I just did an unexpected deep dive into Tom Cruise. Following that link and the links in the article they take you back to interviews going back to the 80s. Tom is actually a bigger cad then I had previously thought

Tom's father deserts the family when Tom is 11. Tom's mother finds a really nice guy who she marries and he takes in this whole family of orphans and by all accounts is a loving a supportive step-dad. Tom sees his real father on his deathbed for the last time vowing not to be like him, he wants to be like his loving step-dad

But then Tom becomes the biggest star in Hollywood and shortly after Suri is born does an interview claiming what a wonderful dad he is to his three kids. All the while he's getting his mom and sisters to desert the wonderful step-dad and join him in the cult of evil

The step-dad dies alone deserted by his family and Suri is rejected by her dad who turns out to be just like the dad who deserted him

People seem to not recall how Tom Cruise looked when he first appeared in films. He's had extensive work done on his teeth, his chin and his nose. I don't see any obvious traits that Suri has from him, she looks about 90% Katie Holmes.

Cosmetic surgery goes back to like WWI. Marilyn Monroe had a small chin implant and nose bob in the late-40s and it made all the difference.

Chin implants existed in the 1980s. A coworker who had a very noticeable receding chin had hers done in the early 1980s and made a big difference in how she looked.
