who he knows, and what he knows about them. The list of his known associates is an illustrious one.
Follow-up to this post . Abuse allegations have followed Singer to such an extent and for such a long time that his name started trending when Kevin Spacey's name did. Well, isn't that slightly awkward. Recently, Asia Argento and Jessica Chastain called out Singer on Twitter. Attention Circles Back…

R371, that from someone who writes gems like this:

I recall after Egan withdrew his lawsuit there was talk some goons were sent to threaten him - or even actually attacked him. Wonder if that's what happened here.

If you're talking about the recent lawsuit he was forced to withdraw the lawsuits because he had lied about the facts. Even his lawyer apologized to the men he had accused. And as we know in 2015 Egan was sentenced to 2 years in jail for stealing over $300k from the people in a con he had run for years.

Like I've said before Egan was probably partly telling the truth, after all we know the deal with Collins-Rector and DEN, but he's a grifter. You just can't believe in anything he says.

So why offer Egan a $100,000 settlement?

Sounds like Singer's paid off lots of these settlements and when Egan refused the standard amount, Singer dug up some criminal activity on him.

(Incidentally, it's not shocking that Singer could find something. When police and prosecutors try to use adult victims of child abuse as witnesses, they're often problematic: Many are so fucked up by the abuse, they've made bad choices and have a record.)

--R357
replies 375Nov 11, 2017 4:38 PM +00:00

R375, I remember reading it was easier and cheaper to offer the settlement than to have a highly visible court case in headlines for weeks and months around the time X-Men: Days of Future Past was being released. If I remember correctly "digging up Egan's criminal activity" was mostly about standard fact checking. He claimed he had been abused on the dates the defendants were able to prove to have been in a different country altogether.

No idea how his multi-year con ended up being revealed. It's possible P.I.s hired by Fox/Singer found about it and alerted the police. Or the police took a interest in him when he went public with Singer accusations in 2014.

"According to court docs, the shakedown was a fallback plan if a Ponzi scheme didn't pan out. Ancier says the friend asked Egan if he'd ever actually been molested ... and Egan said flat out, "God, no.""

Aww R372, once again you dig around my post history in an attempt at an ad hominem, and again you fail. If you read the post you quoted I didn't mention anything about the reliability of Egan, just that it was reported he was threatened, and wondering if that's happened in the Justin Smith case. And given that Smith confirmed to a friend he'd received threatening DMs which caused him to shut down his Twitter account, it's clear it did.

Plus, R378, if it ever came out you paid the guy, you'd seem massively guilty.

And no, R380, he didn't. Instead he focussed his attentions on demanding reform - such as stricter statute of limitations on child abuse cases and saying defendants should be given anonymity, and that accusers should be forced to contact the accused before they're able to file suit. Sounds like a pedo's charter to me - narrower statue of limitations would mean many victims would be outside of them by the time they're mentally sound enough to take action. And anonymity and making accusers talk to accused first just allows pay-offs and threats.

The TV executive was one of the high-profile defendants in a series of lawsuits filed by Egan last year in which the defendant alleged he'd been molested by a number of entertainment industry figures in Hawaii while he was still a teen.

As for this place being full of people with agendas - yes, like you, who clearly has an agenda of defending Singer. I must admit, your argument - that we can listen to no argument until it's been proven in a court of law - is an odd one to take on a gossip website.

R385, well Egan was found to be lying by the court and is now serving time in jail for stealing money. What the hell should I be thinking about him?

Like I've said before many times I don't think Egan was lying about everything but he clearly wasn't the right person to take Singer and others to court.

When we have people like R382 who think a 19 to 22 year old guy is too young to be dating an older man it's clear there's something else going on here than just people being worried about teen abuse. Some of the posters here are clearly women who seem to hate men.

The Singer asslicker will argue his innocence long after Singer is rotting in jail.

The Singer asslicker? *sigh* I'm more than happy to say bon voyage to him if he ever gets sentenced to jail. For some reason that hasn't happened yet. Is it all just a big conspiracy or hasn't there just not been enough credible proof of him drugging and raping people, or having sex with underaged guys? If he's guilty I most certainly hope he gets caught, although like I've said I don't give a shit if he's had consentual sex with guys over 16.

it does nothing more than show how weak your argument is that you keep trying to resort to it.

What is my weak argument? That I want to see solid proof of Singer drugging and raping people or having sex with guys under 16 before condemning him as a pedo rapist? Oh how terrible of me.

Well this is quite something - both an ad hominem and a claim of me being a frau as a double? I presume your 19-22 year old guy comment is about Tom Daley? Just to be accurate, he was 18 when he and DLB met. And I already explained - in this thread - why I have questions about that relationship - dead dad, same age as Dustin - sound familiar? As for being a frau - nope, I'm actually a gay guy.

What is my weak argument? That I want to see solid proof of Singer drugging and raping people or having sex with guys under 16 before condemning him as a pedo rapist? Oh how terrible of me.

That's it, just pretend no-one mentioned the DEN stuff, or how Singer attended parties hosted by a convicted pedo and child trafficker, and how he funded that pedos company, or the accusations from others about Singer assaulting people of questionable age, and the threats those people then receive. Plus that whole "if you don't agree with me you're a homophobic woman" angle is weak as fuck too. Aren't you aware the pedo trolls already tried that shit in the Spacey threads?

I'm more than happy to say bon voyage to him if he ever gets sentenced to jail.

From the Radar article at R392:

The document listing the men was filed in the spring of 2000 in preparation for a $50 million stock offering scheduled for later that year. The amount invested by Goddard and Ancier is unknown, but according to other records, Neuman invested $617,110 and Singer’s contribution was $30,000 of a planned $50,000 investment.

Doesn't sound like Singer wanted to invest too much although I assume he wasn't too wealthy at the time.

Less than a year later, a group of DEN employees including Egan, Alex Burton, and Mark Ryan all filed suit against Collins-Rector, DEN and Brock Pierce

They didn't sue Singer and others at the time. Later when Egan sued Singer and others alone it turned out he head lied about various details and his case was thrown out of court.

Were Singer, Ancier, Goddard and Neuman really blind to where their money was going and what kind of behavior it was funding? The attorney who represented the DEN employees, Daniel Cheren, doesn’t think so.

Cheren obviously was representing his clients Egan, Burton and Ryan, and was possibly trying to implicate Singer and other wealthier investors to get more money. Then again he was possibly telling the truth.

Other investors named in the SEC documents obtained by Radar include Wonder Years actor Fred Savage, his brother, Ben Savage, Yahoo’s Terry Semel, Arianna Huffington’s ex, former Senator Michael Huffington, super-agent Gary Gersh, Wall Street honcho Mitchell Blutt, A&M Records head Gilbert Friesen (now deceased) — and dozens of other Hollywood bigwigs, none of whom have been in any way implicated in the sex ring investigation.

Like I mentioned earlier DEN had tons of investors.

R393 you neglect to mention that David Geffen invested in DEN. And that of its many investors, only a few attended parties at the DEN estate - named the 'M& C' estate for 'Marc' (Collins-Rector) and 'Chad' (Shackley, his boyfriend who C-R began to 'date' when he was 15 years old). Incidentally the place had been the home of the gangster / Death Records' boss Marion 'Suge' Knight.

No women or straight adult male investors were invited. Singer and Geffen did attend those parties. There were naked teenage boys in the patio and pool area. Including 14, 15 year olds. And those kids were given drugs and alcohol.

Nor do you mention that 'Alex' (Alexander) Burton, who sued Singer et al. in the action with Egan, was PAID by David Geffen to spy on Collins-Rector, Shackley and Pierce when the cops and FBI started showing interest in their business dealings. Burton, according to Pierce's sworn testimony in front of a judge in a court in Miami in 2003, said when Shackley found emails between Burton and Geffen Burton was confronted by C-R, Pierce and Shackley and shouted 'I'll be at Dave Geffen's' as he left. Burton was hired by Bryan Singer to play Pyro in The X Men.

'Alex' (Alexander) Burton, who sued Singer et al. in the action with Egan,

He did? I only find information that in 2000 he sued Collins-Rector and DEN, not Singer and others. To my understanding the later suit against Singer and others were by Egan solely.

Burton was hired by Bryan Singer to play Pyro in The X Men.

He appeared in the first X-Men very briefly. I don't remember if he even had any lines, or if he did there weren't many. An article called his role a 'brief cameo'.

BTW, all this "you neglect to mention" crap is funny since I'm definitely not an encyclopedia about what happened at DEN or at Singer's pool parties, nor am I pretending to be.

To my understanding the later suit against Singer and others were by Egan solely.

No, that's untrue and you know it. But it's easier to focus on Egan who can be easily discredited.

Apparently Singer paid off five victims who were within the statute of limitations for criminal action - to the tune of $20 million. Egan, who could only pursue civil action, was offered $100,000, by comparison, which he understandably declined to accept.

Five more alleged victims of Singer’s had come forward to Herman, and at least some of them had accusations within the statute of limitations. Under the proposed settlement, those five accusers would split the lion’s share of the settlement, which one source close to the case says amounted to $20 million. Egan would get a mere $100,000.

A question for DL legal types: If the five victims who accepted settlements were subpoenaed and forced to testify by a judge, could Singer compel them to return the enormous settlements?
