Did ordinary people in the mid 70s actually wear jumpsuits like what Eric wears here? I was only six in 1976 and can’t recall.

To be fair to the OP, the jumpsuits were sold in JC Penney’s catalogs, they just didn’t catch on in my Midwest region the way they did on the West Coast. We did have a grand total of two ‘hep’ heterosexual Dads who dared to wear the jumpsuits in our apartment complex.
