Alan Ritchson and Gyllenhaal publicly campaigning for Batman

I guess the Pattinson sequel is dead?

Ritchson with dark hair would be a dead ringer for the huge, barrel chested, deep voiced Bruce Wayne depicted in The Animated Series.

I wonder how many millennials had their gay awakening watching that cartoon.

Ritchson is too massive. He would make a good Superman, though.

Gyllenhaal is probably too old at this point.

But that was how the Kevin Conroy Batman looked.

There is currently an ongoing franchise with Pattinson so this seems pointless

by Anonymousreply 5April 18, 2024 2:54 PM

Ritchson needs to put a lid on it because he is closing to clinching it, but could lose it all due to his recent press whoring.

by Anonymousreply 6April 18, 2024 3:00 PM

No one cares about Batman.

by Anonymousreply 7April 18, 2024 3:02 PM

The Pattinson movie was terrible.

by Anonymousreply 8April 18, 2024 3:03 PM

If I had several million to spare, I’d pay producers not to make anymore Batman films. Basta!

by Anonymousreply 9April 18, 2024 3:19 PM

The Pattinson sequel has been pushed to 2026 or something like that. It's still being made.

There is another film featuring Batman in the works -- "The Brave and the Bold" -- which has a director but no cast. He's lobbying for that role, I guess.

My solution?

MORE HOT ROBINS!!

by Anonymousreply 11April 18, 2024 3:50 PM

It was the 1997 Batman and Robin that awakened some of my gayness, specifically Chris O'Donnell as Robin.

I remember suggesting to my friends that we go watch it at the cinema all those years ago. I think my reason was "it looks really cool" because I felt saying "Robin looks hot as fuck" probably wouldn't have been sensible.

I forgot Gunn awarded Andy Muschietti B&B right after fe delivered massive bomb Flash.

I actually expect DC Films to be folded back into Warner Bros Pictures given the declining popularity of superheroes. They don’t need a separate unit if they’re only going to produce maybe only one or two comic book movie a year now. WB created superhero movies for years without needing a special unit.

DC Films was specifically created to wrest control of the superhero characters from Zack Snyder after he botched Batman/Superman. It was a quality control move that delivered an even worse movie, Justice League, and has been responsible for five franchise killers (Wonder Woman 1984, Aquaman 2, Shazam 2, Flash and Black Adam.)

Maggie?

Didn't she already do one? And the highlight of the movie was her getting killed?

by Anonymousreply 14April 19, 2024 1:17 AM

From what it sounds like, the Robin in the "Brave and the Bold" will be Damian Wayne (Batman's son via Talia, the daughter of Ra's al-Ghul) at an age under 18.

She's much older now, and wants to play Aunt Harriet.

Isn't there going to be a different Batman film, not from the Elsewhere universe (or whatever it's called)? I think Patterson's is canon now, since they did a Penguin spinoff already with Colin.

by Anonymousreply 19April 19, 2024 4:11 AM

R18, you have posted that badly doctored picture of Alan in every thread about him.

I have a serious question. Are you autistic? Because many autistic people prefer looking at artificial looking people in pornography than they do real ones.

by Anonymousreply 20April 19, 2024 4:34 AM

r19, who is "Patterson"?

by Anonymousreply 21April 19, 2024 5:25 AM

Will Alan's super villain be The Big Banana ?
