The couture posing isn't haughty its misfiring cosplay. We are too familiar with these celebrities and anyway, they are not top models with talent for such posing. The super model era was sort of the last gasp of professional models and life long socialites being able to pull off such poses.

I'm not against some posing and putting on some attitude to carry a high concept look and couture artistry. But most of these ladies could dial it down about 75%.
