I was thinking today about some of the fascinating divorces of people who later went on to stardom. Many married someone before they got famous, then seemingly went for an upgrade once their career took off. What must go through the mind of someone whose spouse dumps them in such a fashion?
Examples:
Mimi Rogers, first wife of Tom Cruise. He divorced her after she taught him how to read and introduced him to Xenu.
Bridget Moynahan, longtime girlfriend of Tom Brady. He dumped her for a supermodel once he started winning Super Bowls.
Victoria Tennant, first wife of Steve Martin. She co-starred in the first of his Very Fucking Weird Movies, then disappeared and took her gorgeous Russian ballerina genes with her.
