Talented actor and very handsome man. I had no idea he was a recovered heroin addict.
David Dalmation

[quote] David Dastmalchian, know for his acting roles in The Dark Knight and Ant-Man, tells the story of his drug addiction to a crowd of people during a recovery rally at the Kansas Statehouse in Topeka, Kan.
"Know[n] for"?
According to imdb, he played the role in "The Dark Knight" of "Joker's Thug."

We're going to have to agree to disagree on “very handsome man.”

Very impressive and rare to meet a recovered heroin addict. Bravo.

R4 will believe anything.

He was in Oppenheimer. It's pretty impressive to go from homeless drug addict to starring in Christopher Nolan films.

I had only seen him in "Prisoners" prior to watching "Late Night with the Devil". His character in "Prisoners" was creepy as fuck and he was scary in it. He has an unusual look about him that lends itself well toward offbeat or creepy characters, but I also found him strangely sexy in "Late Night with the Devil". Perhaps the charismatic energy was part of it. I saw it in the theater and often found my eyes wandering to his beefy thighs and ass in those khakis. Very hot body.

He’s not THAT handsome.

The demon in Late Night With the Devil kept referring to him as very handsome. That's a bit conceited.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 21, 2024 8:16 PM |
Considering that David was also a producer.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 21, 2024 8:17 PM |
I wouldn't say very.

Agreed, OP. I've always thought he's cute.

How does one pronounce his last name
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 22, 2024 1:26 AM |
I wonder if he ever traded sex for drugs?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 22, 2024 2:00 AM |
I wouldn't say handsome. Interesting looks that can at times be attractive. He looks a bit like a young Harry Dean Stanton by way of John Cusack. I don't know if he ever worked with David Lynch but I can easily imagine him in any of Lynch's work.

He did work with David Lynch, on the Twin Peaks revival.
And yeah, he’s pretty sexy.

It's pronounced DUST-mal-chən. His father is Iranian.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 22, 2024 4:45 AM |
Now that's an Armenian last name.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 22, 2024 5:05 AM |
He should have changed his last name.

He’s Iranian.

He should do a buddy film with Patrick Fischler, directed by David Lynch.

He was really good as MacGyvers arch enemy in the reboot.

His star is really rising.

I'm getting young Alfred Molina.

He would be fantastic as the man in black in Mike Flanagan 's Dark Tower.

If I had that career - or that last name - I'd probably be on the junk, too.

Too bad he wasn't cast as Randall Flagg in The Stand.
