Like most M. Night Shamalamadingdong's movies, the trailer looks great, but the film itself will probably end up being disappointing.

Otherwise, Barbie could be considered “a Scott Evans movie”.

I hate that talking straight to the camera technique for the dialogue.

By the way, that is an excellent film.

So the plot twist is that he is the butcher guy, right?

The twist is probably the Asian guy tied up is the killer.

In an alternate world, Hartnett would have played Ennis Del Mar. Unfortunately he wouldn’t have been making out with Jake, but with Joaquin Phoenix which is not hot at all.

Knowing it was M.Night, I fully expected him to be the killer.

Hartnett should have had Jake’s role, since he’s actually masculine and not already a femme bottom. More realistic.

There's no way Hartnett is the killer based on that trailer. It's probably his daughter. She was obviously caught in the trap of the concert.

Manoj Nelliyattu Shyamalan Nahasapeemapetilon but you can probably just name him "Apu"'s whole cinematographic career has revolved around "all is not what it seems". It was great at first but it got a little repetitive and a little tedious and a little too predictable by the time he made this movie with Nicole Kidman and her children with xeroderma pigmentosum (I beg you to not google image the skin condition).

Otherwise, anyone else how very Lady Gaga is Lady Raven? Same voice, same idiosyncratic gothic looks, same choreos, and she also happens to play the piano on stage.

Reeve Carney is so beautiful at R27.

R27 Josh Harnett does such a great job in that scene. Without a single line of dialogue, you can see his face go from anger, to fear, to complete submission in just a few seconds.

He's underrated as an actor.

Josh Hartnett was fantastic in a very bad movie, The Black Dahlia. He was able to match the ersatz-40s tone.

If you saw Spielberg’s West Side Story, Ansel was just being Ansel but Mike Faist acted like someone from a movie from that era. Similar thing with Chalamet just sleepwalking thru Dune but Austin Butler acting like he was in hokey Space Opera, which is all Dune is.

Meh, the Penny Dreadful kiss is a pretty typical straight man, curled in lips, closed mouth, head banging, hand on face and blocking (or nearly so) the kiss kiss.

I don't know why, but Josh has always been dead sexy to me. He's got odd hair and a vaguely Asian face, but none of that matters. Woof.

I think it's because there's an effortless masculinity that he has.

He's not preened and primped, like most Hollywood heartthrobs.

Josh also comes across as a regular guy, which I love.

That twist, Hartmett as the killer, would be way too easy.

Maybe the reason Josh took his daughter to the concert is because she's the killer, and he knows it.

She's a monster, and he has to "feed the beast."

So he took her there so she could appease her blood lust.

Maybe she's a vampire. Or a werewolf.

That's my guess.

hartnett. Here's my guess - Hayley Mills is Hartnett's mom and she's been torturing people in the cellar since Hartnett was wee. And he knows it but he can't turn in Pollyanna!

They plan on setting off the fire sprinklers in the auditorium, since that will kill serial killers.

He looks great, and it looks watchable - perhaps in a hate-watch way just like other Knight shit.
