Women are more interesting than men
Just something I noticed from looking around my own neighbourhood/life.
The women are always the ones with more personality (even if it's a bad personality in some cases) They're the ones who start the most arguments, have more drama than men, funnier, more helpful.
In my neighbourhood, the women are mostly nutty and outgoing, even the shy ones are odd in their own ways. The men seem boring and interchangable.
I'm not explaining myself well, but does anyone know what I mean?

Of course. Men are generally boring. This is true.

Meh. Women are more of an open book. It doesn't take much to "discover" them, because they'll tell you all about themselves.
With men you need to "discover" them...outwardly and at first glance they seem to all act the same, but once you really start uncovering bits and pieces and glimpses of their actual personalities, you realize they are just as, if not more, interesting. I like that.

Yes, what you are trying to say is that these women have beaten down their husbands through the course of their marriage to the extent that the husband knows that the only way to keep the peace is to stay in the background and keep theirs mouths shut, unless they have already cleared their remarks and personality with their shrew wife. And don't even think of calling them out on it, they'll play the woman card faster than you can blink.
A tale as old as time.
