It's clearly too much to ask of Americans to understand that the inflation we are currently experiencing is a global phenomenon. Biden and Biden's policies did not create inflation. Respectfully, allow me to point out you are not voting for Biden, you are voting for DEMOCRACY. The unfortunate reality is if you vote for RFK or Jill Stein or any of the other campaigns championed by hostile foreign money and influence, you are voting for Trump.

Voting for Trump is a vote to END Democracy. He's admitted that and is running on that. We've raised a few generations (mine included) who have been conditioned to believe that if we don't get the choices we like, we can stamp our feet, yell and complain and vote accordingly.

My vote is just a drop in the bucket anyway, given how blue New York State is nonetheless. Also, I was a lot younger (22) and more politically naive then. (Don’t rake me through the coals, DLers).

Eventually, I came to my senses by voting for Biden in 2020. I will vote for him again in November. He’s not perfect, but I’m willing to give Joe a chance. I’m dreading a possible Trump reelection as it is (like all of you). Once Biden leaves office after 8 years, then we can get some younger and more progressive candidates in office (I’m hoping).
