I saw the OP picture earlier today on cnn.com I think, and I honestly thought they intentionally posted a really shitty photo where her hair had blown all out of place. It took me until the picture at r4 that I realized it wasn’t her hair but some bit of costuming adornment! I got through the first 3 replies here and literally said out loud to myself “Surely she can afford bobby-pins”.

I think she looks great. She got put through the wringer in the 90s. I don’t think she was ever the most talented girl in the world, but I’m glad to see she’s having a bit of a renaissance. Hopefully she’s worked on her acting chops in the meantime.
